This was the absolute worst stay ever my family Thanksgiving was messed up the room was old outdated furniture and the worse part there were roaches and I was on the 12 floor my family member was on the first floor and had roaches too we had to check out and find another property that was pet friendly on Thanksgiving day I went to the front desk 4 times but when I contacted Vasca they said they had no records of a complaint and I should of called them first I was only refunded for one day

The door codes were hand written. They should have been printed out on paper which would be more legible. The numbers on the door key pads are very small and the hall has low light making seeing the numbers difficult. The numbers must be entered precisely or the red lights come on and you must start over therefore the numbers must be entered repeatedly. My wife took some used towels to the front desk for fresh ones and was told she had to take them down a dark corridor and place them into the laundry shoot before she could get fresh towels. I understand that there is no maid service during the stay. Customers should not be treated like thieves nor servants just to get a couple of fresh towels. The staff seem to be lacking in basic courtesy skills in treating customers. This facility is in a great location and is small dog friendly. The customers tend to be very friendly and courteous.

We had a great time, lovely view. The only thing we didn’t care for was having to park so far away, using the long passcodes to get in the door- no key cards. The parking was a little cramped other than that excellent experience and would go back again to stay.

This hotel was so wonderful love how they are very pet friendly. They go out there way to make to make yoir fur babys feel welcome with the dog spa and grooming on property . The room and staff were friendly and helpful very clean place. Cant wait to.come back

This hotel literally had us bring our towels to the front desk for fresh towels each time we needed them. They actually counted the used towels and wash cloths to ensure they gave us the exact amount of fresh towels in return. The guy at the front desk tried to scold us for not going to the front desk to drop off the towels, when we were told the day we checked in to bring the towels to front desk, then we discarded them ourselves down the laundry shoot. We had no problem following the directions, but clearly the staff had different directions- depending on who was on duty. The water did not stay hot in the shower, we were told to let the kitchen and bathroom sink faucet run to get the shower hot. The shower curtain was dirty. And the bathroom door was damaged. The cleaning lady and the maintenance guy were very kind. This hotel needs to either be sold to a better owner or the current owner needs to make some major upgrades. Also- let customers know in advance that if they stay at your hotel, they need to bring their own towels. I have never stayed some place that rations out towels as if the front desk employees pay for them directly.

Like how house keeping doesn’t come in while you’ll out of the room. Staff was always on their cell phones, I turned in a lost phone and the staff said nothing! And the long 12 digit # codes you had to remember for the room, pool area and outside door was inconvenient. I had to take a net and clean a dead bird out of the pool and later had to clean the pool again from large pieces of plastic and hair floating. Staff was sitting at the indoor pool all day doing nothing! … And with no ramp access near , it was hard for wagons. And the dog area was very tiny. The smaller your vehicle is the better, Parking was very tight.

Our week stay there was horrible! We checked in Aug 3, 2024. The girl at the front desk was so rude. Got the code to our door to walk in to a studio room. Which we reserved a kitchenette. Went back downstairs to be told basically that we were out of luck because hotel was fully booked and a refund was not an option. The beds were literally like sleeping on springs. Our front door looked like it had been kicked in, lock was hanging. Plugged in a toaster(we brought it) to an outlet that throwed sparks and fell completely out and cut the electric off in our room. Called front desk to notify and took them 2.5 hrs to come and fix it. Hotel is beyond outdated. Our overall stay was a nightmare from day one. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone! I hate complaining but people need to know.

Topical storm debby shut down the whole state, traveling was not an option. We wanted to change the dates, not an option. Wanted a refund, not an optoon. So these people made money from us for a vaction we couldnt make due to a tropical strom causing flooding throughout the state. This is unjust and i would never recommend expedia or this resort

Decent sized room, clean property. Not many dining choices in walkable distance. No housekeeping during the stay, so room was full of sand. Shower drains super slow. If you need clean towels, you have to take the dirty ones all the way down to the front desk to exchange which is not convenient for families.

First day I was not use to one toilet paper at a time or emptying your own trash or returning and obtaining clean towels or linens but I soon learned that most of the places due the same thing. It was nice and relaxing The maintenance man Dallas?”, very social helpful. Hallways to the rooms and elevators very very warm and not air conditioned at all. This is not good considering you have to wait quite awhile both fior and in it. The lobby floor was the beautifulest I’ve ever seen!! It would look wonderful for the room hallways as what’s there smells of mildew and the allergens they must hold especially in the heat. Just a couple of updates and I would give this place the highest rating

Has potential but needs better leadership. Staff behind the desk not rude but are short and rush answers just to return to their cell phones. No room service everything is self service which is not a big deal. Maybe invest in some pine soil or fabuloso, it’s a pet friendly hotel, nothing says clean like fresh smells. Cut the things growing from the hotel to the beach. I would most likely stay there again the hotel was ok but can be so much better. It needs leadership with pride,step up.You can’t teach manners to the staff but at least be polite. Good morning, how can I help you, how is your day, not keep your head down and hope
No one talks to you. Not all the staff was this way just two. I would really like to see these and more improvements, we vacation in Myrtle every summer and would like to stay here again.

The hotel is mostly well kept. The room had a full sized refrigerator and full sized kitchen sink as well as a full size stove. It had a microwave and a coffee maker. The beds were a little uncomfortable, as there was kind of a well in the mattress on one side. The shower faucet was difficult to manuver and it ended up breaking. The front desk had it taken care of within minutes so that was nice. The front desk overall was very unfriendly. Seemed annoyed that they had to exchange towels even though that was the only option in order to get fresh towels. Also, maid service would not let us get toilet paper. We were there a week and had 3 females so every other day we had to go down and request toilet paper.

