Had a last minute change in travel & they were very accomadating . Clean & neat & Beautiful property

Property is under construction and was not ready for guests to stay there yet

Friendly staff and great food!

The staff at this property made our stay wonderful. The resort is currently under construction, and we had ants consistently in our room. The best part of this stay was being across the street from Minns watersport where we could rent a boat each day and go visit stocking island and the sandbars.

We are staying at a construction site; the window we can look out of faces a construction area. When we go to the pool, we walk through the construction zone with wheelbarrows and noise. It may be that the hotel is being renovated, but we are paying 6,700 DKK (approximately USD 980) for 3 nights. It is deeply disappointing that the hotel is not closed during the renovation. There is so much noise that no one is using the worn-out sun loungers by the pool, where the filtration system is not running most of the time. I'm sure it will be nice one day, but honestly, I feel cheated. We've decided to leave the hotel a day early despite not getting a refund.
The staff is friendly, but that doesn't make up for the rest.

Great all around resort. Will definitely definitely go back.

We were very happy with our recent stay at Peace and Plenty. I will admit that some recent reviews were not good...this was not our experience at all. Check-in was very easy. The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was perfect for what we needed and exceeded our expectations based on other reviews. We had a king bed with ocen view. The room was spacious, clean, updated and fit our needs perfectly. Each day the room was cleaned and water was left. The dining was great. The food and dining staff were all awesome. The pool and outdoor bar areas were very clean and always full with other guest. The Beach Club was awesome. Boat departures and pickup times were clearly communicated. Patrick and his staff are all great people and constantly asking for feedback from guest. Like I previously stated, this was not in any way the experience others have written about. I would highly recommend Peace and Plenty to anyone looking to visit the Exumas.

Pretty decent place but the only good thing i experienced was the transportation to the private beach.

I would not recommend this property. The staff is rude the property is managed poorly. We waited over an hour after we arrive before anyone acknowledged us. The service at the restaurant is horrible. It took 40 minutes to bring us water. Their us opening all around the door. Mosquitoes were in the room. One night there was not water to take a shower before dinner. The a/c definitely will not freeze you out if the room. We were hot every night and we even brought a small fan with us. Many from the hotel were complaining about their stay there as well. Do Not Stay here!!! Book a house on the water. You have to take a boat to the beach since there is no beach here.

This property is nothing like what is pictured. The property is under construction and there are holes all around the property. Our King suite with ocean view was a white room with a bed, tv, chair, “table”, and an old dorm room refrigerator. Our “patio” had two wicker chairs and a small end table. All dirty. The floor out there was dirty as well. There was an excavator to the right working on the building next door. The restaurant was out of almost all food. The bar outside was a joke and the inside bar area looked dark and dingy No staff was at either bar. Looked like we were supposed to make our own drinks. At their one restaurant there were flies literally all over. They were putting chlorine in the pool as we sat at the outside bar. All chairs around the pool are old , dirty, and the cushions were dirty and ripped. There’s NO BEACH! There’s a boat that will take you across the bay to a beach if you want. There’s a schedule you have to follow. Outdoors around the property is a complete disaster. No place to walk or do anything. The Exuma grocery store is a couple blocks away. A 12 pack of bubbly water was $15 USD. Would cost a fortune to get any supplies or food you might want. We checked in Monday night. Left Tuesday morning. Our cab driver told us she takes people from the property all the time to other properties because they are so disappointed with what they show up to. Said the staff lies about what the property is and doesn’t care if you leave. No Refund

While the property itself is okay, the construction noise was relentless. We stayed 2 nights and Sunday and Monday mornings the drilling, banging, yelling and cutting started promptly at 0700 and continued throughout the day. Housekeeping started banging cleaning supplies and having conversations outside our door early. NO towels at the pool on Saturday/Sunday/Monday. Asked for towels Sunday at noon for the beach and was told "oh, they're in the dryer"...waited 30 minutes and never did see a towel. When issues were addressed with management, it was not of importance to her. If you're renovating the hotel, close it! It's a small place and the noise could be heard throughout including dining and poolside. Look elsewhere for the price.

I loved the staff who were very accommodating and the food was delicious, but even more, I really enjoyed the fact that I had the view of the ocean from my bedroom that was spectacular!

Great Resort, clean rooms, friendly staff

Second time staying there and I had the same issue with the room. The room I booked was not available. They offered a room that was less expensive. The staff couldn’t do much other than apologize and said they were going to talk with management. They didn’t offer a credit or anything. But the worse thing was that they didnt even clean the room the 4 days I stayed there.

It was just OK but very expensive

Beautiful location but the staff is not very friendly and they spring a $52 per day “resort fee” on you as you check in with no prior notice. This doesn’t give you any extra amenities. They basically just try and nickel and dime you with extremely expensive drinks and food. The hotel is basically a motel with a pool in the middle. The island, and surrounding islands, are beautiful, but be prepared to just be taken advantage of financially.

We loved that transportation to the beach club is included in the stay. However, the boat service does not start until 11:00 and the last boat is at 5:30 for the return. For us, that was not enough time at the beach. Dining was hit or miss on if they would serve food which was very aggravating. We did dine over at Kahari one night and it was delicious- I would highly recommend that. We enjoyed the sushi at Peace and Plenty. The location of the Peace and Plenty is within walking distance to the grocery store and liquor store as well as the marina so the location is perfect.

Fantastic place to stay with Great staff and a smaller friendly atmosphere. Really enjoyed our time there. Ride over to stocking Island was quick and easy, but also had access to the town for the evenings.

Clean hotel. Our room had a balcony which was very nice-great view of water and some wildlife. Had to get a water shuttle to beach which was ok but just added another step to beach. Staff was very friendly but would have liked to have had more info in the room about services, times, restaurants in the area, etc. Internet was spotty and never could figure out the TV. Grocery and liquor store close by which was nice. Restaurant was okay but times were not posted and menu changed often to which we had no idea until we got there and it was expensive (expected that but still…) The resort fee was also unexpected but we may have missed the small print when we booked. We would stay there again but would also look at other accommodations with beachfront access.

Good island and beautiful beaches

Place is falling apart, wifi didn’t work, AC didn’t in my room, doors are damaged, furniture patio rusted and old… Staff is very friendly but service is so inconsistent, and you find yourself chasing after the basics like beach towels, etc. Beach club is very nice.

Beach was great. Area around hotel not so much. People were very nice.

The noisiest place ever! Rooms have nothing! Beach is a 10 minute boat ride away. Lounge chairs at this place are on a dock with view of shipping area - cargo boats. Staff is rude! Dining is very limited with one restaurant and small menu. Resort is right on Main Street of extreme traffic with much honking! Worst place ever!
2.5
Due to renovations there was no WiFi. No problem because you should be enjoying the island and not worrying about anything else. Shuttle over to other island was great with RJ as your captain. Easy location to be at and walking distance to everything in Gtown. Can’t wait to get back there

The views and the swimming pool are are excellent. The property was und renovation, so some parts we're dirty, but overall, great place to stay. The staff we're very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Well, acceptable as there are no many hotel options in Exuma. The facility it is why it is, but staff, responsiveness, services and cleanliness are at the bare minimum to run the structure.
Also having hot water in the shower was not an easy task.
