It was for all family to enjoy

The place is kid friendly with kid water parks and indoor swimming pools. You can walk from the hotel beach to the Cancún sign (500m away), and close to Luxury Avenue. The buffet is just okay, but the restaurants that you need to make reservation for dinner are good.

We visited the Crown during off season. There was construction nextvto the main pool. It really didn't affect us at all. The adult pool was a nice place to go and had views of the lagoon. Japanese restaurant was closed our entire stay. We had a club room with accesa to the club lounge. This is a great place to have breakfast with a ln amazing view. It also was a bar from 6pm to 11pm. This was the only air conditioned place to get a drink. The staff all around was excellent. Jerry and Carlos in the lounge always made you feel special. Veronica at the lobby bar was always eager to get you a drink. Ruby and lupita at the main pool were my favorites. They always made sure my cup was never empty. Sebastian at the adult pool bar does well being solo. All and all I would stay again and upgrade to crown club rooms again. Our room was cleaned and our mini bar filled daily. We tipped everyone that helped us during our stay. But even when I was floating around the pool. Didn't have anything to give the ladies. It didn't stop them from dropping off a refill. The staff here in my opinion are great. Even as you could tell they are short handed.

If I can give zero star I will give them zero star. Very dirty, terrible customer service, terrible foods. My parents in-law, husband and me, we had diarrhea from the second day of stay at this place. You can see cockroaches walked around on the floor in the restaurants. Especially the steak house, very terrible customer service and terrible attitude (8/26/2024, the manager and waitress). The rooms very humid and the AC was dripping water and shower floor was standing water.

Bugs everywhere in the hotel. Ants on the Balcony. We have 2 adults and 2 kids in the room. We have 4 bottles of water on the first two days. And then we only have 3 bottles of water on the remaining two days in a row. Door cover was lost. Only 1 restaurant open for reservation. Updated is needed in this hotel.

The resort was beautiful! The restaurants were amazing and even when you couldn’t get into one you still had the buffet. I loved that there were stores available in the resort. I forgot a few things and was able to get them. The staff was phenomenal!! I wish I remembered everyone’s names to personally thank them. This was the perfect spot for my sister in laws birthday/engagement.

There were crockroachs in my room and inside the drawer. The pillows were (bad stuffy ) smell.
Hottub inside my room was super dirty (with many old glasses marked around the above side. inside the hottub is all black stuffy mark as no one clean it for long time.

It is a very big hotel!. Most of the rooms (maybe all) are beach front. Rooms are big but can be updated, specially the AC system. The food is okay, but it can be better.
Very nice entertainment for kids ( swimming, movies,Disney theater).
No steam or sauna for guests, which is very strange. You have to pay to use the sauna in the SPA ( it does not work properly!)
Overall if you are traveling with kids I recommend the hotel but plenty of room for improvement.

Resort was clean. Limited hot water. Food at buffet was ok, but not many options. Same food daily. Theme restaurants very good food. Beach was very rough, and not a smooth entry. Got deep pretty quickly. Most Staff was friendly, one staff member very rude.

They need to train their staff to provide a better service, they are rude to everyone. It was our first time in México and now we have a really bad impression of that Country(we could say that in the La Palapa we did met two great staff members who actually care ,they also told our kids some folktales from México we loved they are amazing and if you are there look for them Don Eduardo and Wilberto they are the afternoon staff).
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay in this place, you’re not going to enjoy ,we tried to have fun but all we wanted was to come back home.

Everything was absolutely amazing other than trying to make food reservations. You have to get online right at 8 AM in order to make reservations for their restaurants. One of my five days this worked the other four days it gave you no options even if you log on right at 8 AM. It would only show one restaurant as available. I think something was wrong with their system, and when I told them they did not seem to care to assist me in making reservations with any of the restaurants. Unfortunately, my family and I did not care for the food at the reservation, but everything else was very beautiful. we got stuck eating either the buffet or the Mexican restaurant every day. I highly recommend the Mexican restaurant if you are in the same situation that we were.

The food was not fresh. Seafood was left over from the day before, had a muchy taste to it. The Italian restaurant had fresh food and we enjoyed it their, but all others was just Okay. The property itself had lots to do for the kids. The beach waves was very harsh, we took the public bus which cost $1usd to another beach that was more settled and clean. Towards the end of our stay, we didn’t get water in our room for 2 days, when we called the room service and front desk they tried to have us pay for the waters to be placed in our room, when we told them we didn’t get the complimentary waters and need water for our room as promised by the hotel, we never got them, we called 4x and never got it. I won’t be going back to the resort, everything is a hassle to get done and the food was not good.
