The property was clean, tidy and had everything we could possibly need!
4.3
Caravan in nice location.
Park a bit run down. Caravan seats needed a good clean. Shower too hot couldn't let kids have a shower.

Location wa good for visiting the areas we wanted to see/visit
The Caravan (51 Albatross) was very dirty and worn.
Bathrooms.
Upon arrival, we noticed both radiators in both bathrooms were full of yellow stains and dust.
We wiped them a little with a damp cloth and it started to come of straight away. We believed these to be urine or rust marks that the cleaning team have simply never tried to wipe.
Shower.
The shower cubicle base was full of black mold. This has not been cleaned for months, the build up of black mold was discusting and dirty.
Access.
The caravan has no parthway leadinng to the van. The path only went down the side of the van and therefore no way to get to our caravan other than walking across deep mud due caused by the bad weather that week. All other caravans had pavement stones leading to the caravan for access, this one did not
Pull out bed (front room).
The bed does not retract from it's putaway location. The iron bar on each side of the bed is too long and it cannot be extracted from the inside of the setee where it's stored. Made it impossible to use.
Mircrowave -
The inside has not been cleaned properly, still food left overs splashed up the side from the previous guests
TV.
The remote did not work, we eventually worked out it was the batteries that were dead.
We replaced these at our own cost and it worked.
Note: The TV (21 inch) is very small for a Caravan that can sleep 8 people. Not comfortable to watch at all.

The caravan was lovely like bew. We upgraded and ut was worth it
The lack of facilities on the site. In the main areas very dated interiors
4.3
Good food at buckets reasonable priced drinks plenty on offer and entertainment was ok

Spotless, well kitted out, beautifully decorated caravan on a park with fab facilities, the outdoor pool in particular really makes the park stand out (although we were lucky with the weather!)
Ants are a real problem. I know they do their absolute best to keep on top of it and we couldn’t fault the cleanliness but the ants are the only thing that puts me off rebooking.

The caravan was freezing cold and the leaflet for events in an evening was incorrect x went out for a disco as advertised and ended up playing bingon

All the staff at the site are very friendly and ensure you have a great stay, the caravan we stopped in was well maintained and had everything you would want and we really loved the welcome gift pack left for us which we didn't expect. O/all great value and will definitely stay again.

Location
- The shower in the caravan was unusable, the temperature control was not working meaning the water was scalding hot and was dangerous had someone have got in without checking the temperature, this mean we were unable to shower during our stay. As we were only there 2 nights it wasn’t a big deal as such and we didn’t notice the issue until 6.30pm on the tuesday night. I have a 2 year old who i was getting ready for bed so we didn’t contact guest services at the time due to that time of night to have to wait for engineers to come round to check it or move caravans it didnt make sense as we were checking out at 8.30/9am the next morning.
-on arriving at the caravan monday the interior was rather neglected, the stools around the dining table were heavily and noticiably stained, there we stains on the living room carpet and also a cigarette burn on the sofa. Again this didnt really affect our stay as such but it wasn’t up to the standard that we expect or that we had had before on previous stays in other caravans on this site.
-upon checking out I was asked if everything was ok with our stay, i mentioned the two above points, firstly mentioning the shower due to safety reasons to ensure this was fixed before any other guests check in, i was told by guest services that it was possibly that the thermostat was broken but that’s ‘my problem for not calling guest services so they could fix it’ i explained our reasons why and that if we were staying longer then we would have reported the issue then. The lady then repeated that ‘its my own fault for not telling them when we found the issue’. I told them I wasn’t looking to complain i was just giving them feedback on how my stay was. I then went on to mention the upholstry and interior and was told ‘thats what you get when you book a comfort caravan, you’ll see general wear and tear’ i explained that i don’t see cigarette burns and heavy stains as wear and tear and we also weren’t advised of this on check in.

modern, clean and functional.
nothing, was really great.

Nice caravan, was given a comfort and it was very much that. Nice little box of washing up things too.
We had made a special request that we were celebrating my husbands graduation and it was accepted, so I thought we may get some goodies in the caravan as others have stated but we didn’t which was a shame.

Lovely area clean and welcoming

First time I've stayed on site and I was very pleased. Grounds were very quiet and people very friendly. The lodge was stunning too!

The caravan was very clean and comfortable

The little pot with useful kitchen items, that can be used as a biodegradable plant pot (with seed pencil) was a nice touch. Thank you. Overall, for a weekend stay the facilities were adequate for four adults.
Nothing major, it would have been useful to have towels provided as they are bulky to pack, especially just for a weekend.

I like that there is an on site shop. Staff are really helpful. The kids enjoyed swimming. It's all clean and relaxed
The showbar was too loud for the kids 0-10 years
