If you’re a couple looking for the absolutely perfect place to stay, this is it. Quiet, charming and a beautiful setting. A short drive to anywhere in the area. We loved every part of this place! Next time we come to La Crosse and this place isn’t available we’ll have to change dates. Thanks Emily for such a great space!

The place was very clean and instructions were crystal clear. Having a garage to put the boat in was fantastic. I would highly recommend.

The property was as described. It was spotless and very organized, great communication and close to everything. We will definitely be back!

Emily was amazing and thoughtful in every way. Bedroom was large, love the surround sound, kitchen and bathroom had everything we could need and more. Although it was too cold to use the deck, it looked amazing to sit out and look at the river. Make sure to bring good shoes to load and unload your vehicle cause getting to it could be scarey especially with ice and snow but totally worth it. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We were able to enjoy this unique property for a quiet get away. We went to the Mississippi River in early November to see the migratory water birds. We saw thousands of tundra swans feeding in protected waterways. The weather cooperated and we had clear skies and warm fall temperatures. The apartment is in LaCrosse so we could explore and take advantage of the city, but once you leave your car and take the steps to the apartment you can only see the water and the dock in this private retreat. The apartment was spacious, extremely clean, and comfortable. It was a memorable and completely enjoyable stay.

This property was a perfect getaway for our family to visit our daughter attending UWL. The property is very clean, modern and peaceful. It is well appointed with everything you could need. Highly recommend!

Best vacation I’ve had, period. So comfortable and the view is fabulous. Bring your boat and have it ready to go whenever the mood moves you. The dock is just a few steps away. Grilling on the deck was a pleasure. Enjoyed many an evening watching the sun sink in the west. Come to LaCrosse, Wisconsin and enjoy all that is offered in the bustling community.

Highly recommend this property, even for families! I wouldn’t say this is completely open concept, more semi-private…the bedroom is on the opposite side of the wall from the main space, just a cased opening rather than a door. Emily is an amazing host that anticipates the needs of her guests, having many extras on hand. We booked for our family of 4 originally for one of my sons to compete in a tournament on the river. We ended up allowing the other son to bring a friend and also brought our 2 month old foster baby. There was ample space for all 6 of us. The teens had the main room with the sofa bed and air mattress Emily provided. Us parents and the infant had the bedroom, which also has a sitting area, and the deck to ourselves. Though the location of the property is in the town and surrounded by close neighbors, it actually feels very private and secluded once down to the house and on the covered deck. You overlook the boat landing, but that is not disruptive, actually enjoyable and entertaining at times. I rarely heard any noise other than river activity or critters (birds, otters and groundhogs to name a few we watched). The locals that live at the landing are helpful and friendly as well. The view from the house and deck overlooking the river is very relaxing! I am already missing it!! I highly recommend this property and will be back when in the area!

Perfect sized space to land and launch from. Enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the Mississippi - truly a treat to have this included! Also enjoyed breakfast, reading, and watching the river from the covered deck.

Perfect size place for what we needed. We were in town for state track, this was a short drive to the track and close to plenty of food options. Nice and clean. We had a little trouble with the door, but called and got a quick response. Very happy overall.

Great place, very peaceful, quiet and secluded. Emily added many little touches to make it a home away from home. Everything from little snacks to toiletries, games and books. It was nice to have use of the garage space as well. We enjoyed our time here. She gave us great information on local places to eat. I recommend 4 Sisters! We would enjoy staying here again if back in the area.

We came here for our anniversary weekend and we had the absolute best time! The place was clean and cozy. And Emily is absolutely fantastic!! We will absolutely be back!!

This rental was very clean. Owner thought of many little extras for anyone who may have forgotten little things. Owner was very quick to respond to any messages and highlighted some things we might like to check out during our stay. Very thoughtful. We came in later at night and had a hard time finding where we were supposed to go as it wasn’t lit very well. Just a tip, the keypad will light up once you touch it. Tripped us up for a bit 😄 the location was very quiet at night. In the morning you could hear talking outside if someone was there but not unreasonable as people will be going by outside with the landing being right there. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Very pleasant place with great views over the inland waterways that branch from the Mississippi. Quiet, clean, well stocked with great views. Great bathroom and bedroom. Kitchen was up to the tasks and the living room was comfortable too. Hosts were attentive when contacted and the place was as expected. It has a garage that can be used and even has kayaks available. It feels quite remote because of how it is situated down from the road but it is only minutes away from the town center and all the shopping, dining, and other activities that are part of La Crosse. My favorite place is now the Hungry Peddler just down the road. Great food, great atmosphere (old diner), and great prices, we went there twice in 4 nights.

Property was in a good, safe and convenient neighborhood... And it had a place to store my 20' bass boat inside of the garage. It was on the water and it was 15 minutes from Freedom Park boat launch.

This was the best! Emily was so accommodating. Everything was very clean. The deck off of the bedroom is amazing and super big. There were little snacks supplied if you feel inclined & lots of extras in the bathroom if you happen to forgot a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. My favorite there happened to be the peacefulness of the location and listening to the great speakers while making breakfast in the morning. We can’t wait to stay here EVERY time we come to visit my sister at school. Can’t recommend Emily & this property enough. (:

We had a very pleasant stay for our honeymoon.

This home is right on the water to provide calm relaxing views, especially off the private deck! This really is a gem in La Crosse within close driving distance to all the benefits of the city, but allows quiet relaxation time for you to unwind and get away from it all. A wonderful place to stay!

Nice place close to fishing, property and house was really nice only bad part was a lot of steps going up and down..Owner was really nice and accessible and had a really nice cleaning lady.

Our weekend getaway here did not disappoint! It is a very clean, updated property with beautiful bedroom views of the river. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings on the back porch. Fished from the dock and watched the boats cruise by. We were pleasantly surprised by these quiet relaxing surrounding located within the city limits. It is very secluded and you had no idea you were in the city while relaxing on the deck. There is also so much to do close by!! Downtown La Crosse is only minutes away. It was so fun to walk around, explore the city, hike Grandads bluff, and enjoy the local winery’s. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!! ❤️

We LOVED our stay at this property! It wasn't out of the way, yet it felt like you were staying in a cabin with no close neighbors! They have a large covered porch, a quick walk down to the docks, kayaks available for use, a boat slip, and all the amenities you need. The place was updated and very clean. Would definatley stay here again!

We booked this trip for a family reunion with just a couple weeks to spare. Then, we got COVID and were not even sure we were going to make it. So glad we did! We got in and were so surprised at this little gem of a VRBO. Emily had a welcome letter and the place fully stocked of everything we could possibly need (down to the sunscreen, bug repellant, etc). We have made sure that our family in the area is aware of it if they ever need extra accommodations. HIGHLY Recommend!

This property was absolutely wonderful. It was well equipped, very clean and in a beautiful location. Emily certainly goes above and beyond to communicate and make her guests feel comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the extras that were there for guests to use from popcorn to board games and many things in between. It was obvious that Emily and her husband take great pride in the property and guests.
