We needed to stay over only as had a private function in Blackburn . The check-in was very easy, short and informative . A clean relaxing room. Breakfast was okay, maybe better presentation of the hot food in particular would have been appreciated.

How can a hotel that advetises it has a restaurant do so when they never have anything available? Wednesday night they had run out of half the menu, Thursday night they could only do a pizza. What kind of hotel runs out of till roll and does nothing about it? Why can't business travellers get a VAT receipt? Where else runs out of orange juice for breakfast service on Wednesday and can't get any by Friday? Surely just run to tesco or costco. This is a very poorly managed example of an already bad brand. Rooms are ok but menus are limited even before they run out of everything. I will need to have zero other options before I use a Hampton again

Business overnight stay. Placed in room for wheelchair user - not sure why? Everything was therefore low down, sink, bed etc. No soap dispenser next to either sink. Curtain hanging off slightly, wouldn’t close. Told reception. No offer of remedy. Shower was not really very hot and only medium power. Bedside table sticky not clean. No eggs at breakfast. Plates cold. Staff fine. Hotel looks great. Staff pleasant enough. Nobody asked me how my stay was on checkout. Price reasonable but overall disappointing.

On arrival, staff were pleasant and helpful. In the corridor was dirty crockery left by previous tenants. The room was sold as two queen size when the 2nd bed was a very hard sofa bed and even with two duvets was still very uncomfortable. A old bottle of wine was found under the bed and the kick boards came off which hurt my foot. Breakfast was mediocre For the cost of the stay, this was a disappointing visit.

The location was lovely and quiet, room was lovely and comfortable . I was disappointed with the breakfast, not much choice of cakes/pastries and what little there was always ran out and was not topped up. They were slow in replacing cups and saucers, one morning there was no milk an no staff anywhere in sight!

Our room was dirty and cramped. Blood on the curtain etc. breakfast was awful. Queued for 30 mins and no hot food except a half cooked sausage.

Only cheese pizza was on the menu that night, nothing else. Very poor indeed for a very large hotel and so lovely. Staff we nice but this did not change the fact that we needed to go somewhere else for dinner.

Very poor breakfast. Facilities and staff couldn’t cope when busy. Guests were waiting for hot food and when it came was undercooked. Which is a pity when the rest of the Hotel was OK

Rooms nice with good facilities. Hotel reception and eating area modern pleasant and clean. Breakfast was average. Beans were cold, cups and glasses ran out. Food ran out, as did cutlery. Not enough staff to clear up or refill empty drinks, milk in coffee machine etc. Buffet area very small for number of people.

Stayed before and will again, only thing thats lets it down is the buffet breakfast, very little choice, they let the beans, plum tomatoes get down to bare minimum and dried before replacing, only scrambled eggs, which again weren't the best, it is included in the price and it shows. We were down more than an hour before end of service Shame really as everything else is good

Stayed two nights with friends because we were attending a wedding. Great property and hotel staff were charming and welcoming. However, I did not like the hotel’s location. The hotel has in house dining but limited food choices. There are no restaurants or shopping centers close by. For foods, there is KFC, a Starbucks to go, and Subway in the gas station shop.

We had a comfortable stay and the hotel did well to accommodate us to keep the 3 rooms on one floor, as well as fixing the AC issue. However, the breakfast was uninspiring. Very basic. Of course was not expecting much for Hampton on Hilton, but the fact the coffee machine was not working was very disappointing. No latte, no cappuccino, just basic. The second morning we went across the road to the Chai Wala to get breakfast. Otherwise a nice stay and helpful staff members.

A really nice hotel unfortunately my trip was spoilt due to service. Was awoken by guests returning from a night out. The noise carried on so reported to reception, they sent security up but they did nothing. Phoned again an hour later and reception phoned the room next door. It still didn’t help. Contacted hotels.com and they didn’t do anything. Spoke to reception in the morning, said they would be in touch and haven’t. Hotels are getting more like this and nobody wants to seem to help.

Lovely hotel, but beware that when you get there you HAVE to pay £100 deposit for your room Ontop of what you have already paid, this is to cover any damages that might take place, you dont get your deposit back for at least a week after leaving

Parking was easy and convenient. Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Blackburn - felt safe and was quiet location. Rooms were very ckean and well decorated. Bathroom was very clean. Check in was easy. Staff all seemed very nice.

Hotel was ok but service and food not so good. Very limited menu which is probably microwaved and food quality and portions very poor. Asked for the cheeseburger and it arrived without the cheese so waiter took in back to get the cheese and returned a couple of minutes later with it steaming hot as it had obviously been in the microwave. The meal was totally tasteless and presentation was nil ( see pic ) breakfast was a total shambles with the hot buffet running out of food and not getting topped up at regular intervals. I eventually got some breakfast and a cuppa but forgot my knife and fork so went to get them but when I returned to my table the waitress had taken my food and brew so had to start again. I won’t be staying again !!!!

Comfortable, clean room. My only negative was that a plug socket was installed slightly on the lean. Didn’t stop it working!
