You'll be able to step down off your staircase and into the sand at this Dauphin Island home, an oceanfront escape beautifully situated on the shores of Mississippi Sound. Walk a few steps to lounge on the coast or head a few houses down the road to enjoy the white sand of West End Public Beach on the Gulf of Mexico.

Newly constructed in 2022, this home enjoys views of the ocean in one direction and the sound in the other. The exterior boasts a spacious sun deck by the ocean that offers a private hot tub, a gas grill, and ample seating, ensuring you can always make the most of your lovely surroundings. A private pool was also recently added, giving you the option to go for a dip whenever you please.

Inside, everything is brand new, from the central air conditioning system to the furnishings and fixtures. At the heart of the home is an open living, dining, and kitchen area, with natural light and views of the water streaming in from both directions. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and a prep island, there's space to eat at both the dining table and the breakfast bar, and the living room offers a large TV for movie nights.

The bedrooms are separated in the corners of the house, each offering a TV and en suite bathroom.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Loved the layout of this house. Good size bedrooms and closet space. Living room view out to the bay was wonderful. Sitting out on the deck at sunset perfect!

We enjoyed our stay. Dauphin Island is a unique place, but it's important to note that there's not too much to do there. If you're looking for a place to just hang out on the deck and enjoy the view, then it's a great place. The house is relatively new, which is nice, but we had a few issues. The refrigerator had some cooling issues, the ice machine didn't work, the pool wasn't very clean, the grill needs to be replaced, and there were a lot of mosquitos. The last comment is the nature of being on the island but it's worth noting. Bring plenty of bug spray. Also, the curtains don't provide much privacy at night. With all this said, the management company was responsive. They sent someone out to clean the pool and followed up when I asked questions. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and the house. It would be even better if they could work out a few of the items mentioned.

Great house for dogs (and family). Plenty of room for family and extended family (6 adults, 3 teenagers) and 3 dogs. Very peaceful area of the island.

Came for a few days to celebrate a significant family birthday. Everything was excellent and it was a great get away. Definitely stay there again.

Rented for family to stay in for daughter's college graduation. Only an hour from USA campus. Island is always great to visit when down for several days, and have used Vacasa a couple of times. Fast response from them and local site team when questions came up. Spectacular view of bay and Gulf. Lots of space, and having heated pool and hot tub kept kids occupied. Had a few games for the kids, and had plenty of seating. Driveway can be difficult to find (esp at night), because the driveways look about the same. Stairs can be a lot when loading/unloading cars. Be sure to wear fitness tracker (useful for walks on the beach too). Left private feedback for minor improvements, but we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!

This bay side property has all the beauty of the wild life, natural grasses and bay beach with total access to the gulf side just across the street. The pool and hot tub were fantastic additions for our guests (cleaned and serviced weekly). Home and amenities were as advertised—clean and well-maintained. Appliances were all nicer than builder-grade often found in rentals. Because the property is maintained by a management company, you’ll find fewer personal touches you often find in private homes (e.g., leftover sun screens, beach towels, local recommendations). That said, a fantastic island location and really enjoyable property!

The rooms were much larger than we had expected which was nice for my family of eleven. Very clean and tidy. The back deck is awesome with the pool and just a short walk to the beach area. A couple of things needed repair but it’s to be expected in a rental property. Would’ve liked a few more kitchen towels. Internet seems to be an issue but that just may be the island and the property manager was quick to call someone out to check on it for us. It didn’t get much better for long during our stay but we weren’t there to be on our devices. I would say, overall, a super nice property on a really neat little island!

This house is beautifully decorated and furnished. It met our needs very well. We were not impressed with the area, however. Most of the end of the island where the house is located is not landscaped at all. In fact the yard and path out to the bay was not landscaped or maintained wel at all.

We loved the access to beaches on the bay (as part of the property) and on the Gulf (across the street). The floorpan works well, with an open living area and 4 bedrooms (two on each side of the living area). The kitchen was functional and well equipped.

We had a pretty good experience in this house. Our main complaint was the cleanliness of the property and we were concerned about the construction of the stairs. If someone is planning a trip to Dauphin Island, please understand that there is very little to see and eat on the island.
