Awesome but renovating
Parking a bit of challenge but beautiful hotel

I cannot believe I paid $536 for this old and outdated hotel with a room with no single USB outlet. So inconvenient location with no restaurant. This is not a 4-star hotel, this is an old motel. The room heater is so noisy. The smell from the hall way is terrible.I will never book this hotel again.

This hotel is going through a transition at the moment. As a result service and amenities are at a bare minimum. No breakfast service, only room service. No latte. No lunch. Bar doesn’t open until 5:00.
On first night, Inquired at the front desk about restaurants in the area, we’re only directed to Bloor Street and yet the following day when asking again, a list of restaurants was produced from behind the desk.
We were able to choose from a very limited menu on the first night. Met friends next afternoon for drinks. Every thing we asked for (wine, beer, etc) they were out of, had to settle for 2-3 choices. No olives for martinis!
Quite disappointed. But m sure when they finish their upgrading and renos it will be very good

Great place to stay if you want some serenity in the city. Easy access to walking trail along the river. Easy walk to public transport. Parking is just across the street in a parking garage. Will be back. Nice interactions with employees and no issues.

Very clean hotel with extremely pleasant staff.

A welcome break near nature. A short walk to a really nice river where you can watch the salmon jumping upstream.

This property is amazing and the room was even better. It was clean, everything was in excellent condition and just overall cozy. The location of being out of the busier part of the city was great as well. We'll be making sure this is on our top lists of recommendations for where to stay in Toronto.

Beautiful grounds, amazing room (especially the jacuzzi!), friendly staff. The spa and afternoon tea were excellent.

A wonderful stay in an elegant oasis in the middle of the city. Easy to get around. Beautiful, spacious room overlooking the garden area.

Only slight negative is the fitness Center. It could use more (and newer) equipment

Nice quiet place.

Hotel is charming, clean . However when we arrived we were I formed that there was no restaurant available as their kitchen is under construction. All we had was the bar menu from 6 pm on. Or order room service with limited bar menu. We planned on relaxing there but sound we had to arrange Uber to get to restaurants. We booked this place because of the adverse restaurant in house restaurant to avoid added expenses for travel. They should have upgraded this situation to their website. I sat in my room from 1 pm till 6 pm to wait for the bar side to open for food - only to find out it was closed as there was no staff that day. Never received no compensation for this lack of food aero. I went many hours without food/

Great room and service… disappointed that the restaurant was closed in the night we arrived.

Wonderful hotel! Very well-maintained and beautiful neighborhood!

This is a tired-looking property, even though it is a spectacular historical property on the exterior. The hotel should invest in at least recovering or replacing the furniture in the public spaces and changing out the old carpets. Room service was not offered on a Saturday night which is unacceptable even if they have 2 weddings running. Coffee should be available in the lobby in the morning for early risers, especially since there are no coffee shops anywhere close to the hotel. Real Nespresso pods should be offered with the coffee machines and hotel information in the room should be presented in a way that looks a lot less like a cheap motel.

Was a very nice stay for a wedding. Property was beautiful, it’s the first time in a very long time that I can say I experienced true hospitality at a hotel.

Grounds, room decor & amenities, architecture all good.
Advised there would be expanded restaurant facility on premises

On arrival to the room, we put away our cold items in the fridge, however, the fridge was not working. I called the desk and immediately an engineer came up, assessed the fridge and replaced it. He was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and very quick in resolving the problem, The gentleman that was cleaning came to our rescue when we couldn’t figure out how to use the coffee maker. He was very friendly and prompt and super helpful anytime we saw either of these two staff during our three day stay they were very cheerful and friendly.

It was beautiful but the bathtub was not cleaned properly as there were numerous hairs from others.

It was a beautiful place with quality old world charm. The AC in the chapel could be a little better but everywhere else it was wonderful

Walking distance to trails along the Humber river and Bloor West village. I found the hotel and the room very cozy and comfortable; however, we were awaken very early in the morning with construction noises. The sound of generator and heavy machinery started just after 6 am while we were hoping for a late start. Dining rooms were not available when we stayed and only room service was available. We walked to the Bloor West village for breakfast.

The Old Mill is full of history and the rooms have plenty of character. Solid wood furniture that's been well-kept, has lovely views of the surrounding area, and it's so quiet and peaceful. The room was much more than I expected, and I enjoyed my stay. Staff were helpful, and courteous not to say room numbers out loud during check-in, but specify which floor you're on. (For anyone travelling alone who worries about their security, always require this for your safety).

A really special - in a good way! - hotel. Staff were just the right level of very helpful and friendly. The building(s) had great atmosphere.

Property needs a complete refresh. Decor is very dated and threadbare. Noisy plumbing. Remote location so no access to bars and restaurants and nothing open onsite after 10:00 PM. No room service available after 10:00 AM on Sunday morning. Highly disappointed.

Fantastic hotel. Full of charm and class. Staff were excellent.

Modified our booking for an extra night, and got a free upgrade too upon arrival. There were a few minor problems in the room (door stuck and AC rattled) but they fixed both within an hour. Much appreciated.

We got married at The Old Mill 36 years ago and decided to spend our anniversary there. We were pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to a suite. It was so much appreciated. Beautiful! And we appreciated their card and free bottle of wine waiting for us in the room. Thank you!
