Everything was good except the service. I booked the hotel for 2 days, and decided to stay only 1, first receptionist said they will give 50% refund and then decided not to give at all, which is not acceptable

Overall not that impressed with my experience at this hotel. Things that may feel insignificant on their own add up to an underwhelming stay for the price.
The pool/outdoor area was not open (under renovation) — this should’ve been disclosed at time of booking. Time outdoors at the hotel is an important consideration for me when deciding where to stay. I don’t like spending hours at a time cooped up inside an AC space with no options to get fresh air.
When I asked about other available outdoor spaces at the hotel, the staff gestured towards the front entrance as if to say, you can hang out right outside the front entrance.
There were no hypoallergenic options for pillows available.
Customer service to me goes a long way towards me accepting the unexpected lack of amenities. With the exception of one staff who went out of their way to get silverware for me from the kitchen when all they had were plastic spoons for use, the rest of the staff seemed satisfied to provide the bare minimum response.
When I asked for a slight extension for check out the staff seemed to be bothered to engage in the conversation but finally agreed to giving 30m after I reassured them I wasn’t a messy guest.
I was also told because i booked through a third party site I wouldn’t be able to get Hilton Honors points for my stay. This seems strange in this day and age of numerous online booking options.

Property was as expected for a Doubletree. Stayed here years ago and the face-lift is good. Always love the warm cookies from the front desk 😋 and the staff was pleasant 👍

The hotel is nice and clean. The restaurant inside is too expensive for what you get. It’s 30 dollars a night for parking so that really adds up.

Excellent resort and facilities. Yoga studio, soundproof study/Zoom boxes, gym, pool/jacuzzi, and more. Parking was an additional $30 which was a sad and unexpected fee that I wasn’t expecting, but it was very safe parking (gated with restricted access). Keycards were needed for elevator use to prevent unwanted visitors. Rooms were quiet and well stocked with commodities.

I am a Hilton member, so frequently stay with Hilton. Zessa is a business hotel. I was there on a weekend and there was absolutely no activity in the area. Paid parking is never welcome. My room was underwhelming and not particularly clean. There was a lovely view of the roof. Restaurant was uninteresting, and the “snack bar” included cold BLTs, and I was surprised to find that I was charged $28 for a split of red wine. Unless you’re there for business, give it a miss.

Very nice accommodations.

Great hotel with excellent service. The gym was nice, the bed was very comfortable and we couldn’t hear noise from the streets nearby. The one big downside was the pool which was dirty and therefore unusable.

Nice clean place with a good coffee place for breakfast open bright and early. Spacious and clean room.

Really great overall and very clean. Disappointing that the amenities list laundry facilities but this hotel does not have guest laundry, only dry cleaning available. Would still stay again though.

It was our first time staying at this hotel and I was pleased with the room overall aside from the room not getting cold enough with the A/C.. overall my spouse and I enjoyed that it wasn’t that far from the Tustin district center. We would definitely stay again.

Staff members were all very friendly. There was some construction going on but the hotel common areas were very clean and the rooms were very clean as well. It was a quick drive to Anaheim and there are a ton of dining that are 15 minutes or less away. SNA airport is a 5 minute drive away. Super convenient location! I'll definitely be back soon!

We booked this hotel for a softball tournament - PGF Nationals.
Despite the Crowdstrike outage that affected many business worldwide, Hotel Zessa's early check-in was a lifesaver. They had to check in every guest manually, yet they accommodated us earlier than the scheduled check-in time. Tanisha's assistance is escorting us to our floor and room was a testament to their commitment to excellent customer service. We truly appreciate their effors, which contributed to our overall positive experience with the hotel.
Here are the positives - the room was clean, the AC worked well, they provided enough towels for two people, we loved the strong water pressure in the shower, they have a secured parking garage, however the fee was expensive $27 a day with in and out privileges. They offer daily clean services if needed. Majority of the staff is really nice and helpful, except for one person (an Asian man) which I won't name. He shoud smile more and apprear approachable, especially when guests have questions.
CONS - no coin laundry machine available only laundry service. No pen/small pad in our room. I left my Tiffany gold necklace in the room and housekeeping said they didn't find it, it was disappointment.
We brought our service dog with us. They have many grassy areas around the hotel. Just don't let them out after dark, you may encounter big cockroaches.

No one was at the front desk when I arrived for check in. I didn’t have enough towels in my room. I tried to call several times for house cleaning for towels but no one answered the phone. Would not recommend . The price is good but I guess you get what you pay for.

Clean & well presented property with professional staff.
Our stay however was impacted by some unruly guests who were yelling & banging on the adjoining door till 5 am in the morning which naturally scared my young daughter.
The staff arranged a new room in the morning for us which was appreciated.

Everything was great with the room and location. Hotel had secure gated parking but can be tight if you have a bigger vehicle. Be prepared to pay the parking fee per night at the end of your stay it is not included in the hotel fees at the time of booking. The only small issue we had was we had to ask for more toilet paper when we got to the room both rolls were half empty. Other than that the stay good and we would definitely stay there again.

we wore three family when I visit the front desk in that particular slow they seemed to tell her not Money guest, and I specifically ask her if she can give us rooms with you. She gave us rooms with view of walls.
It was late night and we were retired. I didn’t have the time to argue with her.
Parking $20 a night no free breakfast
Comparing with holiday inn express which we spent night before and Chatsworth I gave them three star
