A delightful experience to make my spirits soar and make me look forward to the rest of my trip.

Beautiful rustic barn with all the modern facilities needed for a fabulous stay. Parking right next to the barn was another welcome bonus. Absolutely spotlessly clean - lovely touch with the fresh eggs. Plus there were cereals, milk, biscuits - all the ingredients for a good, healthy breakfast. Gary felt like a long-lost friend - took me for a gorgeous walk through his beloved farm. Loved to hear the deep, sincere passion in his humble voice when he spoke of the his pet animals, the wild creatures that visit the farm seasonally, and everything that is so great about the unspoilt, natural world that he lives in and takes care of. The quaint little villages, the peaceful countryside and the hardworking, humble, polite and friendly country folk are the attributes that put the "Great" into Great Britain - it is not the Monarchy or the bigwig, scallywag politicians, hedge-fund managers or investment bankers - and nobody epitomises that country warmth and humility better than Gary and Kim Bond. A perfect base for any single person or a couple wanting to explore the surrounding villages and parishes - Could not recommend this venue more highly.

Excellent place to run away or as a work base!

The place was very comfortable, super clean and private. I was traveling by car and there was no problem with parking. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. On the property there is an option to be close with nature - goats, chickens, ducks and some wildlife. Near by there is good place to eat if you want a bigger meal and dinks. I will definitely come again whenever I'll have an opportunity.

There is most kitchen appliances that you need - a kettle, a toaster, a fridge and a microwave, I was just missing a small stove, because microwaved eggs are not the best ;) but I totally bet that it can be a fire hazard.

Nice quiet location

Check out time not clearly stated. On the website it says between 6am - 11am and on the evening I have double check to make sure I leave on time but then owner knocked at 10:15 to say that checkout is at 10am. Aa much as I was pleased with the welcome time, the leaving time took excitement away as I was planning to have a morning coffee at the little balcony. And if I would have know, I would get up earlier. Book which is left at the property also doesn’t saying check out time so I went with what is on the website.

Very comfortable and clean. Facilities are perfect for a short or longer stay. The rural location was just what we hoped for and the garden and field with the goats and ducks was an amazing experience. The balcony was lovely to sit and have a relaxing drink before retiring for the night. The bathroom was clean and practically perfect for us to freshen up.

Not much really. I honestly can’t say we didn’t like anything !

Relaxing ,chilled out and very enjoyable . Just what we needed .

We liked our friendly welcome . The appartment was really cosy and the area was really quiet and lovely view as soon as you walked out the front door . The continental breakfast was really good with few added extra s that Kim and Gary had left in the room for us .

The only thing we would say is it would have been good to have had a bit more hanging space for our clothes . Maybe cupboard with couple drawers or few more hooks on wall on bathroom wall for instance .

Everything was perfect. Very welcoming and friendly hosts, who recommended us all the walking routes around. The barn was spotless, with everything you needed, really nice breakfast with fresh eggs from their ducks and chickens. Very beautiful surroundings, well kept property. Best stay in Oxfordshire

Beautiful location in the British countryside. The hosts were welcoming from the minute we arrived and couldn’t be more accommodating. Room was great value for money and the goats, chickens and natural wildlife made it worth getting up that little bit earlier to take in the view. We visit the area frequently to visit friends who live locally but this by far was the best place we have stayed.

Although it was only on o e level the little house had everything we needed and more. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast, especially the fresh eggs, was great.. The whole space was very clean and cosy. We were only sorry we were unable to stay longer on this occasion. We would definitely like to stay sometime again

An absolutely perfect stay with wonderful hosts that went above and beyond

Kim and Gary were the most amazing hosts that any guest could ask for! They were so kind and accomodating to my friend and I during our stay. Kim very kindly let me friend and I have an early check-in so that we could get ready for a wedding we were going to. Gary even dropped my friend and I off at the wedding and at the train station when we went home. The accomodation was so clean, cosy, and comfortable. Despite the weather being cold, the room was nice and warm. The shower was absolutely lovely with great water pressure and got hot right away. And a wonderful continental breakfast for the next day! They were the perfect hosts and I can't wait to come back!

Great hosts Kim and Gary .... Absolutely amazing barn!... So clean I have OCD nothing upset me there even down to the paint work immaculate! So many nice touches... Even a DIY breakfast buffet! They should be very proud of what they have created... Gave us the chance to go out and enjoy the Oxford buzz and sleep in the country best of both worlds thanks Kim and Gary
