Property just as described. No issues whatsoever. Everything was clean and functional.
Great location to get away from the crowds on the main island. Practically have the beach to yourself.

Although our weather was unusually warm & wet while we stayed, the split ac units kept us comfortable. This house has a great kitchen, grill and new outdoor shower. It’s our 3rd time in this house. Obviously we love it.

If you enjoy the isolated Chappy Happy beaches this is perfect place for you. The house is fantastic.

Loved, loved, loved the cottage. Decent beds and furniture. Very clean with all the modern conveniences you could possibly need. AC minisplits work great. Never ran out of hot water or towels, both bath and beach. Great outdoor shower. Beach chairs, bikes and sizeable cooler in shed.
Place comes fully equipped with kitchen countertop appliances, cooking and cleaning supplies, as well as, lots of left over papergoods and toiletries From previous guests. I did not need to bring my own kitchen. Lol. Will leave most at home next year. Nice stackable washer and dryer. Did not need to drag trash to road. Bought OSV pass for chappy beaches which was awesome. Bought booklet of chappy ferry passes for the 6 of us which lasted the week. Nice outdoor open and screened deck for night time card games. Lots of privacy. My only suggestion would be a second couch for livibg room. Otherwise, place was perfect!!! Thanks for a great week!

This property worked perfectly for my husband, myself along with my cousin and his wife. We ate some breakfast and lunch out but cooked great dinners at home. All the extras (kitchen and bath accoutrements) made living easy!

Great stay on Chappy
For our first time visiting MV this was a great property. The included beach pass was perfect and the beaches on Chappy are amazing. We found one perfect for our kids to swim and play in at Wasque Point. Being so close to Edgartown was great for the evenings and we visited several times for Dinner, Ice Cream and Shopping. The cottage had the basics and more including food and bathroom supplies incase you forgot something. Owner was very responsive to messages and made our first trip to Chappy very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Cute Chappy Vottage
The cottage was small, but such great use of space and so well equipped. Loved the A/C, bikes, beach passes, among many other things. And Michael and Fred we're terrific to work with. Super responsive. We have already booked another week for next summer having left less than a week ago! Dan

Well maintained property on Chappy
We had a great time on Chappy! The hosts were easy to communicate with and responsive in a timely manner. The property is well maintained. We stayed here for 2 weeks in July and the lawn was cut and sprayed for bugs each week. The yard is private and large. The children had fun playing outside. We enjoyed the screened in porch so much and the relaxation of being on remote Chappy. It is about a 5 minute drive to the ferry and about a 20 minute bike ride. There is no store on Chappy so you must plan ahead for provisions. We grilled on the back deck many nights which was nice. Cottage had a nice breeze but AC units are installed if needed. The property is nicely decorated and clean. East beach / bridge is a short bike ride or drive, it is beautiful! Would recommend this property if you wish to be in a more remote location out of town. Would definitely book this vacation home again!

Beautiful cottage
A warm and welcoming cottage on Chappy. Visiting the island is all about enjoying nature. This was a great place to come back to after bike riding, fishing, hiking, and beach going. The hosts have thought of everything, down to the small touches - from board games to local beach passes. Five stars. A really great place.

Lovely stay on Chappy
My family and I recently returned from our trip to Chappaquiddick. The house is very nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is well outfitted. We splurged on the OSV pass and loved bringing the car onto the beach - it made beach trips fun and easy! It was especially nice to have some much space to enjoy just to ourselves. Trips into Edgartown were possibly easier than driving in from areas on the mainland. The ferry was great! Thank you to Michael for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful cottage
We spent a wonderful week on the island and could not be any happier with our stay. The cottage is located in a nice neighborhood but feels very private. It has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay to a full extent. There bikes and beach chairs available for use. The kitchen is fully equipped and couch and beds are comfortable.
Will definitely be back in the future.
Michael was very responsive and available for questions.
Thank you for a great stay.

Cottage on Chappy
This was our first experience using a VRB. We were very happy with the cottage. It was spotless and had everything we possibly could have needed. We walked the trails and found beautiful fields and water views. East beach, mytoi garden and the on-time ferry were close by. We had a wonderful time!

Great week at the beach!
Terrific updated property with all that you would need to spend the weekend at the beach. Loved the fact that they also had pass to access Trustee beaches for free Good alternative to the hustle and bustle of Oak Bluffs and convenient ferry ride to Edgartown. Would definitely stay again.

Very happy on Chappy.
The house was clean and welcoming; communication with Michael was easy and his responses prompt; neighbors were friendly and helpful. The house had a generous supply of towels and linens. The screened in porch was lovely for reading and playing board games. We are “Chappy” people, loving the quiet and the beautiful beaches. We are coming back next summer!

Peaceful
The house is impeccably clean and modern with a classic Vineyard feel. Property is peaceful and serene and equipped with every item you may need especially if you've forgotten something. Loved sitting on the screen covered porch. Michael and Fred were easy to deal with and helped us with car ferry tickets which was wonderful! Chappy is a peaceful paradise. We wound up taking the ferry back and forth more than we had expected - $25 round trip (4 passengers and 1 vehicle) adds up if you do it daily but for a simple trip to Edgartown for dinner or shopping no car is needed. We like to explore so needed the car for a few day trips around the vineyard. You get the hang of things pretty quickly. My daughter even did parasailing in Vineyard Haven. The little Chappy store is adorable but doesn't offer a lot. Came in handy for morning muffins, coffee, iced tea, ice cream and smores supplies. Love to support a local place like that! We stayed with our chihuahua and he loved the house as well! We were able to take him onto the beaches in Chappy no questions asked. A treat to be able to take your dog to the beach in summer! A wonderful stay overall.

It was Perfect.
To sum it up in one word - perfect! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House had everything we were looking for, we particularly enjoy the screened in porch for games and movies. Michael was fantastic host, quick to answer our questions and a pleasure to work with. We hope to be out there again next year.

Perfect small cottage - better than expected!
We really enjoyed this tastefully decorated house. Perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 small dogs. Kitchen had everything one could ask for when cooking. Chappy is very quiet in September. We like that.

The perfect cottage for a family to retreat in who’s looking to be away from the hussel of town.
As first timers on Chappy we didn’t know what to think or expect. This cottage may not be for everyone but it was perfect for us. The cottage lies on a dead end road, relatively selcluded from its neighbors. There are beaches to enjoy and we luckily came with a truck and were able to buy the over land pass to drive the miles of sand beaches. The pass is pricey - $200, but well worth it for beach goers and fisherman. A short drive in the evenings brought us back to the Chappy ferry and able to enjoy Edgartown for dinner and ice cream - yet retreat back to our secluded cottage. The cottage has everything you need. Forgot a bar of soap, shampoo, maybe sand which bags - don’t fret Michael made sure you’re taken care of. The outdoor shower helps keep the sand out and the cottage clean, and if you want to do your vacation on the cheap the kitchen and outdoor grill are more than equipped. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. I will never stay in Edgartown or Oak Bluffs again... this is my new home away from home.
