not for us and not recommend for the elderly

Whilst a parking permit was included, parking was not adjacent and because of high, fenced pavement access to the lock box was not easy.

Bed. No kitchen. High Bath for shower. Untidy narrow difficult entry passage. Main road location. Fenced pavement. Diffult to stop and unload luggage before having to trundle up untidy cluttered rear passgae.

Exceeded expectations.

Most elegant apartment, in a central location with all the amenities one would require. The apartment has been furnished and equipped in a very co-ordinated manner showing a great of love and attention has been applied to it. Parking was very easy - with a 'virtual permit' supplied by the hosts, and easy to find spaces to park. A very pleasing and lovely apartment - highly recommended!

Lovely & peaceful stay in Sandgate

The courtyard was cute and well thought out. Lovely to relax in, with lights that came on in the evening. Nice to have games to play if weather not great. There was milk on arrival for tea/ coffee 😀.Great bath/shower, with shower gel provided. Lots of storage space. Really everything supplied for a few days away. Great host & very quick replies/ helpful to request. Thank you 😊

Shore thing.

The accommodation is situated close to a pebble beach. A twenty minute walk to the local town of Folkestone. I slept well and had a soak the most amazing bath.🤣

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Shore thing suited my needs for the time that I stayed.

A good stay , perfect location. . Needs a bit more comfortable facilities like sofa and chairs . Sofa bed very basic .

Weekend in Sandgate, with a visit to Dover and Canterbury.

Good communication with host, comfortable bed, and sofas. Warm and cosy and very clean. Well laid out with everything you need. Near to shops and restaurants.

Not the easiest to find , cannot park outside to drop off luggage, could do with a curtain by the outside door as slight draught in bedroom, shower could be challenging if over 5ft 10". My head was against the ceiling. But still worth staying as it's such a nice apartment.

Cozy and comforble stay, minutes to the beach!

Cozy, sweet and the host has put in a lot of effort to make your feel welcome. There was a little gift for us. And she has thought through what the guests would need. There was milk in the fridge and some crisps! Totally out of my expectations. The host is very kind and responsive to messages on Booking.com, which makes me feel very comfortable to book with this property again. It is a one bedroom apartment, but in reality its more like a 2 bedroom. There is a living room, with doors you can shut. Then there is a so called second loving room with dining table, fridge, microwave and a very comfortable sofa bed. It could have done with an induction plate with cooking pans, but as we only stay with a few days. So happy not to do any cooking. Although it is on the ground floor by the main road, it is very quiet in the bedroom and the “second bedroom” where the sofa bed is (as you can shut the door to the living room which faces the road). Overall it is a comfortable stay. The location is very good if you like the beach like myself. It’s literally at your door steps. I ran twice, once to Hythe and the other time to Folkestone harbour. I would highly recommend anyone to book if you’d like to stay at Sandgate.

Well the shower is little difficult to adjust. Its either too hot or too cold. This is something I’d like to see upgrade when I stay next time. Otherwise, its a very comfortable stay and very good value for money. The host Georgina is just brilliant.

The apartment had everything we needed and the location was great. The host was very helpful.

The location was the best bit, 2 minutes from the beach.

The shower. Not easy to control the temperature. There was helpful information in the host's brochure but I still couldn't get it right!

An unexpectedly lovely apartment in a very delightful town with a lovely beach and lots of eateries.

It was a nice size apartment, comfortable and tastefully decorated and with a nice little outside space. It was in a really good location for the beach, places to eat and for travelling around.

Facilities for washing up a little awkward.

Lovely visit to Sandgate

Lovely self catering apartment - very well appointed and convenient for the local facilities and town. There was a charming garden area to the rear. Host was very helpful.

The neighbours were a bit noisy which was unfortunate but did not spoil the stay.
