With stunning sea views of the whole of the St Davids Peninsula and St Brides Bay from its first floor decking and sun room, the farmhouse is tucked away amongst the trees in the valley above the beach.
This traditional detached stone farmhouse has four comfortable bedrooms, one en-suite, sleeping eight and a shower room on the ground floor where your toes will be warmed by underfloor heating. The first floor living room retains the feeling of a traditional cottage with sofas and armchairs clustered round the wood burner. The modern kitchen/dining room is a large room equipped with all you need and with the dining table close by, meal preparation can be a sociable event, there is also a drying area for clothes, boots and wet suites. The heating system is provided by solar panels and a low-carbon fuel system and the renovation has been done with a focus on sustainability in an attempt to bring an old, loved building into modern use whilst also taking care of the environment. The cottage would always have been a delight, but the additional sunroom and deck transform the farmhouse with a more open contemporary style into something quite unique, the views are delightful on a balmy summer day and dramatic in a winter blow. This is a house for garden lovers with a professionally designed wilderness garden including wildlife habitats.
There is a charming family and pet-friendly hotel, restaurant and bar with rambling coastal garden sitting in an idyllic clifftop location just 15 minutes’ walk away. Broad Haven, with its safe, golden sands is popular for water sports of every kind, and Little Haven, a quaint seaside village with a pretty sandy cove, offer you pubs, restaurants and cafés, a tea room, an art gallery and life boat station gift shop as well as a well-stocked shop/post office.
