We enjoyed are stay. Our room was clean and taken care of daily. The staff were very friendly.

Check in process was LOOOOOOOOONG. It took 40 mins to get checked in. Once checked in they told me my room was in another building “the villas”. The bellmen did not help me to my room. I got lost trying to find the building. Found the building and there’s no elevator. So I had to carry my bag up 3 flights of stairs. The villa area I didn’t feel safe (luckily I brought my travel lock and alarm) the lighting was bad walking to my room. The pool area over on the villa side had construction going on my entire stay. My key was deactivated EVERYDAY so when I took the walk to my room up the 3 flights of stairs I had to go back down and walk to the main lobby to get my key reprogrammed.
Food was subpar in the buffet. I ate at the Italian restaurant and that was good and the Asian (I believe) restaurant which was good. Drinks were ok but the servers at the pool area were horrible (even after tipping them). I had to go get my drinks a few times (yes I was pissed, because when I’m on vacation I want to be served).
I showered in lukewarm water daily. The sinks water got extremely hot. The iron burned my close.
All in all I would not recommend or stay there again. It’s an old property and you can tell. Not worth the money spent. You live and learn.

The property was very well maintained and the amenities were excellent. We loved you stay and how friendly the staff was. Jessica from Colombia was so much fun with her daily water aerobics. Daphne and Yenny in Krystal exceeded all expectations for customer service and amazing food.

I am VERY disappointed, I paid for my 50th Birthday trip well in advance. When I got to the hotel they put me in a regular room and I paid for the junior suite! When I got to the room I realized its not what I paid for so I went back to the front desk and showed proof of what I paid for. They said the will move me into the suite the next day after 3pm. I told them i wanted to be refunded for the difference. I was told because I went through a 3rd party travel agent I would have to contact expedia. I called expedia and they hung up on me twice. So I waited until I got to the US and called. They tild me they spoke with the hotel and i could get refunds after I pay 300.00 in taxes. I should NOT have to pay for something I already paid for , it was NOT my fault that I was put in the WRONG ROOM!!! This is unexplainable and terrible customer service! I will be file a complaint with the BBB this is wrong to treat a consumer this way for something that was not my fault!!!!

I probably would not stay here again or recommend this resort due to the difficulty in dining at the restaurants. Not having reservations and waiting was awful. Also. room service was very slow. Allowing one hour is usually reasonable but anything you requested took longer than an hour.
If you’re going to spa, just be aware that you can hear the pool speakers during your massage/service.The ladies were excellent in the spa though.

Nice hotel. Great experience. However, pools needs some attention. Also, pools need to be cleaned before guests start using them in the morning. Birds need to be controlled as they annoy guests while eating. Bird poop all over seats. Overall, I give the resort a generous 4.5 stars.

Great location. Beach and water are perfect and well kept. The hotel had nice grounds and rooms. The food was pretty good for all inclusive and majority of the staff were extremely friendly. Juliana in particular goes above and beyond.

The staff is always so nice. Our room was very clean. The hallways sometimes had a mildew smell on our floor and the whole week we kept seeing a piece of gum someone stuck on the wall by elevator and no one ever removed it. Everything else was great and clean!

My stay with RIU Antilles was amazing, check in was quick and easy.. It was different food options for lunch and dinner. Only one option for breakfast but that was ok. Fun activities to do at the pool daily.. All the staff was friendly and always ask if you need anything…Will definitely book again..

More like RI-ewww. We always stay at RIU resorts, and we were very disappointed in the Antillas. It seems like most of the staff is not very friendly and don’t want to work. Many stand around on their phones or talking with each other instead of providing customer service. Tried to get bottles of water around 11:30pm and was told by the front desk that’s the mini-bar department and they close at 11, so no water for us. Had to ask four times before the broken hair dryer was replaced. Carpeted hallways smell like a mix of vomit and mold. You’re better off staying at a different resort and enjoying the amazing restaurants and shops Aruba has to offer.

From the time we arrived to the time we left we have nothing but great things to say about this resort. The staff were always friendly and welcoming the entire stay. Starting with the checkin, our staff member was in training but very informative and bell hop so sweet, at first was concerned seeing the cleaning that was taking place such as mopping all the time but then actually enjoyed seeing them take pride in keeping every area sanitized at all times. All restaurant were welcoming and all happy to serve and accommodate every request. The pool and towel attendants were also very pleasant each time switching out towels and would even remember us and room number making each encounter happy and fun. The selection of food and drinks were amazing 24 hours a day. The bars had attentive staff, again all filled with energy and happy to serve. If we had to give any constructive feedback it would be one of our safes kept acting up, had to call to have serviced twice, wound up keeping belongings in our other room. Also when arriving to each floor of the rooms the carpets seemed alittle dirty, some room service stayed outside the rooms for quite some time and some remnants of trash lingered as well. It’s wasn’t absurd just noticeable to think this wasn’t getting the attention to cleaning as the rest of the resort was. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely return.
