The best hotellroom I have had in my lifetime.

Great hotel, great staff, great food at any restaurant, wonderful location with a private beach, and nice activities offered. Loved the welcome Champagne, hotel-branded cap and bag. Thank you Hilton. Unforgettable experience.

Austin was average at best. The overwater bungalow was good, but the reef has been immensely damaged so the number of fish around the resort are minimal. There is open smoking policy in the resort and members are smoking openly everywhere the restaurant and Food is Pathetic. The grill restaurant which is the only restaurant which serves lunch is the worst experience in a five star resort the staff is non-attentive and the drinks are water down in the food is worse than a fast food restaurant. The only saving grace of this resort is that Hilton and most members I see probably have some kind of Hilton reward, which is why they come to this place, I would not recommend this resort to anybody and I will not ever visit this resort again if I come back

We had a very relaxing 3 night stay in a garden bungalow with a private pool, which we actually never used because the main pool and beach were so inviting. The location is absolutely gorgeous and quite private. The hotel was fully booked but did not feel crowded or noisy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The concierge helped us book our excursions with Albert’s Tours. We highly recommend their ATV tour and Jet Skiing to swim with the sharks and manta rays. Alberts tours offers better rates than the hotel’s, and they pick you up from the hotel and drop you back. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the omelette station. However, as others have said, the food for dinner is so so and very overpriced. We enjoyed the Polynesian show but again the buffet was overpriced. The spa offered a lovely relaxing experience before our long flight home. Finally, the grounds are well maintained, but the rooms are outdated and definitely need a refresh. All in all, this resort offers a quiet relaxing escape in paradise to unwind from the rat race. It is not the destination if you’re looking for an active nightlife experience.

Friendly staff, beautiful lagoon, food was a little disappointing given the price. There were better local options but in all fairness we only ate at the Rotiu a couple of times and cannot comment on the other options.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and despite a sold out hotel we never heard others when outside enjoying our private pool.

Beyond disappointing stay. We saved up to splurge on the over water bungalows. The property is stunning but all three nights we stayed there were planned power outages. Made trying to sleep extremely difficult as it was hot. Repairs should be done when guests are not staying at the property.

Restaurant food is ridiculous expensive, no activity at all .

The resort was beautiful. Staff kept the grounds clean. We liked our bungalow w a private pool. We had a garden bungalow very close to everything. The following were our dislikes :
Dining options - only one restaurant on the property. We did not eat here. Had a bad breakfast experience. We paid $80 for 2 adults ( my son ate free) for breakfast buffet. We arrived ready to eat at 9:30am. ( We came straight from the ferry @8:30a, checked in). Needless to say we were very hungry from our overnight in the airport. How disappointing to see no omelette station; only sausage, bacon & fried fish for proteih choices. I was very dissatsfied with the Hiltons buffet, it looked more like a continental breakfast. There was a bar & grill, that offered overpriced burgers & pizza, Rotui Grille. Food was okay at best, but the cocktail drinks were not. Either too sweet or too sour. I suggest they improve the drinks w a mixologist and retraining. I really did not taste any booze at all. My husbands a bartender & he makes a great Mai tai. This has been my only vacation this year and I was looking forward to enjoying a good cocktail on the beach. Instead we went to the market to purchase a bottle of rum.
Power outages - for a 5 star resort I would not expect the Hilton to have planned power outages. They had several during our short 5 day stay. The second lasted over 6 hours during the night. I woke up hot and sweaty, due to no ac; I slept very bad. I was given $200 refund, so that helped.

Fantastic snorkeling and great sunsets. Happy hour was so beautiful and great drinks to watch the sunset! Breakfast is kind of meh but not a lot of other options. Polynesian show was fun, buffet was good. Dinners would get repetitive so it was nice to have some other dinner spots to go to outside of the resort.

The Hilton Moorea was wonderful. It is located centrally to get to either side of the island for shopping, dining and excursions. The location in the lagoon offers beautiful water, a large private beach and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The property is very nice, immaculately clean and in pretty good fondition. Reviews mentioning it being in need of a refresh are being too overly picky. A few broken tiles here and there and some wood is a little warped but that happens when you’re 7 feet from the ocean. The service was gracious and friendly throughout. We did numerous excursions booked through the hotel (ATV, jet ski, etc) and recommend them all. We had the garden beachfront room with a private pool - room was large and very nice with a lovely private pool. The only criticism I have of the property is that the food is fairly marginal (we had a car and since our food was not included in our rate, we choose to eat out for many meals). There is also very little nightlife at the hotel, in the area and in Moorea in general.
Ultimately an A+ but recommend exploring food offsite

This hotel was recommended and it was great. We stayed at the Manava afterwards and prefer this hotel. Better food and the people working were much nicer.

One of the most gorgeous hotel I have seen. Husband, teenage son and I would love to come back soon. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good but food is just ok. The underwater rooms are beautiful and so relaxing. It was just a dream. We had one of the best vacation here relaxing and disconnecting from the world.

This hotel is getting dated. Our family wanted to. Visit Mo’orea for the first time but felt like prisoners here. Extremely high prices & no where near to eat some where else. No cars to rent and no where to shop. You basically are stranded at this hotel. I did not think Mo’rea would be like this but we all felt ripped off.

Excellent stay and service. Location is fantastic especially over the lagoon with incredible views and snorkeling abilities. Would stay again. Highly recommend 👍

We loved everything about this property. The Staff, the facilities, the food. The overall experience was very calm and friendly, and made us feel as if we were by ourselves.