For long stays there is no house keeper. Sand in outdoor pool most of our stay until someone cleaned it. That’s when we took a dip. Everything else was great! Nice and spacious condos and clean.

They should have more elevators to accommodate the flow. You have to wait so long for an elevator. I know they ask if u would like smoking or non smoking rooms. But I felt they could have had a smoking area instead of walking to the curb. But my room was very clean and Kudos for that 👏

The property was filthy dirty except for the parking garage level. The front desk staff was rarely engaged and more interested in their cell phones. We brought towels to the front desk to exchange and on all but one occasion were told to put them in the linen shoot ourselves after we counted in front of them. We left and went to another property!

My family really enjoyed our stay here. We have an 8 yr old, 4 yr old and also brought our pug. Staff were always friendly and kept hallways, pool areas, and pool restrooms clean.

The room was very clean (thankfully) as I seen some bad reviews. I checked out my room thoroughly before I brought in my families belongings. I was very pleased. The floors were very clean as well with no grit and when wiping up water from the floor the paper towel was not filthy which was reassuring! The front desk staff was NOT WELCOMING! Which I seen a lot of negative reviews and I agree with those reviews. Management needs to address customer engagement and friendliness! Walked into the pet grooming salon! Wonderful gentleman there and daughter bought a couple treats for her pup! Pools were fine - had sand in them but it’s to be expected as people coming from the beach and may have sand on them still as sand gets everywhere even after rinsing off. Now the beds are not the best neither are the pillows. The pull out bed - hahahah - my granddaughter could not sleep on it as it was laying on “springs” only. She only 70# - could not imagine an adult trying to sleep on that. Overall would stay again as it’s pet friendly and clean nice area for pets to potty and reasonable price for time of year.

We had previously stayed here several years ago and the changes were not good. The oceanfront view was fantastic. The rooms need updating. No housekeeping for your stay until you leave. You can exchange towels at front desk however for 2 days we could NOT get towels. We were told they were “out”. The elevator was not working which meant we had to walk the stairs. It’s a 12 story hotel and my husband is disabled. ! If you run out of loo roll you have to ask at front desk as well. The code to get into the room was 10 numbers long. If you didn’t put the code in quickly it would let you in. At one point we got an employee to help us and it took him 4 tries. The pans in the kitchen are old and you can’t even fry an egg on them. We are still waiting for the manager to address our concerns as we were told by front desk he would call our room. We left a day early because we were so unhappy. I don’t think we would ever return.

One woman at the front desk was really rude but the others were great. They had 2 hot tubs and indoor and outdoor pools. They were all nice but did need a cleaning because of all the sand people brought in from the beach. The was a basic room with a kitchen. The shower had really good water pressure.
We stayed at the same motel last year but it went down some. They have also went to a key pad entry. So make sure you take a pic of your code because there are no keys anymore.
The balcony was nasty when we got there. There was napkins and food all over the floor. It has not been cleaned. Instead of calling the front desk I swept the balcony myself because I didn’t want to deal with the woman again.
The beds were the worst I have ever slept in. They were VERY hard and VERY squeaky. You couldn’t move unless it made noise. When someone tried to turn over in the night you would wake everyone up from the noise. The beds were a negative 50 in my opinion.

The check in clerk acted as if she didn't want to speak to me upon check in. She has me sign a paper and I had to as her if that was all because she acted like I wasn't there. Then onu last day there was a drone looking in my window, when my husband told the front desk they acted like it was no big deal. I was in the middle of changing my clothes!! The curtains do not close all the way because they are too small. I like that it was on the beach but I won't be staying there again.

Our room 1008 was clean, stocked, nice. Only thing was bedroom was next to outter door. Staff was very nice. Location was excellent. Walking distance to grocery and shopping. 7 min drive to boardwalk.

This property was average for an aging beachfront condo/hotel. The room smelled like it was wet and had no rugs at all so our feet stayed sandy all the time. The view and balcony were awesome. We liked that we could close the doors between the living room, kitchen, and bedroom. The a/c worked great. The elevators were fast. The pools were wonderful. The beach access was good except it would have been nice to have one of the set of steps be a ramp for us folks with old knees. It was bike week when we went and it was very noisy on the "strip" with bikers blaring their music cruising up and down the street. Parking great under the property, but hard to find the first time. They need more than 2 luggage carts for the whole property.

Upon arrival, I was shocked at the lack of care taken to the entry. 4 very oversized DIY painted pots for plants with no plants in them, 4 tall steel poles lined the entry and looked like they should have had some sort of awning, sign or banner but nothing. Not inviting at all. The smell upon entering was off-putting as well. Instead of a key, we were given a 10 digit code to open our room door, and if you didn’t put it in fast enough, you had to restart. The smell in our room was very musty- smelled of dust and mildew. There were I’ll repaired baseboards that looked filthy. The beds were not comfortable and they had a smell- very low grade mattresses. The bathroom was fine, but the washcloths and towels were extremely scratchy and had an “old” smell. This room came with a separate room with a pull out sofa. The sofa was nice, but the room had no decor, and mismatched furniture. There was also a spot of the flooring that didn’t match. It just seemed odd. I also couldn’t enjoy the patio as the smell of marijuana coming from another patio was wafting my way. The kitchenette was nice, but due to the feeling of uncleanliness, we didn’t use it. Luckily, we only had to sleep there 2 nights. The upside, was that it was ocean view. I just hope the others rooms at this hotel are in better shape.
