Hotel is in a very dark neighborhood and overall feels unsafe. Manager is rude and throws around the word police at the first sign of you having a complaint with your room or service. No hospitality, bugs everywhere and rooms not clean. Wifi barely works and when it doesn’t staff doesn’t know how to resolve. Choice Hotels should be ashamed to call this a location!

Booking thru Hotels.com went smoothly. Description stated "Pet Friendly" and breakfast included. Upon arrival, waited 20 minutes for the "Manager" Bob Patel to check in the couple ahead of me - took him a while because he had to repeat himself a lot - english not being his best language. Looking around the lobby, I noticed a small sign stating there was a $20 charge for dogs and a $50 charge if you tried to sneak a dog in! Nothing about that in the Hotels.com description and that hardly qualifys as "Pet Friendly"! Manager Patel wouldn't budge and was downright rude. My wife and I (and small dog) had just driven 500 miles and were too tired to look for another motel.
The room was only minimally clean, with dirt in all the corners. Expecting a good breakfast? Expect generic sweetened fruit loops and sweetened cherios with milk from a thermos bottle. No fresh fruit, no juice. Indescribably terrible coffee.

This place is good for a one night stay. The rooms were clean, but were very outdated. The location was good for anybody who needs to go to Schenectady or Albany to do business or see family. Check in with quick continental breakfast Soso.

Possible drugs all over one of the broken nightstands, light fixture hanging open with exposed wires, pills and bugs and random junk on the floor with a 9 month and two year old in the room. The shower drain didn’t drain so you took a bath no matter what, unidentified, gross looking substance in one of the beds and stains/burn holes all over both beds. Wish I had taken photos now it didn’t even cross my mind to.

It was what I expected for that price.

It was an adequate stay for a single night. The room in general does need some cosmetic work. I strongly recommend replacing the existing toilets with "comfort height, elongated (oval) seats" for greater comfort and ease of use, especially by older or mobility limited individuals.

I like that the property is on the bus line however I dislike like the fact that I'm the first room i stayed in the room had mice, and then the second room they put me in they have roaches it's sad cause me and my boys are homeless and they charge so much a night to stay here the least they could do is make sure they at least have an exterminator make sure that that this doesn't happen ugh....

Older motel, but the room was fine. There were a lot of folks roaming around the hotel grounds and they yelled at us a couple of times. We also had someone bang on our door at 3:45am, asking for Daniel. Although I don't blame the hotel for this, it speaks to the area. Worked for the night.

The surrounding around the area didn't feel that safe

Blankets dirty, room had a foul smell and there were bugs in the room.

The first room we were given didn’t have a working TV and it had a very loud hum coming from the refrigerator and it turned out to have a large build up of ice in the freezer. We were given a second room but the TV in that one would only get 4 channels, there were no bath towels (we had to call the front desk to have some brought up), no bath mat, the faucet for the tub/shower was positioned so that it leaked water all over the end of the tub and onto the floor and the tile beside the tub was very slippery. And with no mat to step on it was extremely dangerous. The floor felt sticky and when I was able to get into the shower, my feet left black marks from walking on the floor.
The two employees that tried to help were nice but they blamed it on housekeeping. And when we went to the breakfast that was included, they had no napkins. We don’t ask for much in a hotel but having a working TV, towels in the bathroom and a safe bathroom aren’t asking too much.

Atleast the sheets were clean.
Refrigerator had water all around it.
Air conditioning didn’t work.
No hot water for morning shower.

Pretty grimy place to stay. The floors were dirty and sticky, my deadbolt didn't lock going into the room next door, so their solution was to pull the desk in front of the door lol. On the bright side the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean

Dirty sheets weren’t cleaned holes in the walls and the shower handle was broken off. And heroine needles in the lot. Manager was very apathetic and seemed to not give a dam when I came in for check in

clean room, good price. breakfast was pretty good

Was only in town for one night for a concert. The room wasn’t too bad , ac was good, bed was good (although I don’t check under sheets and stuff I just lay on top of the sheets on the already made bed) . Biggest complaint would be the bathroom. I didn’t have flip flops so I didn’t want to shower. I couldn’t. The tub didn’t look well cleaned. The bathroom also had like old dust and other peoples hair in the corners. Other than that, everything else was ok.

Dirt floor n bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. Also the bathroom sink was cracked n toilet lid coming off! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! 😡

They simply did not have my reservation through expedia, per their saying. I don’t know who to blame expedia or the hotel. The result was the same: the whole family spent the night in the car since everything was booked.

We were offered better accomodations than what we reserved and staff were wonderful. However, the tub was dangerously high - even for my husband who is over 6 feet tall!!! This made access extremely difficult.

No working Television. Would not discount. Room.

Television didnt work. Our reservation was lost and we had to pay hotel for 2 nights out of pocket. Hotel claims they had not received reservation from Expedia. Refund not received yet

the first room we were put in smelled like armpit.
the second room was only a bit better.
the "breakfast" was
shelf stable supermarket box donuts (think entenmann's),
shelf stable supermarket bagels (like thomas') and cereals,
unpeeled overcooked hardboiled eggs were the only protein option,
and DIY mini waffle iron was the closest thing they had to fresh bread/pastries.
No other protein than the unpeeled overboiled eggs.

It's an inexpensive hotel and you get what you pay for. For staying for one night it was fine

Took 1h15 to check in
Fire sirens go off across the street every couple minutes
I am sure this place is decent sometimes but I was unlucky today. Will not book again.

Similar to previous econolodge, over priced, a bit durty and things in disrepair. Junk on the property

We checked in at 11:30 pm because of no electricity at our home. Our electricity was not going to be fixed till 2:pm following day. We asked if we could stay a few more hours since the whole motel was pretty much empty, they allowed an extra 30 min which we declined. The parking lot and stairwells very full of trash and cigarette butts, just sad we had stayed there for a week a month prior due to a water issue at our home and they couldn't accommodate us for a couple of extra hours.

The price wasn’t as advertised on expedia if you have pets. It’s double. Rooms were awful and we had to be moved because of water and damp on the floors and baseboards. I could go on and on what needs doing. Utterly awful place

I always stay at th econolodge because the front desk is so friendly and accommodating
