Didn’t have a handicap room or non smoking. Only 1 package of coffee mold around tub. Not fit to be on hotel.com list. Also have Choice Hotel and they would never allow a dump like this to be on their website also
1 ice machines then in the lobu

The staff were pleasant but this place wasn't that clean and it felt somewhat unsafe. Vagrants and druggies wandering the parking lot. I worried about my car, but it was intact in the morning.
3.4
It is not a family environment hotel or for a solo traveler.
3.4
It's janky, but in a nostalgic sort of way.
My huband skimmed the cigarette butts off the pool. You're welcome.

Great staff, and surrounded with various restaurants and fast food places.

Check-in was fine. Got to the room and there were no towels other than one draped over the side of the tub. Inquired at the front desk and was told we would get some shortly. Never got any. Went a second time, towels were in the laundry and we would get them soon. My wife went to inquire a while later and got some "pool towels" as they were called. Appeared used and a little dirty. Used sparingly. The last time I was told they were going through a shift change and towels from the laundry would be sent to us. Never got any at all. Skipped showering the next morning. Breakfast was okay, nothing special as internet reviews suggested. Room had a loud buzzing noise in the bathroom that never stopped. There was some sort of equipment room next to our room on the end of the wing where the noise came from. Late at night, there was noisy music from the pool area. Some guy kept walking the sidewalk in front of the rooms talking loudly on his cell phone. Either wasn't a guest or too stupid to talk from his own room. There were constant random people sitting outside the front lobby smoking, throwing butts all around the area. Room was pretty shabby, needed some touch-up work for sure. This will not be a place we would stay at again.

Had the worse experience. I was traveling needed a place to stay for the night for some much needed rest I got to the room roaches in counters and restroom. I was tired so I started getting ready for bed then sat down on the hard rock bed. tried my best to go to sleep till I finally did just to be woken up at 6 am all I can hear was like kids getting ready for school I can only assume by the loud noises and talks that I can hear coming from down starts room and outside ruckus I couldn’t sleep anymore. the only up side to all this disappointment was the hot breakfast It was excellent at least that was on point thank you breakfast lady

Do not book this hotel. This hotel should be demolished. Yes, it’s that bad. I booked this last minute for one night, entered the room and left immediately. Absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke, everything was old, holes in the comforter. Went right back to the front desk lady who was extremely nice and professional, told her I couldn’t stay here and she refunded me no further questions. Seriously this hotel should be demolished.

Old and dated. Was last choice as all other hotels were booked. I know why now they did have rooms available. Took advantage of situation. Paid 100.00 for a room that if paid 40 still paid too much.
3.4
There were no locks on my room door so I used a table and chair. There are homeless people camping underneath the outside stairs. My ice chest was robbed of Gatorade, water and a couple of Budweisers. There were multiple roaches when I opened my room door. The flooring in my room was peeling up and missing sections. It was so scary I slept with my wallet under my pillow and my knife in my hand.

The stagg is doing their best but this property needs a major refresh.

There is nothing about this property that will bring me back. I had to stay an extra night and I was in the office getting my room key reactivated and there was a gentleman who was getting a room and his room was almost $40 cheaper than mine was. That's I also tried to get something for the vindig machine and the person who was working the front desk completely rude and disrespectful. There where cockroaches in my room that was not cleaned very well.

When I checked in they said they didn’t have the room I reserved, then she happened to find one. I got a non-smoking room but it smelled very strongly of smoke.

When I arrived and told me floor was on 2nd floor. I asked if the first floor was full. ( I had requested bottom floor or near elevator, both customers are disabled.) They had a 1st floor room, but was told is cost more. Paid the more expensive price, as he said they don't read customer's request. Got in room and it appeared clean. One bed popped as if the box spring was made of metal. And the roaches started coming out. On night stand , across the floor and even on the ceiling.

The first room was dirty. Had to be moved twice. Room was hot. There were bugs in the bathroom and all over the room.
The only good thing was the friendly desk clerks at check in. Will not stay here again.

Serious building renovations in progress.
Area was not good

The night clerk was incredible she was very nice and went out of her way BUT there was no breakfast at all like it said in their listing.. and the hote roomsl was ok

Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is dated.

When you are standing there trying to check in and a guy tells the front desk she’s going to die in five minutes, it gets a little creepy. Front desk help was extremely friendly. Lots of locals use this as a place to live.

I stayed 3 nights. Bed was comfortable if you like a firm bed. Pillows were questionable.Room was clean and AC worked exceptionally well! Breakfast was good.

The first thing I noticed upon arriving was that the lobby smelled clean. It wasn’t an overpowering chemical smell like bleach or anything like that— just a genuine cleanliness. I took this to be a good sign, but that’s where the niceties ended.
When I got to my room, the first thing I noticed was my door was missing part of its swing-security guard, rendering it useless. Additionally, the curtain to the window was falling off of its track.
Next, there is no suitable drinking water easily accessible. There are two vending machines on the property, neither of which have water. When I asked the man at the front desk where I could find some, he pointed to a 5 gallon jug off to the side of the desk. The 5oz styrofoam cups were on the opposite end of the lobby. I had to walk to a gas station at 2am to grab a couple water bottles.
Since the door was missing the swing latch, I wedged the ironing board in the handle to prevent the door from being opened. And I’m glad I did. As I was gathering my things before checkout the next morning, house keeping knocked on the door. I told them, “No thank you!” three times, yet they stood there attempting to open the door for a solid 2 minutes while I was still in the room, had expressed I did not want housekeeping, and before checkout. I ended up going to the door and pounding on it so they would stop trying to get in as I was getting ready to leave. What type of house keeping is that suborn before checkout? It was borderline harassment.

The bathroom was filthy. There was buildup in the corners that looked like poop. There was what looked like smeared poop on the walls in the bathroom and the walls outside the bathroom in the vanity area had what looked like coffee spilt on the walls. It was so dirty, I hated to walk barefoot in the room. The tub was discolored and peeling. I will never stay in that place again. Everyone was really nice, but the place is really nasty

First thing we noticed were the dopeheads. Their doors wide open with what smelled like rotting fried food. Then the dirty walls. And of course the bloodstain on the comforter. We walked right out. The attendant at the front desk was kind enough to refund our money. Definitely a last resort spot, but I would rather drive to another town than stay in that hotel.
