Asked for a quiet room...but got kids running the hallways, doing cartwheels while we were trying to watch a movie in our room...hotel put us above the kitchen where we constantly heard them dumping glass bottles in the outside trash and dropping empty kegs outside...got terrible sleep.

Food servers/cleaners were great. The place is nice looking butrooms were dark and needed updates. Our bathroom had chipped tub areas. Sink leaked water, bathroom door did not have a robe hook( 1st time ever in staying in hotels rooms over 60 yrs) lastly the location was very good but to charge $15 for parking was/is nuts. This property had plenty of parking and no business nor retail was around it, nothing!! I can see if the property is in a congested area on town but nada!!

We were staying for 4 nights for a wedding. Our room was only cleaned once and had to keep asking for towels getting them at 1:30 and had to be at the wedding at 3:30. No trash was emptied along with no clean glasses. Very disappointed.

An excellent breakfast and the room very clean and beautiful.

I booked because it said hot tub on website. Upon checking in, told the hot tub has been down for 2 months. I mentioned a refund and was told i couldn't get one since I used 3rd party to book.
The complimentary reception is a joke- nothing like the pucs of fresh fruit and hot dips. There was crackers, cubed cheese, tortilla chips, jarred salsa and goldfish. I was there for 4 nights and that was it every day!
$15 a day to park your car . I parked on the street.
Dirty dishes in the hallways for days, mold in the bath tub and the windows, feces on the toilet, the ice machine didnt work on my floor, the elevators were slower than i have ever seen- EVER!
When my wallet was stolen, from the common area next to the bar, i was offered ZERO assistance! Found out they have cameras outside the elevators but not down the hallways and not in the common areas or the bar!
Used the restroom off the lobby and while i was using the toilet, person next to me flushed and sewer water started coming up from the drain in the floor- with human waste! I wear flip flips all the time- yes GROSS! Told the front desk and they said they knew- and the bathroom is closed. I said there was no sign and she said they havent had time to make a sign yet!
I won't even mention the stains and rips on the sofa in the room, no maid service even though i was there 4 nights, no soap in dispenser in the shower or that the fridge froze any food put in it!
I told them the ac in the room didn't work- they DID fix that.

There was an excellent hot buffet and made-to-order omlette station for breakfast, which was included in the room rate. There was also a nightly reception with 2 free drinks per person in the atrium lobby bar area. Front desk staff was very friendly. Parking was easy and convenient, but cost $15 per night. The noise in the atrium can get a bit loud and heard from the rooms, which is unavoidable since all room are off of the atrium. The doors to the rooms slam shut, which is also very loud, especially to anyone sleeping in the pullout sofa in the front room.

Great rooms and great distance from the city. A quick drive but easier access than a hotel in the city.

The staff was friendly and professional; however, we had to check in manually due to the internet being down. As a result, our extra room keys did not work and we had keep informing the staff that the room keys were not working. The suite was nice and clean. The breakfast was fantastic as we had many options to choose from!

Charge for early check in, it was 12:30. My first time being charged for early check in. Not worth the price for the condition of the hotel, the room is dirty, there are still food crumb on the table, will not stay here again.

Overall a pretty good stay, we stay with embassy suites often at several locations and have had a great overall experience. This embassy wasn't as good as all the others we have stayed. Staff was very friendly, and breakfast had good options and service. But the hotel itself has some issues as far cleanliness, and things not being in service. Definitely need to work on the cockroach issue..... Overall still give a 6 out of 10

Breakfast was fabulous! Dinner was great too. We arrived midday and there is nothing at all on property for lunch. Without a vehicle it’s a decent walk to local Northpoint and an Uber away from other restaurants and cafes. We had a very early start in San Diego and flew to San Jose and took an Uber to get here so we were tired and hungry. Flights were being cancelled due to Microsoft outage so we had no other way of getting to San Raphael.
May I suggest a takeaway sandwich would have fitted the bill.

The mattress and the bedding were so soft. The room was clean and big. The breakfast was so good, and lots of variety. Everything was nice. You have to pay $15 per car per night to park even though they have plenty of spaces.

The washer didn’t work. After a long wait a staff member tried to fix it, but couldn’t right away. He was very apologetic. Eventually, it was fixed after 3 hours of waiting.
There was a piece of trash behind the entry door. We were not told that there was a $15.00 parking fee, so we were surprised at that.

The Breakfast was outstanding ♥️

The stay was good overall. Very good breakfast and services. The major downside is that we were staying there because we were vendors at the Marin Fair.
We made our reservations through the app which were around 1,500 dollars for 6 nights. We received an email offer from the hotel themselves that they would offer a huge discount to vendors and it would have saved us about 500 dollars. However, NEITHER Hotels . com OR Embassy Suites would refund us the difference.
Absolutely horrible.
We will NEVER book through Hotels . com ever again and we strongly advise others to do the same. Embassy Suites could have given us a cash rebate but chose not to do so.
Both places lost future business and I will post this review everywhere. There is only ONE WAY to make this right and that is to honor the vendor discount and refund the difference.
THEY ALREADY SAID IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Disgusting business practice

Liked my 5 day stay over a 4th of July weekend. Breakfast was good but ran out of items because of the full hotel. Lobby after the evening before showed signs of lack of cleaning. On Friday night, there was a wedding reception right under rooms well after 11p. Bass was vibrating walls.

Wonderful stay with our 2-year-old. He loved the glass elevators and pretty courtyard. We loved the hearty breakfasts and happy hours. Convenient drive to everything we wanted to see, like Stinson Beach and the Academy of Sciences. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free parkinf helped.

The front desk person didn’t even look up when I approached the counter. She made me stand there for a long time, until I said “hello.” She didn’t smile. Looked annoyed. I’m used to hotel staff with a much friendlier demeanor.

I forgot my electric toothbrush in the bathroom and I had been calling many times to front desk, they told me to contact housekeeper department, I also called housekeeper department and left the message, no one called me back. I’m very frustrated with such bad service.

The 2:00 forced check-in time is absurd.

The customer service was good, the bartender was friendly. My issue has been how they handled issues and after my departure.
The battery to our door dies, which caused our dog to have anxiety because they can hear us but not get to us. The dog scratches the door, we get told it won’t be an issue. Yet to my surprise, with no notification, my credit card gets charged 3 times. I call the hotel, they say call corporate. I call corporate and email, get nothing back. I call the hotel, I get told to call back. A simple courtesy notification would have made all the difference.

It was such a great stay. The corner room had a nice view of the lake and was very quiet. The mother's day brunch was amazing and the staff were so attentive.

This was my second stay! Love the room and atmosphere. Kid friendly and pool was clean.

Out of 5 nights of stay only one day the room was cleaned.
