The resort was a quiet oasis with beautiful Southwestern colors and architecture. Pleasant pool with a hot tub tight out our door in our coutyard and a larger kids pool in the rear of the resort with slides and a restaurant.

I am currently still at this hotel up at 3am and can't sleep because I have changed rooms 3 times and looked at 4 different rooms and this last one I noticed the door won't lock. This has been the worse place I have ever been to in life. I am traveling with my autistic daughter who was already upset about the multiple changes so when I got her to bed and noticed the door wouldn't lock I decided to just stay awake after being told I didn't know how to bathe and I'm supposed to stand in dirty water let the shower drain then wash my feet off. I wouldn't wish this place on my worse enemy. The only upside is the waterpark I would never recommend this hotel and will advise anyone stay away so not stay here.

Everything was spot on and as advertised.

Booked 4 nights at this "4 star resort" for my daughter and I. It was a repeat stay for me but my memory failed me and I forgot how disappointing it was. I won't be returning.
The carpet was stained, the couch was uncomfortable and stained, the furnishings were "motel" at best. The bathroom was so tiny that the door clears the toilet with a centimeter to spare - meaning you can't open or close the door while you are sitting on the toilet.
The shower did not have any body wash, I had to request housekeeping twice because we kept being skipped.
The bed is about 4 inches from the wall so if you need someone to get out of the bed on each side, that won't work for one of the beds (in the two queen unit).
Our room "pverlooking the pool" (laughable) was the hallway that leads to the room is in front of the pool. Our balcony - which I assumed was where we'd be overlooking the pool - actually overlooked the service alley and was in shadow 24hrs/day.
The restaurant service and food were mediocre at best and we went once and didn't return.
All in all, I regret booking here given how many other choices there are and I won't be returning.

Water was completely out. Sinks, toilets and showers were not working and no real solution was provided for hours. I had to remove a #2 from the toilet to prevent the room from stinking and at least allow the bathroom to be used for #1 and then we left the facility until the evening.
With 2 young children and my wife this was very unfortunate and while facilities issues are understandable no solution or reasonable empathy was disappointing.

Mor info at check-in about hours at water park closing
2.0
The place was excellent. The only thing I criticized is that check-in time is 4pm and water park closed at 6pm. Not much time to enjoy it. Unless you stay for at least 2 nights.

The rooms were old and outdated and the furniture had stains. The AC unit banged and clanked all night waking us up multiple times.

Avoid, especially room 2206. Not a normal Hilton, management asleep at the wheel. No hot water in the shower. Maintainece guy was hopeless, front desk zero help. No attempt to correct things. One restaurant, very basic, bar only certain nights. Moved to another hotel as soon as I could. Plenty of choice in Phoenix so don’t make a mistake.

Place was just ok but everything inside the resort was completely over priced

This hotel is very outdated and under staffed. There are 2 swimming pools with bars, only 1 bar was open but not open everyday. Jenni at the south point pool was amazing. There is signage everywhere for a restaurant/bar that isn’t even open and sounds like it’s been closed since Covid.

The resort is great - a little dated, but it’s clean, comfortable and River Ranch is a blast!

It was such great experience and fun for my kids. Will be back in future for sure.

The place is beautiful and big. And eventhough theres so many rooms their room service is so fast and efficient. The pools are clean and gorgeous and the water park is so fun.

I’ve been a loyal guest at Hilton Resort at the Peak for years, spending thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, my recent visit was far from the excellent experiences I’ve come to expect.
I called a week in advance to confirm my room request made months prior, but it was ignored. Instead, I was placed in a room with a malfunctioning toilet. Each use required calling maintenance, which became frustrating and embarrassing.
By day three, a maintenance worker found tree roots in the pipes and informed me they needed hours to fix it. We left the resort to escape the frustration and returned to find the room covered in debris and feces.
When I raised my concerns, Greg at the front desk was rude and indifferent. Despite having spoken with him before, he seemed unaware and offered no help, only calling housekeeping after I insisted.
This experience was not only disappointing but uncomfortable. For three out of five days, I dealt with toilet problems and returned to a dirty room. While the resort fee was waived, it didn’t address the lack of a functioning toilet or the state of the room.
I hope management reviews this, including video footage of my interaction with Greg, to understand the poor service. I’ve always recommended this resort and hope it returns to the quality that made it my favorite.

