Like other reviewers have said the house is kinda dirty and run down. Main house kitchen was pretty dirty on check in. Spent a good bit cleaning it. Also tables in living room were dirty. All of the carpets in the property were gross - dirty with tons and tons of stains. Pool was dirty. The road to get to the property was pretty treacherous. Other than that it was fine. The dock was very nice.

This house was absolutely perfect! The rooms were all so comfortable, even the bunk beds. the amenities were lovely. the pool was beautiful and the view from the deck was gorgeous. One thing to know is that the pool house does get a bit warm if the weather is hot, due to all the windows, so keep in mind if you are booking a stay in the hot summer months.

This home was a lovely getaway for a few days. Peaceful and quiet and the views were gorgeous. The pool was refreshing as well. We brought food with us to cook at the house which was a good idea as the closest place was at least 15 or 20 minutes away and a lot of windy gravel roads. Definitely would suggest to friends and family as it was way too much space for just the two of us but it was available, so we grabbed it!
10.0
The home has a spectacular view and has ample room to accommodate for large groups. I would go back if somebody else paid for it but for the price it did not meet my expectations.

There was plenty of room to sleep 13- 7 adults (3 couples + grandma) 5 teenaged boys (they loved the bunk room!) and one girl. There was plenty of space for people to spread out when they needed alone time. The 2 kitchens made it possible for us to store and prepare food for the whole family after one outing to the local grocery. The kids loved having a pool available at all times to themselves, except when adults called for adult swim time. S’mores around the fire pit were a big hit, as were the kayaks, the stand up paddle board, and life jackets for floating in the lake. Everyone agreed that it was the most relaxing family vacation ever! We would highly recommend it for your big family reunion.

This property has a lot to offer a large family. 2 separate houses share the same outdoor area/pool. Be aware that you have a long drive on gravel roads to get to the home. The cell service is spotty and wifi in the 2nd house is limited.
This house is ok, but it needs some updating and deep cleaning to look like the pictures online.
Overall, our stay was fine. Not bad, not exceptional. Just fine.

We had a group of 5 families stay for an extended weekend, the longer we were here the more issues we discovered with the property. Some issues could not be remediated during our stay, but issues that could be, Vacasa did not attempt to resolve them just created a ticket.
Amenities advertised but not working:
Whole home audio system
Sauna
WiFi in guest house, therefore, no TVs in the guest house would work or the outdoor TV.
Outdoor bar area is grossly neglected and hasn’t been cleaned in quite sometime and not usable unless you spent an afternoon cleaning it.
Pool pump did not seem to be working properly and was quite cold, assuming the heater was not working either.
In addition to these things not working, one bedroom in the guest house (king room) has mold growing all over the ceiling and coming down the wall. Quite the health hazard.
Multiple outlets in the bunk room do not work.
Night stand in queen room in guest house has a broken leg and it’s just propped up on it. Super safe when a baby bumps it or tries to pull up.
Dishwasher in guest house leaks.
Pros: plenty of beds and space for large groups to spread out. Laundry pods and dishwasher pods are supplied. Kitchens are well appointed, with exception of very few hand towels and wash rags. Firewood for the fire pit is available.
The property is beautiful but sadly has a lot of issues.
Vacasa has not been speedy in response to the issues, still going back and forth with them 2 weeks later..

This rental was perfect. Common space with enough space to have alone time. Swimming pool, sauna, firepit, and that beautiful lake (kayak, paddle boat, fishing dock). Great views... I highly recommend this rental. I will tell my friends to consider this for their family reunion also.

House is perfect for families. One large main house and a guest house separated by a pool. The kids loved it. On last night's stay there was a tornado and storms that knocked out power to the house and two large trees. I called and put in a ticket and the management company had the trees removed and a few hours. While we were waiting the cleaning staff walked up the hill climed over two trees to check on us. I would highly recommend the property.

Amazing property! Would love to return when the pool is open.

This cabin set against the lake was a beautiful, cozy place for our family to stay. The only this is the kitchen is not quite set up with dishes etc, for the amount of people that the houses can hold. otherwise it was a lovely place to stay!

For that amount we paid for this house we left disappointed. We came with our kids and grand kids to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. After being in the house for a day, we noticed there was a foul smell when we walked outside and which you could also smell from some of the rooms in the main house. It seemed to be the septic tank??? We killed flies inside constantly each day. We did not leave the doors opened so I don’t know where they came from, maybe the septic tank??? The property has a beautiful view and we enjoyed walking around the lake.

