Lacked daily check on needs of room. No pool. Enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Tv didn’t work had to move rooms. Otherwise it worked well

Hotel itself is nice and comfortable. Must of had new person working front desk that was not trained very well. Took forever to check in. Received hotels.com email several days before our check in telling us the hotel parking garage is closed during our visit and directed us to go to another paid garage 6-minute walk which we did. Upon arrival hotel had no idea what we were talking about and said parking garage was open and available. Quite frustrating. Hotel parking garage hard to see and not much room to park while checking into hotel. Breakfast was good. Easy 5-minute walk to Kennedy Center.
4.2
The rooms are dated but clean. What really makes this place is the staff. They are so so wonderful and it’s clear they work incredibly hard for the guests.
4.2
They wouldnt let me cancel when i was in middle of storm with small kids instead i had to book a night at closer hotel and push my stay the next day. The rooms channels never worked kept freezing. Breakfast was good. The sofa bed mattress was terrible to sleep on, the linens were clean.
4.2
Pretty much what I expected for the area. Fair value for the price.
4.2
Nice quiet location with easy access (5 min walk)to the WMTA. Close to GW with plenty of dining options. Staff was polite and courteous. Bed was comfortable although rooms are a bit dated.
4.2
Great spot. Use spot hero to get a place to park. Save a ton of $$
4.2
Breakfast was very nice.....room was large.....staff was very helpful.....great location

1 of the elevators was out of order waiting for a replacement part. Breakfast buffet was a little sparse for GF/Vegan options.
4.2
Nice place to stay
4.2
Old hotel, smells bad and in very inconvenient area.
4.2
I loved the hotel. I would highly recommend this. Breakfast was so so good.

My son and I stayed here for several days. It was a great size room for the two of us and the kitchen made it very convenient for meals in the room. Whole Foods is just a few blocks away, so we loaded up on some groceries. Entrance to the Metro was very close, and we felt safe walking to and from it to our hotel. I would stay here again if we ever go back.

this is a perfect hotel.

Our hotel room is amazinggg! They also have a welcoming letter and some treats. I like how big is our room only for overnight. I just suggest that th parking in hotel should be included in the rate esp. its only overnight. But overall 10/10 ⭐️

The property felt like it hadn't been updated since the late 80's. Looks old and very average. Room size was nice, but that is really the only positive. Based on price, you are grossly over paying for a larger room. We were put in a handicap accessible room, which wasn't ideal. Shower was straight out of a 70's horror film. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Not worth the price we paid at all.
4.2
Convenient.
4.2
The suite was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The area was super convenient for an evening at the Kennedy Center. The staff was very personable and helpful.
4.2
We’ve been there before to go to the Kennedy Center. Location is perfect to walk to. The
room was fine.
On the night of the Kennedy Honors…a Sunday night at 10pm….our key didn’t work to get into the front door of the Hotel!!! We were knocking on the door…the intercom didn’t work and it was cold and scary to be alone at night in DC at the Hotel we paid for and not be able to get anyone to open the door. There was no one in the lobby Or front desk. We were in shock!!!
This should NEVER EVER HAPPEN TO ANYONE!!!!!
I feel we should be compensated for the horrible inconvenience and awful experience.

We traveled to Georgetown for a concert at the JFK Center and decided to spend the night at the Residence Inn Washington DC/Foggy Bottom. This hotel is in a convenient location - a quick drive to Georgetown, the Smithsonian, Capitol, Zoo - and walkable to the JFK Center and Washington Harbor. The hotel was comfortable, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the breakfast was decent. Onsite parking is very limited and is $60 per night, but they let us park there until the concert was over the next day.

Perfect neighborhood for sightseeing in DC. Every place we wanted to visit was walkable or close to metro. Nice restaurants, drug store, market nearby. Large suite. Smallish bathroom but normal for the age of the hotel. Very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Comfy bed. Priced ok for what you get and the location. Excellent customer service.
4.2
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Front desk staff was kind, professional and efficient. The place was clean and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.
4.2
Great property excellent location
4.2
The rooms were large and comfortable with a kitchenette that was helpful to store and reheat restaurant leftovers. Also, the shower was nice with the toiletries needed for hair and body washing. The bed was also very comfortable with pillows that had just the right amount of firmness.
4.2
We had issues with our TV. Due to the tropical storm we had to stay in more than we expected.
We asked for help 3 times. Once we did get some help but still had problems after that which they didn’t care about.
Front desk staff rude and uninterested in customer service.
4.2
Wonderful property~ very close to GW campus & Metro.
4.2
Stayed only one night and had a good time.
4.2
This is our second time staying in this area. We loved the easy and walkable access to the Foggy Bottom station and very close to everything especially to Georgetown.
4.2
I had an enjoyable stay. I stayed here for my birthday and the staff gave me a card and a gift, which I thought that was very thoughtful. Everyone was nice and provided. Great recommendations! The breakfast actually wasn’t that bad like some free breakfast hotels. I recommend it.
4.2
The room is very spacious and the complementary breakfast is definitely a big bonus. Good location with easy access to metro silver line.
4.2
Great location in Foggy Bottom. Spacious room with separate living room with TV. Good, hot breakfast. Helpful staff. Easy walk to Kennedy Center. Reasonable walk to Georgetown restaurants.
4.2
There were bugs in the pullout bed and an incredibly noisy air conditioner fan. Luckily staff was able to accommodate a room change for us.
4.2
We were pleased with our stay. Traveled with little kids and would be nice to have a pool. Price was decent For the room type. The mattress in the pull out needs to be replaced for better comfort.
4.2
We loved this hotel, the staff and how close it was to the metro and different bus stops.
4.2
Enjoyed the complementary breakfast
4.2
This hotel has a great location next to the Mall and near the Metro. It was the best value for the money. Also, has a great breakfast in the morning.
4.2
Registration desk was excellent and always helpful to find dining options, etc. The room was clean and spacious - it helps to have the living/kitchen areas. We stayed 4 nights and never had maid service even though we requested it twice so that was a negative. And of course while the breakfast is a plus the mob at breakfast makes it undesirable. But for sleeping and having a home base - it's excellent.
4.2
Everything close in to DC proper is expensive, but I would prefer this hotel, all things being equal. Great location and service from the friendly staff, room was spacious and comfortable. Just a couple blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro station so easy to get to Mall or Reagan Airport or even Eastern Market. If weather is good, it's a 15-20 minute walk to Georgetown, through a lovely area.
4.2
The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing, we had hiccup with the room that wasn’t clean but were able to get a free upgrade. Just an all around great experience, everyone was happy to be at work which in todays society isn’t always the case. I will come and stay here again
