About this house rental
Bring your friends or family to our newly renovated Sunshine Escape in Hernando Beach on Florida's Gulf Coast. Located on a Canal with direct Gulf access. Our home is located on a quiet cut de sac. Sit out on our covered patio or fish or swim off of our brand new floating dock. Close to marina, boat ramps, minutes to local dining, shops, Weekee Wachee Rivers, and parks. Close to Hwy 19, about an hour to Tampa Airport and 1.5 hours from Orlando Airport.
Newly renovated 2 bedroom 2 bath home on the Hernando Beach Direct Access Canal.
LIVING ROOM has a large sectional sofa that reclines with the ability to technically sleep 2 more people even though it is not a sleeper sofa. Living Room also has a large Samsung Smart TV and board games if there is a rainy day. We do have CABLE and WIFI but you can also stream on our Smart TV. We also have a desk in the Living Room for a dedicated workspace.
KITCHEN is FULLY stocked with plates, cups, silverware, blender, Keurig coffee maker, waffle iron, griddle, mixer, pots and pans etc. Our fridge has an ice maker and water dispenser (we regularly change the water filter).
BUTLER'S PANTRY has everything you need. Bar glasses, wine glasses, cocktail shaker, and beverage fridge.
There is a stackable Maytag washer and dryer.
1ST BEDROOM has a Queen Size bed and dresser.
2ND BEDROOM has a King size bed, dresser, and floor length mirror.
1ST BATHROOM has tub/shower combo, large vanity, toilet and towels for your stay.
2ND BATHROOM is a shower stall, toilet and sink.
DINING ROOM has a round table with 4 chairs.
Guests do have GARAGE ACCESS and has 2 Adult size bikes, helmets, 2 fishing polls, 4 folding beach chairs, beach toys, 2 kayaks and life jackets in various sizes.
BACK PATIO has two chairs, two love seats and a grill. Patio near water has four chairs and a fire pit.
Lit step down SEAWALL has space for chairs and 4 Adirondack chairs are stored in the garage. You can sit and watch the sunset, fish, or watch all of the fish swim by. THERE IS NO FENCE BY THE WATER.
NEW DOCK off the seawall. Recently installed floating dock with a ladder for swimming. Or BRING YOUR BOAT or RENT ONE NEAR BY. Our dock can accommodate a boat up to 24 feet.
We provide one large bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth per guest and one beach towel per guest. Each bathroom has a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispenser. We provide 4 dishwasher pods, 4 washing machine pods, hand soap, dish soap, 8 K-Cups for the coffee maker with sugar and Splenda packets, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and 1 paper towel roll.
Guests have full access to the property. Guests will receive a code for the front door that will expire upon check out. Guests do have access to the garage with the exception of any storage bins.

Quiet coastal neighborhood. Home is located on a cul de sac. Home is located minutes from Restaurants, Weekee Wachee River, Pine Island, Pederson Park, and Rogers Park. We are about a half mile from all local restaurants. About 10 minutes from Hwy 19 for additional dining and stores. This is a very quiet neighborhood so no parties.
Driveway for parking NO PARKING ON THE STREET. There are two bikes located in the garage.
FAST Wifi, cable, full size fridge and beverage fridge. Kitchen is fully stocked for your enjoyment. Very QUIET neighborhood and home is located on a cul de sac. Boat Rentals are available nearby at the Marina and there are plenty of boat ramps for the kayaks at the different parks in the area. Additional kayaks can be rented locally.

We loved every minute and didn't want to leave. They had everything we needed for our little family of 3. The house was stunningly clean and fully stocked with all kinds of fun things. We loved the games, kayaks, dock, grill, etc. We will be back for sure!!

We had a short stay for an extended family gathering with my spouse and siblings and this property was perfect. The amenities were comprehensive and very nice. Working with the host was a pleasure. We hope to come again soon for a longer stay.

We had a short stay for visits to area attractions from Tarpon Springs to Crystal River. The house was immaculate and filled with thoughtful amenities and add one that made it a truly wonderful place to stay.

This is a wonderful gem hidden in Hernando Beach. Recently remodeled in a quiet cul-de-sac with access to kayaks and bikes to explore during your relaxing vacation. You have your own gazebo and “private beach” in the form of beautiful Florida sand and comfortable lounge chairs right in your own back yard. We have rented many VRBOs in a variety of places and this one is spotless! There is absolutely nothing missing that you would need in this beautiful home. The homeowner is very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

This was one of the cleanest properties that we have ever stayed in and I am a stickler for cleanliness. My husband and I travel quite frequently so we have been in and out of many rental units.
Not only that, the neighborhood was very quiet and safe.
The house is decorated beautifully with plenty of storage to stretch out. Highly recommend if you are in the area. We will definitely rent again as we have family close by.

