Large very clean room. Charming hotel.
4.1
Although we booked the smallest room it was big enough for a couple having a short break. Room was clean and bed comfortable.
There was nothing that my wife and I didn't like.
4.1
Charming traditional hotel by the coast with a cosy little pub/bar, good breakfast, free car park, nice owner, great location for Eurotunnel and Dover ferryport
4.1
Good location and very helpful staff
The bedrooms are a good size but a little dated
4.1
Big Bedroom with a bit of a sea view; shower room very good, comfortable bed.
Bar well kept with good beers.
Good position on seafront.
No evening dinners except 1 course on a quiz night.
4.1
Lovely clean rooms, excellent food prepared for us although the kitchen was closed when we arrived.
Am struggling to find fault with thier setup. If I have to be nit picky a hair dryer in the room would have been good.
4.1
lovely pub/hotel. the lovely woman who checked us in and served us behind the bar was a highlight. really friendly and, made us feel very welcome, she’s a bit asset! the room was also perfect for our needs, very clean and a good night’s sleep in a comfy bed.
we were initially worried about how little parking there was, be booked based on the free parking at the hotel but there is only a few spaces and they were full when we arrived. fortunately someone left soon after we’d checked in so we did get a space, but it gave us a little stress working out where we would have to park if a space didn’t become available.
4.1
Very large room with a nice view of the sea and castle. Large bathroom and a kitchen room. Comfy beds.
Car park was full and we had to keep checking for a space.
4.1
Near to party in the evening
Overpriced.No cooked breakfast.

Location of the hotel is perfect. Restaurant and bar is convenient downstairs.
We stayed in January, it might be noisier st peak season
Breakfast was kind of poor. Besides the eggs and the toast, nothing was cooked.
One slice of cheese, one slice of ham and two cut up cherry tomatoes, all cold didn't meet our expectations for the price.
Since the hotel has a restaurant with a full kitchen the breakfast could have been better, or a lesser price tag

We could not have breakfast due to our chunnel departure time. The room was very large, clean with excellent views of the sea and castle. Very enjoyable stay.
Nothing comes to mind.

Very friendly reception staff, who were incredibly attentive. Felt bad about not eating there, but burger food not suitable for healthy vegetarians
Only the menu. Sorry.

Great staff little gem well nice place
Room staff location
4.1
Location was great very close to the beach
Nice breakfast at LOAF nearby
Not a reserved parking space per room
If hotel is in the name I expect a hotel experience. Checking in at a crowded bar is not great
Also noise from the pub til 23.00
Checking out no one was there just a cleaning lady and a box to put the key in
4.1
Location was good
Rough, slightly scary pub. Very aggressive cleaner who barged my partner out of the way and was very abrupt and rude