We had a great time at the Lostrock estate for our family reunion. The location is remote but very peaceful. The pool was a hit with everyone, and we enjoyed the lake with the kayaks and paddleboard.
We had a couple of problems (whole-house sound system wasn't working, and we had to have someone come out to take care of an issue with the pool) but Vacasa responded quickly and the minor inconveniences were resolved promptly.
I can recommend the property and Vacasa, both get five stars from us!

We loved the spaciousness of the two houses. Our large group had much room to move around and to explore.
The children spent most of their time in the pool, and we’re not in the pool, they enjoyed the lake and having access to the kayaks and paddle board.

We loved the house and having the guest house to spread out was great! Beautiful views of the lake! Also enjoyed the pool!

Let me start off by saying it was an extremely cold weekend with snow so it's understandable there may be some issues that arise. The main cabin had no central heat. There was a fireplace downstairs and a wood stove upstairs but that didn't heat the bedrooms or bathrooms. On the second day we were brought space heaters and told a heat and air person would be out the following day but they never showed. Taking a hot or even warm shower in the main house was impossible as the water only got luke warm at best. The downstairs toilet in the guest house never worked and there were not attempts to fix it. There were no attempts to clean off any snow or ice off the decks before our arrival. With 10 kids, that was a challenge. There was a huge hole in the pool cover. Also a challenge going from main house to guest house, particularly with kids and snow and ice that had not been shoveled.
Had it not been for the heat and water issues along with the extreme cold temperatures the stay might have been more enjoyable. It is a beautiful property. I just feel like since it was Christmas weekend and snow on the ground, the property manager just left us on our own. With paying over $4k for our stay I would expect them to go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable regardless of the time of year or the weather.
The kitchens are also very poorly stocked. I've stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this is by far the worst stocked kitchen I've encountered.

Our stay was AMAZING! The host contacted us before check in and was available for questions during our stay. The sleeping arrangements and amenities were perfect for our group. We are already planning another stay in 2 years!!!

This place was just short of amazing. I’m leaving it just short because the only thing missing was a hot tub, Our family had the best time kayaking, swimming in the heated pool, siting by the fire, and hanging out. We also visited eureka springs for a day which was a unique little town, and we went fly fishing. Can’t wait to go back !

This house/guest house was perfect for our family. The home is well maintained and large enough for privacy, but also with plenty of family/community spaces for gathering. The view and location is absolutely fantastic.....Beaver Lake is our new favorite water attraction!

We really enjoyed this property and it was even more beautiful in person!

We enjoyed our time here - great location on the lake, and the bonus of a pool, plus plenty of space for our whole family. Great communication before and during our trip too! Only downside was the houses were a little dirty - dead bugs and spider webs - but mostly to be expected with so much surrounding nature.

8 adults and 10 children comfortably stayed at this location with plenty of room to spread out. Enjoyed the pool and the well maintained walk to the dock for lake activities! The ice machine in the garage was a life saver as there were no other close options for daily ice needs! Also extra refrigerator and freezer in garage which helped as we brought all of our food for the week knowing we were going to be isolated from any nearby stores (30 min drive). Would recommend if you want to get away from the everyday chaos of city life in a private and relaxing place on the lake!!

My partner and I traveled with our four children. We were able to stay in the guest house, with the bunk room… Which enabled us to have separate accommodations from my parents who stayed in the main house. It was perfect and ideal for us having our own space.
We loved everything about the houses and the property. The pool was a huge bonus for the kids. We loved hanging out on the dock and enjoyed the outdoor living space just as much as the inside.
Greg was great and we are grateful for him hosting us!

It is a nice place for a large group. Bet peaceful and far away from anyone. The drive to it is about 20 minutes on a diet/gravel road, but not too bad. Over all glad I booked it and would do again.

My family and I are very upset based on our experience with the property and property manager from our stay last week. The pool wasn’t open for our stay. The Wi-fi was broken, which forced a few of us to take PTO rather than work from the house as intended. The driveway was almost impassable and we popped a tire on our mini van. The water smelled very badly like sewer water the entire stay + kayaks broken, gate broken, shower broken, grill broken. The property manager attempted to fix a couple of these issues without much success. They gave us a small credit back on Day 1 off the trip, but it wasn’t nearly enough for what we experienced. The property manager acknowledged that what we went through wasn’t acceptable and he would seek a further credit for us, but then went radio silent and never responded again. It’s really a shame because the property could really be amazing, but you can tell the owners really don’t care. We would have left in the middle of our stay but we were there with our 95 yr old grandfather and couldn’t put that stress on him. They really should be ashamed of themselves.

