Love that there's a microwave and refrigerator in the room, without having to ask. Plus, it's pet friendly and there's plenty of space in the room. Nice area for running!

Asked for a quiet room...but got kids running the hallways, doing cartwheels while we were trying to watch a movie in our room...hotel put us above the kitchen where we constantly heard them dumping glass bottles in the outside trash and dropping empty kegs outside...got terrible sleep.

Food servers/cleaners were great. The place is nice looking butrooms were dark and needed updates. Our bathroom had chipped tub areas. Sink leaked water, bathroom door did not have a robe hook( 1st time ever in staying in hotels rooms over 60 yrs) lastly the location was very good but to charge $15 for parking was/is nuts. This property had plenty of parking and no business nor retail was around it, nothing!! I can see if the property is in a congested area on town but nada!!

We were staying for 4 nights for a wedding. Our room was only cleaned once and had to keep asking for towels getting them at 1:30 and had to be at the wedding at 3:30. No trash was emptied along with no clean glasses. Very disappointed.

Classic embassy. Not the newer modern buildings that lack the central atrium and loose that embassy feeling. Great remodel

The room was not clean, shower was dirty and dust and dirt around and behind the furniture. The worm was infested with brown roaches. Not likely due to the area, these were the kind that come with uncleanliness. Being a Hilton honors member this room was a disappointment.

Hotel for mutants...Back in the day this property was very nice - a place we'd have family stay when they visited us in Marin. Today it's a shell of its former self...My wife and I decided to stay in Marin on our way back to LA and I noticed the ES was listed when I looked up "Best Hotels in San Rafael"...well thank God I only booked one night (over $300 btw)...Right when we walked in there was spilled food all over the floor (and there wasn't any doormen to welcome or address the mess that greets guests) but okay not a big deal...then after checking in at what felt like a gas station, we were shocked to find A BOX OF NARCAN someone had left outside the elevator. There was some kind of convention for mutants going on that no other hotel would have welcomed (or at least would have been too expensive for them to book). Had I known this was the level of clientele the Embassy Suites welcomed we never would have stayed. As for the dark, dank room my wife and I were so shkeeved out that we slept on top of the covers - sideways - at the end of the bed just to get through the night. The next day we saved our trip by going straight to the Mill Valley Inn which was the same price but a magical, luxurious experience you'd expect in Marin County. If you like nice things - save yourself from the ick and book somewhere else.

There was an excellent hot buffet and made-to-order omlette station for breakfast, which was included in the room rate. There was also a nightly reception with 2 free drinks per person in the atrium lobby bar area. Front desk staff was very friendly. Parking was easy and convenient, but cost $15 per night. The noise in the atrium can get a bit loud and heard from the rooms, which is unavoidable since all room are off of the atrium. The doors to the rooms slam shut, which is also very loud, especially to anyone sleeping in the pullout sofa in the front room.

I booked because it said hot tub on website. Upon checking in, told the hot tub has been down for 2 months. I mentioned a refund and was told i couldn't get one since I used 3rd party to book.
The complimentary reception is a joke- nothing like the pucs of fresh fruit and hot dips. There was crackers, cubed cheese, tortilla chips, jarred salsa and goldfish. I was there for 4 nights and that was it every day!
$15 a day to park your car . I parked on the street.
Dirty dishes in the hallways for days, mold in the bath tub and the windows, feces on the toilet, the ice machine didnt work on my floor, the elevators were slower than i have ever seen- EVER!
When my wallet was stolen, from the common area next to the bar, i was offered ZERO assistance! Found out they have cameras outside the elevators but not down the hallways and not in the common areas or the bar!
Used the restroom off the lobby and while i was using the toilet, person next to me flushed and sewer water started coming up from the drain in the floor- with human waste! I wear flip flips all the time- yes GROSS! Told the front desk and they said they knew- and the bathroom is closed. I said there was no sign and she said they havent had time to make a sign yet!
I won't even mention the stains and rips on the sofa in the room, no maid service even though i was there 4 nights, no soap in dispenser in the shower or that the fridge froze any food put in it!
I told them the ac in the room didn't work- they DID fix that.

Great rooms and great distance from the city. A quick drive but easier access than a hotel in the city.

The staff was friendly and professional; however, we had to check in manually due to the internet being down. As a result, our extra room keys did not work and we had keep informing the staff that the room keys were not working. The suite was nice and clean. The breakfast was fantastic as we had many options to choose from!

Charge for early check in, it was 12:30. My first time being charged for early check in. Not worth the price for the condition of the hotel, the room is dirty, there are still food crumb on the table, will not stay here again.