We have stayed here before and loved it but this time was disappointing. The room was run down and not very clean. The ice bucket had a liner with melted ice in it and it smelled bad. There was hair, dirt, dust and even a sanitary liner from someone's new bathing in the bathroom. They also advertised In-Room Dining but when we tried to place an order we were told it was no longer offered. When we brought these concerns up to the hotel they brought us a new ice bucket and allowed us a late check out but still charged us for it. We were mainly there for the water park and while it was fun it seemed run down. A lot of the chairs were torn and the areas around the lazy river were sun-bleached and old. The ice cream parlor wasn't open and appeared to be shut down permanently. The bar by the lazy river was also closed. That being said, we ordered food and drinks at the main pool bar and everything was delicious. We also ate at their on-site restaurant and the food was great. We like bringing our family to this property but they need to renovate before we come back again.

The water park being on property was great. The property could definitely use some upgrades and maintenance, the Elevator was broken almost our whole 5 day stay, so that was a little inconvenient. But overall I would definitely stay at this location again.

It was a good stay, the waterpark is just ok. With 2 pools, 1 slide and a lazy river want to much. The rooms are nice, small tv in livingroom and the sofa bed was not good. Quiet area loved that. Enjoyed our stay with the kid but not one i would return to.

Easy check-in, 19+ staff at the restaurant.

I received a text when we checked in asking how our room was and I replied that it was in bad shape. No response after that. We got settled in and it was dirty, furniture was ripped and I took a shower with all 3 bottles on the wall mount empty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash! Worst hotel and vibe all around

We came for my son's birthday and brought a few of his friends. I was told it would $50 more to add any additional wristbands. I got another room instead. The big pool closes at 6 on Saturday and the basketball courts closed for remodeling. The small pool didn't require wristbands and anyone could come in. I feel like for the money that I spent, I could have went somewhere else and had more to do with the boys.

Had a really good time with my adult Daughter. I was a little disappointed upon arrival. It was a little outdated. Other than that it was a great stay.

Great spot. Staff was some of the best I’ve worked with.

Very comfortable and great pools. Fabulous for family fun!

I love to old phoenix feel but there are some issues with the dated factor. None of the plugs in the bedroom worked. Fridge was dirty and tub filled fully during shower.
The staff were great and overall i liked the resort.

I ran out of lotion lock to sliding glass door wasn’t functioning properly
I was told it would be taken care of right away I waited for them but no one showed up
Also desk light needs bulb replaced
The coffee was tasteless

The rooms are nicely laid out. First floor rooms are great and easy access to the pool.

I was excited to go looking at the pics on expedia and their website, but that was false advertising; the room was like a cheap apartment with water damage everywhere, nasty looking carpet and sofa, and their wifi didn't work on the tv! Smallest and dingiest shower and bathroom i've seen in a hotel in years. All very underwhelming. Staff seemed nice though.

My only complaint and it’s not a huge one is we went to enjoy the water park. And it was very crowded as anyone could come in.

What i liked was how close our room was to everything like the water park, the hole in the wall bbq joint (the specialty burger was the best burger ive had in a while). The rooms were nice but a bit outdated the lock on our room got stuck at times. The things i disliked was we paid for the late checkout at 1 and housekeeping woke us up at 9 saying that our checkout was soon but i told her we had late checkout so she left and she came back at around 11:40 saying that we needed to checkout because our time was up but i told her that we had paid for late checkout earlier in the morning but she showed us her phone saying that it said 11am checkout time and gave a bit of an attitude. She said “you can stay late but they're going to charge you another night and accommodation fee if you dont checkout now but you can stay later at your own cost”. Then when we’re getting ready to leave at around 12:30 another housekeeper knocked once and barged in while my wife was changing but immediately apologized and left when he saw me in the living room.

Beautiful scenery, loved the pool & lazy river.

Check in was great. Previously stayed here a month before so we have it another try. It was great until the weather decided to close the pools early. Because of this, there was a party of teenage girls banging every room on the second floor. Security was great taking care of the issue, but when speaking to one of the managers (heavy set male), he was very passive with the situation.

It was a good stay but I feel like there was not enough staff at the pool to help direct and facilitate all the amenities that were available. We ask for directions towards the lazy river and were told to just go down a path got lost and had to keep asking for help. We were not the only customers having problems trying to find the tubes for the lazy river. If you don't organize the breakfast before you book your room they can't help you with breakfast in the mornings which sucks because we were not told about breakfast until after the booking and we tried to fix this through several different methods.

Fun place to unwind, staff was excellent

This was one of the most terrifying places to stay. We tried going to the pool by the check in office and people were drunk, jumping off the roof top, when we called front desk they were so rude and made it seem like we were inconveniencing them because they had to come check it out. We just headed back to our room and stayed there the rest of our staycation :( book in Scottsdale

River Ranch was closed due to lightning but yet I never saw any. That was the main reason I booked it for the night.