We shared this property between 4 families including 12 children ages 5-11. It was the perfect layout for our group. The bunk room was ideal for our kids. We all enjoyed using the kayaks, the fire pit, and the playhouse on the property. While everyone got in the lake, it was quite cold, and we are looking forward to booking again when it is warm enough to spend some time enjoying the water.

Greg, the home owner is great, reacted quickly, and overall had good communication. The property is beautiful and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay there. The house, however, could use a deep cleaning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

This was our 3rd time back, and it's a fantastic property.

Greg was always available to answer questions before and during our stay. The houses were beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone. The jacuzzi tub in the main house upstairs didn’t work, but it wasn’t advertised so not expected. Kayaks on the dock were great and the pool and fire pit were in constant use. Struggled with sound system but brought our own wireless speaker. We’ll be back for sure!!

Our family had a great time at this house. Note it is far away and hard to find but the owner makes that clear in the advertisement. The house has not been cleaned properly before we arrived but the yeah do you see that dirt on the edge yeah if you were my wife enough I’ll be great than

We have been coming here for a couple of years now. It is always a great time. The best part is it works for all ages of our big extended family. From early morning swims with the little ones, lake time all afternoon, till evening by the fire for the older ones, a good time is had by all.

A few things need some attention outside but overall we had a great time.

We had our annual company appreciation weekend here and will definitely be back. A beautiful property with great outdoor entertainment areas. Property owner was very accommodating and easy to deal with. A+!!!

No one in our group wanted to leave when it was time to go home! This property is really a neat setup, and very secluded, and we fell completely in love with Beaver Lake. We had multiple families with 11 kids total, that range from 3 months old up to 15 years, and they all had a blast swimming in the lake and pool. The kids that stayed in the bunk room loved it. I never heard any of the kids complain, except when it was time to go home. The men said the fishing was pretty good. The ladies really liked the wide open kitchen plan of the pool house, and the peace and quiet of the woods surrounding us. The property owner, Greg, was just super nice and helpful. There really is something for everyone in this hidden gem. A perfect place to make some memories.

This home is perfect for a large group. We have an extended family of 17 and there were just enough queen beds and rooms to accommodate all the couples with a bunk room for the singles. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the decor contemporary and in good condition. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with cookware and dishes. The grounds are gorgeous, with an infinity pool between the two houses. The walk down to the lake includes numerous steps and a long grassy hill, but we were able to drive a car from the house so our 85 year old mom just had to navigate the rocks near the shoreline. The dock is huge and seemed to be almost new. There were 2 kayaks and a beautiful cove for swimming. We can't wait to come back next year.

Our family of twenty spent three wonderful days at this great property on Beaver Lake. There is not another property on Beaver that compares to this. There is so much space both inside and outside that no one felt cramped. The grand kids loved the bunk room. The pool, decks and fire pit meant something fun was always going on. The boat dock and swimming area in the cove was a real treat, especially the two kayaks. All the grand kids learned how to kayak. Our son brought his boat and everyone enjoyed tubing in the main cove of the lake. This is the best part of Beaver, and the beauty is breathtaking. There is a great place right across from the house to do some cliff jumping(safely, as the water is plenty deep). Both houses were very well kept and clean. We hope we can get our family together another time and come back.

I have rented numerous vacation homes and condos through VRBO and this is by far the nicest we have ever had. We stayed at this amazing lake property with our closest friends with a total of 16 people. Both houses are very spacious and beautifully decorated. We had plenty of room for four families to spread out and never feel crowded. The kids' bunk room in the guest house is so awesome! It is a kid's dream room! The houses are well stocked with dishes, linens, paper products. The deck area is absolutely massive with several different levels. There is a large TV and state of the art sound system on the deck. The fire pit is a great area to hang out in the evenings. The infinity pool is large and very nice, with a beautiful view of Beaver Lake. There is a large, new dock with multiple boat slips and plenty of space to hang out and swim in the crystal clear lake water. Both the property manager and the owner were so helpful during our stay. I cannot say enough about this property. It is the perfect place to relax and have fun with friends and family. We are ready to book again for next summer!!