From fishing off the dock, kayaking down the canal to relaxing in the gazebo it has it all.

My husband and I have stayed at a lot of VRBO places. This one was by far our favorite . The owners were very responsive to all of our needs. Check in and check out were very easy. The place is exactly as it is advertised. It is decorated so adorable. Felt like we were in a beach place. We enjoyed using the kayaks, fishing poles, and bicycles. Couldn’t ask for a better place.

The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful! The host was beyond east to deal with and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area!

This place was incredible! Like most of the previous reviews, the pictures are great but being there was even better. Everything was as stated. We had such a relaxing time at the end of busy days exploring Weekie Wachee , Crystal River and Homosassa Springs. We kayaked on the canals several times. It was too hot this weekend to take advantage of the fire pit but we did hang out under the gazebo and enjoyed the view of the canal The house was felt so inviting inside. The decor was perfect. I hope to stay again next time we travel down that way. The owner was easy to contact, although we really didn't need anything because they already seem to anticipate every need.

The property is just as explained. It was perfect for everywhere we had to be. It was nice to come back after the days events and sit by the canal and relax. Corinne was very easy to reach and answered all my questions. Wish we would have been able to stay longer. Definitely will stay again when we are in the area again.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The location is perfect for easy access to the gulf via boat or kayak. Our kids loved paddling out to the end of the canal and seeing manatees and dolphins. The beds were comfortable, and even the couch too. Our sons chose to sleep there over the bedroom! Would love to stay again next time we're in town.

The pictures do no justice. This place had everything plus more! It was hard to decide, do we stay in or stay in the back area island retreat.. it was absolutely beautiful!! If you're staying in the area, this is the place!

Very clean and wonderfully relaxing home. Everything you could possible need for your stay! Great outdoor seating areas, one even with a fire pit, along the canal right at the backyard! Kitchen is well supplied with nice cookware, dinnerware and gadgets for cooking a quick or a gourmet meal! The appliances are very nice. A very comfortable night's sleep awaits you in the two bedrooms! Everything nice to say about this home!

This rental has been completely remodeled. Everything is new.
The owners are very renter friendly. Have everything you need for a short stay. Great outside sitting on the back porch or under the gazebo and enjoying the firepit. They have clear instructions on the property usage, family games for kids to adults, outside yard games, gas grill for BBQ. Have kayaks to use if you want to also.
Many very good eating places and plenty of spots to enjoy the gulf sunsets, or just relaxing on a beach that's a short drive away. We also had a day at Sea World. Close to what you want to do secluded enough to enjoy some quit time. We will use it again.
Had some of the best communication from the host making sure we had everything we need. Fast easy check in and check out.

On arrival,both bikes had flat tires,so a little DIY right away to pump them up. Also,a heads up….even with roaming on your phone, you cannot make calls or message from this location in Hernando Beach.
Quite frustrating. Not the owners fault…a common issue there…but renters beware. Otherwise,except for some inclement weather, great restaurants nearby and lots to see and do.

This house was perfect for our 4 day getaway, and would also be nice for a longer stay. It was one of the best stocked houses I've stayed at...plenty of cooking utensils, cute dishes and a bar area with plenty of glasses. Plenty of sitting area outside under the gazebo by the floating dock. Corrine was always quick to respond (within minutes usually) to any questions I had both before and during our stay. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

We were delighted when we arrived at the property. Modern, yet classic beach house greeted us. The kids were delighted with the decor and how "pretty" it was. We were thrilled with the outdoor space, it was more than the pictures did justice. Lots available to us to use, always appreciate real plates and silverware and some cooking essentials you just take for granted. We only had a quick weekend stay, but it could easily be a place you hang out for a while in.

A perfect gem of Hernando Beach
What a lovely stay at this VRBO property! Everything we needed was in the house (and more), it was well decorated and clean. We visited for a weekend of scalloping, and the boat club we utilize was a quick 3 min drive from the house. There was a propane grill which we used for dinner and all of the dining essentials were available to us, including serving trays. The outside area was nice and relaxing as well. The entire stay was very enjoyable. No one was complaining, but there were only 2 beds as the posting says, and the sofa available. The sofa does not pull out into a bed. It was perfectly fine for our group of 6, but if others are looking for more privacy or comfort, be advised. We really enjoying scalloping in Hernando Beach and will absolutely rent again. It’s a perfect house and location.

A hidden gem...
We enjoyed our stay at this super cute and cozy home away from home. The owners were meticulous in every detail to ensure their guests are well taken care of. We drank coffee on the porch in the mornings while watching a mommy duck and her ducklings swim around the canal. At night we sat outside and fished with the fishing poles there for guests to use. The beds were so comfy that we after a long day of exploring we drifted right off to sleep. The owner was an exceptional host and very responsive to our communications. I’d definitely recommend this hidden gem!!
