The cottage was very cosy and clean throughout. The beds were extremely comfortable to sleep in and hardly any noise from passing traffic, so a good night's sleep was had. The bathroom was roomy and very modern and there was everything you'd need in the kitchen.
We couldn't park directly out front so parked at the nearby pub and the actual cottage took us a while to locate as it's tucked down the side of another cottage. I had to ask a neighbour where it was in the end. The cottage is lovely but we did miss a table of some kind to put our drinks on and for playing family games together, otherwise it's a fab place to stay.

The property was well presented, very quaint, clean and tidy , everything as described. Perfect for a peaceful getaway if you just want to chill and relax.
Nothing really not to like, perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet in a small village setting . No garden as such if you want to sit out.

Location and cleanliness
The memory foam mattress was turned over so we didn't sleep on the memory foam but the wrong side... Which was a tad uncomfortable and did give me back pain in the morning.

Very modern, lovely decor. Immaculate and clean. Log burner was a huge bonus and made it feel so cosy.
Nothing.

clean and tidy. perfect for small family
Everything was fine except the key code that was given in the confirmation email was incorrect. we spent 15 minutes in panic to try and open the key safe until I decided to call on the number given. Gentleman on the phone resolved the issue quickly but if we were trying this late in the night or if the call was unanswered, could have been a disaster.

Nice clean house in a quiet lovely area, check in was easy with code and the owner is helpful with any questions. Will be staying here again if I am anywhere near this location.

The property was lovely - location was great. A lovely pub a one minute walk away called The Fielden Arms. Cottage was very cosy and comfortable. The bed especially were so comfy! All amenities needed in the kitchen for us to make ourselves tea and breakfast :) the bathroom was lovely! loved the shower. Milk was left in the fridge which was a great help to us as we’d forgotten ours! Cottage was a really decent size, two lovely bedrooms the living room was lovely. I fell in love with the bedding in the bedrooms so much so that I’ve ordered it for my own house!! the host even let us check in slightly early which was fantastic. We would 100% come again.
I would say the only real issue we had was with the downstairs blinds, we couldn’t figure out how to close them at all and one window in the living room was missing a blind which looked out on to the main road so we were conscious people could see in the cottage when walking by. There was also no soap or anything in the bathroom so would recommend bringing your own - there was also not much wood for the fireplace which was a shame because it kept going out and we eventually ran out of wood completely. the cottage was quite cold (not unexpected in December) and the fire helped with that so it was a shame when we could no longer use it. the door on one of the bedrooms was also broken so it didn’t close however the host had left a cute little doorstop to be used to keep it closed. :)

Good location, could park directly on the road outside and had character with log burner. Wood provided after asking the owner.
The property wasn’t very clean and could do it a thorough clean, misplaced blinds, utensils dirty and tea towels. TV not working and texted and phoned host who said they would sort it or send help to fix it however did not hear anything again and problem not rectified.

Could not quite figure out the shower temp. Was so hot!

A cosy and comfortable cottage in a peaceful and picturesque area with convenient car parking.
No toilet paper and some sort of table and chairs for dining upon would have come in handy.

deco was to our taste…
no heating on on arrival….very cold.
no firelighters, kindling or coal to get log burner going.

Travelled with friends, cottage was a base as we were going to a friends birthday party. Beds very comfortable, spotlessly clean and all facilities we needed. Would definitely recommend.

The big TV screen and Netflix is great for our stay.
Kitchen facility is good for simple cooking.
We need to swing the key a few times to unlock. The lock needs to be changed
The curtains are falling off
The room and bed is small for 1 couple. The stairs to the 2nd floor is narrow.
There is no table for a meal

Called the owner as lock on front door was faulty. Whole framework for lock would not fit in the door. Think the owner tried to rectify this but the lock again did not fit in the door. The joiner was supposed to attend but was only booked for the day we left. The evening before departure one guest had to stay in the house whilst the others went out. Also the door was unlocked during the night whilst guests were sleeping

Comfortable, well looked after property
