Had a great time staying here. The home was everything that was advertised. Will definitely stay here again.

Property condition spotless. Very clean. Seemed like it had been recently remodeled completely. Two bottles of wine awaiting our arrival. 25 minutes from DuPont State Forest lake imaging parking lot and 15 minutes from Ride Kanuga bike park.

Property is exactly as advertised on the listing. It was impeccably clean, nicely updated, and exactly the right size for a family of 4 for a weekend getaway. It felt very welcoming and cozy. The turn into the street where it's located does look a little run-down, but the property itself is not. We felt perfectly safe being there. It was an easy drive to everything we wanted to do; downtown Hendersonville, Blue Ridge Parkway, all the apple orchards. Grocery store and very tasty pizza place (Uncle Scott's) were less than 5 minutes away.
My only (very, very mild) complaints were that the fireplace didn't seem to function, and while we texted the given number about it, we never received a reply. The other thing is that there were 4 guests staying at the property, but we were only given 2 washcloths, and couldn't locate more. But since this was only a 2-night stay, we made it work. :)

Nice quiet property, easy check-in and the property owners were helpful with a minor pet situation. The property is 20min from DuPont trails and 40 min or so from downtown Asheville. Recommend and will stay again.

House was nice. Comfortable inside.
Not the best neighborhood. Found glass and bullets in the yard.
If you are traveling with a handicapped or elderly person, very hard to go up and down the rock steps. And they had throw rugs everywhere which I took up so my sister did not trip. The large one in the living room could use some grips, as it slides around. I ended up pitting boxes on the corners.
My handicapped mentally sister accidentally took to Roku remote and they told my 17 year old that she could not leave without giving it back, which shook her up as she was only there because we had to load our kayak and I hurt my shoulder and couldn’t don it. I don’t know who it was that was there, but they scared her enough that she was crying when she called me. I found the remote in my sister purse, she thought it was hers (again, she has a brain injury). Simple misunderstanding could have been solves without the drama.
I am really not trying to bash here, this is my first negative review after 11 stays at other VRBO homes. I should have really researched better, so I take some blame for not asking more questions about accessibility for a handicapped person.
I hope this helps someone.

Nice stay
We enjoyed our stay. The house is well cared for and thoughtfully appointed. The beds were very comfortable, we had plenty of hot water and the living area was graciously roomy.