Everyone should do this once in their life! OWB was spectacular.

Location is gorgeous, but I was pretty stunned by the dilapidated condition of the grounds -- particularly the decks on and around the overwater bungalows. For the price, could nobody have gotten out a can of paint?? It made the whole place feel depressing, despite its fabulous setting.

Great snorkeling.
Love the over water bungalows!

Overall not the greatest experience

We had a good time at the property. Spent most of our time on excursions, food and beverage was expensive as is throughout French Polynesia. Their mixed drinks were very questionable and very expensive. I’m sure they did not know how to actually make them.

Pros: Property looks exactly as pictured and truly breathtaking. We booked the overwater bungalow and loved being able to jump in the clear water for a swim whenever we wanted. Restaurant, pool staff, and housekeeping were so nice and very helpful.
Cons: Food is resort food and to be expected. Just okay. Lost a star in the rating for the front desk service. No help with bags on checkout from the bungalows. No help with taxi or transportation like what was offered at the Hilton Tahiti property. Not much help when booking excursions so recommend researching activities before you go.

Have stayed at this resort several times over past 22 years. The staff is always kind and personable. Facilities are well-kept and comfortable.

This is a beautiful aging resort. The bungalows are spacious and have plenty of outdoor space. The resort is well maintained, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The daily breakfast offered a nice variety of food with buffet service with a featured omelet bar. The restaurants are expensive but there are plenty of good restaurants that will provide pick up service. All in all, a great hotel for a stay in paradise!

Overrated, overpriced for the value. I’ve stayed at many other 5 star hotels and am surprised this Hilton is considered 5 stars making me assume they’re paying for that ranking. The hotel had cheap plastic lounge chairs scattered around and the entire resort is in major need of renovation. In terms of sustainability, I wish there were more water fountains throughout the property and I was surprised they didn’t have filtered water. Also, why the confined koi fish when at a snorkeling paradise? So unnecessary.

Overrated. Poor bang for the buck. Stay at Airbnb or Sofitel instead. Resort needs renovations.

We had a wonderful stay. The concierge was very kind and helped us recover a bag lost at the cruise terminal.
The water is amazing and we enjoyed snorkeling several times. This hotel is a must for visitors to French Polynesia.

Omg - Moorea became our favorite island to visit and Hilton over water bungalows, its location and amenities and activities certainly played a key role in us falling totally in love with the island. Highly recommended resort to stay atleast once in your lifetime.

We chose the Hilton Moorea expecting a certain standard from the Hilton brand, but unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The room didn't match the photos, with a worn-out deck and pool chairs lacking cushions. The toilet seat didn't stay up, and there was a persistent bad smell in the room. We received a room upgrade after complaining, but it's worrying to think that many guests may face similar issues without speaking up.
Additionally, we encountered problems like old, stained pool towels and an expensive breakfast buffet, leading us to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. We'd recommend renting a car to explore nearby breakfast spots, as the hotel's dining options were average at best. The overwater creperie restaurant emitted a sewage smell, which raised concerns that sewage might be leaking into the water. We reported this to the staff.
However, the staff at Hilton Moorea were incredibly friendly, reflecting the hospitality of French Polynesia. We appreciated the room upgrade and enjoyed the beautiful lagoon area for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking, where we saw fascinating marine life. Despite these positives, the numerous negatives lead us to rate this hotel with only two stars.

Great location. Great value. Friendly staff.
Save thousands over bora bora. Get south west room. 109 is the best!

The view from the deck/balcony was amazing the service and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We were greatly disappointed that the pool was closed for renovation--a fact hidden behind a note about ferry schedules. We wouldn't have minded missing the pool itself, but the pool closure actually included the heart of the resort, so all but one path to the main restaurant was closed and barrier fencing was intrusive. However, that closure should be over now, and based on glimpses of the new pool area, it should be fabulous. Staff were friendly, but a little slow to serve in the restaurant. The food was mediocre, except for the creperie which was excellent and any dish featuring tuna. Our over water bungalow was wonderful. Worth paying extra for, for the views, the slightly cooler temperatures, and complete absence of flies. The one thing we didn't like was the lack of privacy of the toilet...in its own room but open to the roof, so sounds carried easily. In the end, despite the less-than-perfect things I listed, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel. Has beautiful views, access to the beach and plenty activities to do.

The pool was under renovation and closed, which wasn’t disclosed when booking. The resort did offer a daily credit towards hotel amenities as well as a half day trip out to another island for the inconvenience of no pool. The beach was wonderful. The food was ok. No working ice machine for the garden bungalows. Moorea is incredible, though, and we would stay again. (But would check to make sure the pool was open!)

Beautiful one of a kind snorkeling, canoeing, and paddle boarding in a private bay. Sharks come out at night with lights to see them. Infuriate the resort was under construction to see the rest. Limited dining choices.

This property is amazing. Everybody should do this. You will not miss out on everything and everybody. It was a trip of a lifetime.

The water and views were spectacular
However at 1000 night the deck and walkways should not look so tattered. The ice machine was broken for the whole week. No english tv chanels to watch at night
The staff were fantastoc

Everything was excellent but the food. The first night we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. We ordered pasta and shrimp salad. The pasta has no taste and the shrimp line was not removed. I can't believe this is a five-star hotel's chef level.
