Great Property! Very clean and comfortable. I have a bad back so I’m sensitive to furniture/pillows/beds with no support. This house has been furnished with care not cheap stuff from Homegoods/Wayfair. The island itself is an oasis from the crowds. We’re planning on staying here again, next year. Christian, the owner, couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great host!

This VRBO was absolutely perfect for 6 adults. Plenty of room, plenty of beds, plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was very well appointed. We used the hot tub every night. The AC worked very well which was good because it happened to be fairly hot and humid during our stay. The house is in a quiet neighborhood away from the busy-ness of the other MV towns, but was easily accessible by the Chappy Ferry. I would absolutely recommend this listing to anyone staying with a family. Several beaches are only 10 minutes drive away and they are not crowded at all. Very close to golf and Japanese gardens as well.

We had a marvelous weekend in Martha’s Vineyard at this lovely home in Chappaquiddick. The house had everything you could need, inclues wonderful coffee maker! Communication with the owner was great. It was easy to take the ferry back and forth to Edgartown and do nice to be able to explore East Beach and Wasque.
The house itself was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the Celtics together in the TV area, and also had fun playing basketball and using the hot tub!

We had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. The decor is coastal…love all Annie Selke furnishings. We enjoyed the hot tub and back deck despite being chilly. Christian was extremely helpful and responsive. All in all, we had a wonderful long weekend and hope to come back again soon.

This is a great place to experience Chappy. House is modern (not always true on Chappy) and located close to access to East Beach and Wasque. Host is extremely responsive. We will try to book again next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It had all the comforts of home and more! Lots of space for fun and relaxation indoors and out. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of swimming at fishing at local private beaches. The kids loved running in the yard and playing basketball. It is the perfect peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

We have been to the Cape many times but realize now how little we knew about Martha's Vineyard. We are so happy that we chose this house. Chappaquiddick (Chappy) is magical. The short, convenient Chappy ferry takes you from bustling and beautiful Edgartown to a completely different environment. It is quiet and open with undeveloped farmland and miles of pristine beaches. The house did not disappoint either. Private, spacious and very accommodating. Everything was immaculate and comfortable. We truly appreciated all of the details that the owners had thought out. The whole house was stocked with everything we would have at home, making it very easy to just purchase a few food items, make a great meal either on the grill or stove and hang out. We looked forward to going back after sightseeing and using the hot tub, having a few drinks and even dancing on the deck. We had two couples so two master suite areas was wonderful. They are in opposite sections of the house and provide a great sense of privacy and separation. We used the bikes provided to explore the island and our only regret was that we only had four days. We will definitely be back for a family vacation with our grown children. One word of caution-if you plan to take your car, be sure to book the ferry from the mainland to Martha's Vineyard early. We did not and had to get a rental car due to unavailability on the ferry that can accommodate vehicles. Thanks Christian for a wonderful getaway. Your house is lovely!

Would highly recommend for families. In-law suite above garage was a nice set up for accompanying grandparents (although outside staircase may be tricky for some folks). House was clean, updated, beautifully and comfortably furnished, well-equipped with all we needed including linens, beach towels, soaps, etc. Host was kind and responsive. Just a short drive to the beautiful East beach or Wasque.

We loved Chappaquiddick. The beaches were wonderful with hardly any people. No traffic, just beauty here! Getting to Edgartown and the rest of MV was super easy on the Chappy Ferry. The house was perfect for us. My husband and I had plenty of privacy in the suite over the garage while the rest of the family slept in the main house. The house was beautiful with plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing corn hole in the evening. Can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time during our stay and we were very happy with the house. The house is nicely furnished with “island colors” - whites, creams, various shades of blues - creating a relaxing setting. The kitchen is well equipped and nicely accommodates multiple chefs. Bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. With both a living room and family room, there is plenty of common area to relax. The deck provides another lovely sitting area, with trees and shrubs on the perimeter of the yard offering privacy. It was a perfect spot for star-gazing. Lastly, Chris, the owner, reached out several times to make sure everything was satisfactory, which it most definitely was. The house was spotless. We would definitely return.

Our family vacation on Chappy was just perfect in so many ways. The home is absolutely beautiful and affords privacy to a larger group. Well stocked, super clean and pristine, this home served us well in between our travels over sand and on the main island. No doubt that Christian will become a super host very quickly with his excellent management skills. We would definitely stay here again! - A seasoned MV traveler

Nothing special about this place at all. Clean: yes. Pleasant owners:yes. Cleaning fee high: yes. House and amenities: a total yawn. Everything is builder grade- not exactly the owners fault, as they paid a ton to buy the place. But for the price, one would expect something nicer - anything nicer. A great gathering room with a great kitchen, or fantastic landscaping with great sitting areas. Sorry, but not to be found - the whole place is budget builder grade, starting with the architecture to the cheap vinyl floors, to the cheap bathrooms and kitchen.

Beautiful home, elegantly decorated but still comfortable for a family with children. Hot tub and home were super clean. Location was private and quiet. Host was incredibly responsive and there was a local caretaker should we have run into any issues, which we did not. Thank you for a perfect holiday weekend!

If you have ever been to Chappy then you understand what a special place it is! This weekend was exactly what I needed to reset!
The house is perfect, beautifully decorated with special touches including a bottle of wine upon check in and towels laid out on each welcoming bed.
Impeccably clean and stocked with everything you need. And most importantly a helpful and accommodating host!
I will be back!

Beautiful getaway in peaceful Chappy, yet easily accessible to downtown Edgartown. The house was incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The location is also perfect for enjoying Pogue and Wasque and we also loved the local farm stands. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

A wonderful coastal retreat
My family of four stayed for a week and had a fantastic time! On Christian’s recommendation we got a permit to drive on the beach and spent nearly every day swimming and paddle boarding at Cape Poge. We also loved the waves at East beach and having Wasque Point all to ourselves on a foggy afternoon.
The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment and utensils. We grilled several times, used the giant lobster pot, and ate many meals at the outdoor table. We were glad that we grabbed lots of groceries on MV before taking the ferry to Chappy so we could relax and cook at home for most meals. Slip Away farm is also right down the road and had a great farm stand selling their own meat and veggies on Friday and Saturday.
The house is incredibly clean, inviting, and well appointed. Chappaquiddick takes a bit of effort due to the ferries to MV and then to Chappy, but the payoff is an incredibly peaceful, quiet vacation away from the crowds at more popular coastal spots. We can’t wait to return!

Great spot and wonderful weather
Our stay was very nice. The house is well appointed and has a good bit more amenities than the average rental. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood in Chappy. Chris, the owner, is very easy to deal with as is the care taker (Jack). We had one or two small issues that were taken care of immediately - Jack lives at the house next door. Overall a great experience.

A wonderful escape
If you are seeking to get away from it all and enjoy a private escape, this house and location are perfect on Chappaquidick. It is a stunning property, set back from the street in a wooded area. It is a very comfortable property and feels like a home. From the furniture and decor to the fully stocked kitchen, and the back deck with jacuzzi and grill, to the extra beach chairs and bicycles, we were relaxed and felt at home. The guest suite / 2nd master was a welcome surprise giving a young couple privacy while on our family vacation. We loved the proximity to East Beach, as it’s our favorite on MV. The Chappy Ferry is convenient, running regularly all day making it easy to both drive over or walk on and off to explore the island. Being on Chappy, you’ll want a car to get around. The owner of the property, Christian is a great host who wants to ensure you have the best experience at his house. He was very accommodating, responsive and helpful anytime I reached out with a question. I appreciated his availability when needed. We would stay here again, in a heartbeat.
