We stayed 2 nights on the houseboat and enjoyed the quiet. WE enjoyed exploring the sweet town of Sanford and at eat a couple really nice restaurants. Plus, went out on the Barbara Lee for a dinner cruise what had a live band. We really enjoyed our time there.

We were pleasantly pleased with the comfort and cleanliness that this houseboat provided. It had all comforts of home. The outside decks were a great place to relax and review our days events. The location made walking to downtown Sanford and all of it's shops and restaurants very easy. What a great stay we had and plan to come again.

It was great. Nice and quite. The gate was kind of a hassle. Could use curtains. Sunshines into bedroom in the morning and glares on tv. Saw a turtle and a gator. Then saw the gator eat the turtle.

Beautifully decorated, modern, spic n span. This gem has all the necessities you would need to spend a relaxing time on the water. Close to town with restaurants to meet any desires from sandwiches to steaks. Take a walk along Lake Monroe enjoying the outdoors. Enjoyed our stay and will probably return.

Owners are great folks. A/C works perfectly, clean, great bed, large fridge and the best location in Sanford. What else does a couple need. Don't pass this one up.

This was better than staying in a hotel. It was very clean and nicely decorated. kitchen is well equipped with nice dishes and pots and pans. Wish it had a keurig. The bed was very comfy with nice bedding. living room has a nice tv and comfy clean furniture. The shower had great pressure and there was plenty of hot water. The upper outdoor deck was great. the furniture could be replaced, but it didn't stop us from enjoying it every night. There is a grill, but it is electric. All of the neighboring boat's were very friendly and respectful. No loud parties. You don't know that you are on a boat when inside. the boat is well tied off. It has enough room for 2 adult's and maybe a child. Would definitly love to stay here again.

This property was exactly what I hoped it would be. I was traveling by myself, visiting some friends, and wanted a place to just get away and relax. I really enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water having breakfast, and at night just unwinding with a cup of coffee. I will definitely be back.

Amazing houseboat. Great location in downtown Sanford. Walk to nearby shops, restaurants & bars. Full kitchen with all the full size appliances & accessories you need. Great bedding. Two outdoor seating areas, including the rooftop. Owners are responsive, professional & courteous. 5 stars / Highly recommend.

This is basically a cool apartment on the water, normal bathroom, shower, and kitchen appliances. The best boat house we have ever stayed on and that has been a few. A must stay if you are in the area.

Our stay at the boathouse exceeded our expectations. Check-in was easy and free parking lot was very close to the house. The boathouse was immaculate. We were within walking distance of restaurants and really enjoyed the lovely little city of Sanford. A wonderful experience for our birthday getaway -- we highly recommend this property!

The houseboat was spotlessly clean. The furniture and appliances were planned perfectly for comfort and function in such a little space. Sitting on the little porch was so relaxing and we enjoyed just a short walk to restaurants and shops in historic Sanford. The owner provided excellent and clear instruction for check in and encouraged us to contact him if we had questions.

We enjoyed our stay on the floating bungalow. It is the perfect location, a short walk to downtown and the many restaurants and breweries. We were also just steps from the river walk and near several beautiful parks.

Easy walk to town and a couple of restaurants really close including very good seafood place (get the boom boom shrimp appetizer) right on Lake Monroe. Nice mix of restaurants and galleries in town, and enjoyed renting bikes to see historic district neighborhoods. We were there on Mon, Tues, Wed and very quiet at the marina. Wildlife viewing off the rear deck was outstanding; a manatee right near the house boat, lots of osprey and turtles. The boat interior has comfortable furnishings and bathroom setup is same as small apartment (i.e. not cramped like a typical boat, no pumping toilet...). There are bugs at night, none biting like mosquitos, but we expected that comes with being on the water. We would definitely rent again.

