Located very close to train station, this hotel offers convenience and easy access to the city center. And while the Service is attentive and professional, and the breakfast is very good, the room I stayed in was shabby, tired and had a strange odor whenever I entered. Furniture was old, worn and uncomfortable. Unless this place gets a serious makeover, I would not stay here again.

The hotel staff were excellent and great location to attractions and central station but the room we were allocated was very small and needs some updating and TLC. The included breakfast was continental and the coffee was excellent. The beds were comfortable and king size and there was a wardrobe and a table and once you put you luggage in it left no room for moving around.

This hotel is amazing and the staff are unmatched. I cannot remember the name of the guy who checked me in but he was so friendly and generous (offered me a glass of water whilst I waited) and offered me some really cool suggestions of places to go. Later than evening I was greeted by Alby and he was so personable that we ended up talking for a good 30 mins if not more. I asked for a few things (hot water, glasses of ice ) it was not too much trouble for him during the night I bothered him. In the days when I was leaving and evenings I was returning all of the staff were so inviting and eager to learn what I was / had done during the days. I booked the smallest solo room and it was surprisingly spacious. Whilst the rooms didn't have a kettle, it did have a large fridge enough for me to hold a few containers of fruit, juice and water. The location is great being merely a few mins from the tram and train stations with the carrefour being across the road. I would not hesitate at all to return to this hotel as I absolutely loved my stay there :) Thanks guys for giving Firenze a wonderful reputation

Nice hotel for a budget stay. The hotel does the job, however there are many points for improvement. It’s a bit of a shame that the iron curtain was shut during breakfast, and that the laundry chariots were occupying the nice patio on the first floor. The room is rather small and I couldn’t actually open my suitcase in full due to the arrangement of the furniture. So don’t expect any luxury, however the location is very convenient if you wanna stay close to the station

I liked that it is one block away from SMN Train Station. Easy access to the sites we wanted to visit. The room was small but very clean, with its own bathroom. All staff was very nice and willing to help and answer all our questions. If I come to Firenze again, I definitely will book a room at the Boccaccio!

Very nice people working at the hotel and in the bar. Close to central station and everything. Nice beds, not to hard. It's a typical Tuscan hotel, so it's a bit dark in furniture and such, but the restaurant is cool. Allover very price-efficient and nice.

This property is very close to the Santa Maria Novella station, it is in a very busy area. The hotel is in decent condition, there is no lobby because they run a business storing tourist luggage. The free breakfast was basic but decent. The room itself had an older style of furnishing with older and scratched wood dressers. The bed linens were basic and pillow was thin and uncomfortable. The hotel was a good value, but I would not stay again.

We had a quick stay here for one night before flying out of Florence the next morning very early. The front desk let us check in early and was very helpful with recommendations. The cafe next door (you get a discount as a hotel member!) is AMAZING!!! The coffee and breakfast is amazing. At 4 am the front desk ordered us a taxi to the airport and was helpful with that. The hotel room was average - the pillows are so thin but other than that it was good.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly during our 8 day stay. Elby was the night desk clerk and was extremely helpful. He arranged for two tours for us and offered suggestion on other activities throughout our stay. The rooms were small but clean. The bed was comfortable and the room had plenty of storage. We used the hotel safe in the room. The hotel was located very near the train station. Our room included breakfast at a resturant attached to the hotel. The food was fresh and the staff was very friendly. We were so pleased with our choice. We would definately stay here again when visiting Florence.

Nafiza and Monicha were excellent and extremely hospitable. Nafiza made the best cappuccino and lattes as well as offered great local places to visit. Front desk Romy gave us great recommendations to eat. The best part out of all our stays this hotel changed heater to AC. Amazing!!!

I enjoyed my 2-night stay here. The staff at the reception was very helpful. He provided me with a map with the attractions, and showed me how to get there after I checked in. This location is excellent as it’s about 5 min walk from the train station. The room is clean and comfortable. There is also breakfast included, which is awesome.

This hotel is close to the train station. It's centrally located and very easy to get to and from all the sites the city has to offer. The room was comfortable and clean and had a good size bathroom. The staff is very accommodating and they go out of their way to make sure the needs of their guests are taken care of. Unfortunately, I tripped and fell on the street during my stay and bruised my ribs. The receptionist offered to haul my very big and heavy suitcase to the train station for me. The train station was too close to call a taxi but far enough to be a very painful walk, even with a suitcase with wheels. Needless to say, I was very grateful. I would stay there again.
