The front desk staff were really excellent - great check in - advised us where to park for FREE - plus provided some great dining options.
Good location for walking around.

we stayed here for the week-end. Everything is impeccable. The staff is particularly kind and willing to help. A great address !

The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. Car park was quite expensive at 27 euros but it was secure parking.

Nice location and friendly staff, the parking could be less expensive.

Very good location, room good, staff very helpful and reasonable price.

Very good hotel with a comfortable bet and a balcony. However Our room has a flight of stairs which was not so good at night

Arrived a bit late nd parking was full, which was fine, plenty of parking on the street for free as long as we were out early. Loved the tub, weather too bad to enjoy balcony, room amenities were nice.
1.5
Close to shore and also in a very nice town.
Although I selected the hotel having a parking garage, on arrival we have been told that no parking lot is available. So I had to look out for a public one. As there is a parking garage very close to the hotel it was easy. The is just one constraint that the garage is closed from 8pm to 8am.
During the night we made a very bad experience. At 3am a fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the hotel. Standing out in the night - fortunately is was not too cold and no rain - we did not get any explanation what is going on, just wait and wait. After about half of an hour one guest asked at the reception what is it all about when he was told that it is just a false alarm. The guy was so concentrated to shut of the alarm so he just forgot to inform the hotel guests at all.
When we left the hotel we just received a formal apology. No partial refund or a free breakfast, nothing. This is not very professional at all.

Fantastic, just needs air conditioning

Lovely hotel and great location

Not luxurious but very nice and well-situated. The elevator was broken for our first day, so we had to lug our bags up two flights of stairs. Clean room, pleasant and helpful staff.
2.0
The elevator has been out of order for weeks and will be for long time : it is being replaced. YOUR site does NOT mention it, other sites do, and the hotel reception made it clear immediately .
We accepted a room on the 3rd floor but your site should have posted a warning !

This was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is well located close to the harbor and Deauville downtown and 5 minutes from the train station. Deauville and Trouville (the adjoining town) make a very interested destination, both with wonderful sandy beaches.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, allowing me to try my limited French and replying in French when it was clear I understood rather than cutting me off in English that some similar hotels can do.
My room was clean with a comfortable bed and the situation was what I had requested: quiet location with a nice view if possible. I liked the coffee/tea making and supplies including butter cookies that were replenished for my second night. The buffet breakfast had many choices and was excellent.
My only reservation (that prevents me giving a full 5/5 score) is that there was no comfortable chair in the room, just a desk chair and stool, plus there was no towel rail in the bathroom, just hooks that my towels easily fell to the floor from.

Only stayed for one night - excellent location in the centre of Deauville - lots to do and great restaurants very near. Room a bit small given the cost - however nicely presented
Parking a bit hard - underground parking nearby - otherwise very busy

This was an overnight stay in an area we have visited previously. We were lucky to find a free parking space outside the hotel as we hadn't booked one ahead. You would have had to pay to park on the street or car park otherwise. We walked across the bridge into Trouville for dinner and breakfast so can't comment on the hotel breakfast. The situation of the hotel is quiet but the walls are thin so you are aware of other guests opening and shutting doors. Fortunately there were no rowdy parties so we had a good night's sleep.

Short break with friends .Good hotel very central .Good breakfast .Air condition would be a good idea.

Very close to the railway and bus stations. Some nice restaurants across the river in Trouville.

By no means luxury as rooms are small but more than ok and adequate facilities also reasonable price

iwas expecting more from Mercure Hotel

Our hotel room had a balcony with a drinks table & 2 chairs overlooking the yacht harbour with rolling countryside beyond. Secure parking and easy level walking to shops & beach.

Had a great stay but struggled to find the hotel at first. A couple of flags outside rather than any banner on the hotel itself. Not a luxury hotel but very comfortable and close to the centre with peacefull gardens at the back so choose a rear facing room if you can.

Good introduction to Deauville, nice big balcony but room a bit small. Comfortable bed.

Our first visit to the Mercure Hotel at Deauville exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and view of the port along with a welcome gift of a shoulder bag filled with goodies. The room was spacious, well furnished and equiped, including tea and coffee making facilities, replenished daily. Everything looked new or nearly new. The buffet breakfast is the most comprehensive imaginable and included bacon, egg and sausage, for those that crave an 'English' breakfast. Although situated on the corner of a busy road - Quai de la Marine - with the sliding balcony door closed, it was quiet enough. The rooms have air conditioning provided by a large ceiling fan that also pumps out cold air if required. we chose this hotel because of its location. 5 mins to town centre, 5 mins to seafront and - you've guessed it - 5 mins across the bridge to Trouville where the shops and restaurants are more affordable. This must be our tenth visit to Deauville and this Mercure hotel is the most satisfiying to date. Are there any complaints ?- Well, yes. The hotels private garage parking seems pretty steep at the current rate of exchange, but there is plenty of free parking in the road outside or the large car park almost opposite. Would we go back again ? - Definately.

Nice hotel in the centre of Deauville and beside the Marina. Plenty of on street parking and lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
Excellent boardwalk with swimming pools, tennis and well maintained beaches nearby.
Trouville is just a 5 minute walk across the river where there are a mulitude of restaurants and plenty of seaside activities for children all closeby.

Good location and breakfast fine. Friendly staff at start but certainly nothing out of the ordinary. One member of staff really quite rude, although most were fine. Room very small indeed - generous photos on the Internet. I would not rebook this hotel as I do intend to return to what is a stunning place to visit.

very good hotel, well situated i recomend and will return