The house boat is extremely clean. Absolutely adorable. We saw a family of turtles that visited every day, a gator hung out for a full day and beautiful birds. Locations was perfect. 20 min to Orlando, 35 to the beach and the downtown of Sanford is cute as can be. Food downtown was great!! My favorite part, hanging out on the lower deck watching nature. It was so peaceful. The owners are quick to respond and very kind. I would recommend this house boat over and over. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing vacation ♥️. This adorable floating bungalow was absolutely fantastic and the host could not have been more accommodating and gracious. This houseboat exceeded my expectations as it was fantastic, well-stocked, comfortable, and beautiful; and the view and surrounding area was equally as wonderful. I have been considering buying a houseboat and wanted to stay aboard one to get an overall feel and now I hope I can find one just as lovely. The host, Jay, has certainly set the bar high. The Sanford Marina and downtown area offers lots of great places to shop and dine and I felt safe and secure as a solo traveler. I had a terrific time and would highly recommend this absolutely adorable floating bungalow. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing stay at this adorable house boat. The location was perfect, and was a quick easy walk to all the downtown sites. The owners were super quick to respond, and very accommodating. It was clean, comfy, and had more room than we were expecting. We loved our time on the deck bird watching and checking out the other boats on the water. A+++ We will most definitely be rebooking in the future. Thanks guys!

This is a great find on the water! Perfect for my husband and I. Sanford is a 2 minute walk with many restaurants, shops & activities. We were visiting family and it was perfect for our weekend getaway. Well appointed and clean!! We will be back.

This was our first tiny house experience, and we feel like it wasn’t tiny at all. We had plenty of space for 2 and enjoyed that we had a real stove to cook with. Most of these homes only seem to offer a cooktop, and we love to cook, so the oven was appreciated! TBH most places on the water wouldn’t offer a real toilet, but the bathroom was more than expected as well. ST John’s river restaurant, just steps away, offered the crunchiest and biggest grouper sandwich we have ever seen, and the fish and chips portion was nothing short of ridiculous. We will be back!!

The houseboat is fabulous. and the hosts were great Just steps away from a very vibrant downtown with lots of restaurants and pubs. Great place to bring bikes to ride around the quaint neighborhoods surrounding downtown Sanford. We brought kayaks to go Blue Springs and paddle near the manatees.

We had a much needed relaxing trip. We even enjoyed the day when it was cold and rainy. The houseboat is very comfortable. We made some coffee and curled up with a good book. We were walking distance to many restaurants and bars. We didn’t need our car at all. We had a visit from a manatee. He came right up to the deck. We will definitely be back.

We spent 3 nights in this beautifully decorated houseboat. It was perfect for our getaway. The bed was very comfortable (memory foam), water pressure was good, there were outlets everywhere (first place we have been that I left my power strip in the bag), and it had everything we needed. Even though it is a small place, it felt roomy and we never felt crowded. It is very clean and organized, and switches are all labelled so we never had to guess how to turn on a particular light. The host was very responsive to our messages. We had coffee and tea on the back deck with the ducks in the morning, and had 2 sunsets on the top deck. It was surprisingly quiet at night. It is located just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown (so you can both enjoy a beverage without needing a driver!). We came to check out the bike trails, and the Riverwalk was beautiful and took us easily to the Spring-to-Spring trail. We can definitely recommend this houseboat if you are coming to check out the area. We hope to come back again!

Staying on a houseboat is just one step up from just renting a place to stay for the night. We have rented several houseboats over the last few years and this one was exceptionally clean and new. Bed was very comfortable and the porch out front was a nice place to sit and see the happenings of downtown Sanford. The location can't be beat. A short walk to downtown for bars, restaurants and shops. Best part is the self check in so you can arrive at your leisure. We went boating for the day so had no idea when we would arrive to check in. The hosts were gracious enough to let us drop off our bags in the morning before we went boating. We will be back.... 5 stars.

What an amazing houseboat. We were fortunate that there was a cancellation that allowed us to spend two wonderful days in Sanford. The house was immaculate and had everything you needed. The two level back porch was a tremendous bonus that we spent our mornings and evenings on. Tried to book it for next year at same time but this houseboat is a hot commodity. Great place for a couples getaway.

I had to travel to Central FL for emergency family business. Staying here made my bad situation a lot better. The host was great to me and the property was great. I will stay there again in the future. I enjoyed the top deck balcony and the comfortable bed the most. Many Thanks to the host!!!
