We asked for a handicapped room due to my husband having a broken leg and using crutches. The desk clerk was able to accommodate us upon check in. There was a tub and my husband could not step into it to take a shower so it was not ADA assessible. There was mold on the shower walls and tub floor. We asked for maid service each day of our 4-day/3 night stay. Housekeeping came only once and made the bed and changed out towels. They did not empty the trash cans, did not replenish the coffee supplies, and did not refill toilet paper. The floor under the beds were disgusting and had not been vacuumed in a very long time. There was no working fan in the bath room and after any shower or sink use it left the room humid. The room had a constant smells of mildew and wet dog. The pillows were musty. The A/C unit did not circulate any air. The engineer came up on day 2 to check the A/C output and the unit vent registered cold but the cold air did not blow into the room. And to top it off, the morning we left, we found a couple of black bugs on the bed. They were NOT bedbugs but I'm sure the damp room attracted these creatures.

Good location to University…was there for a visit. Thankful for hotel shuttle to and from airport!

Everything was extraordinarily satisfactorily. I will definitely stay at your property again if I'm in the Scranton area.

No Bell persons (we are over 80 & need assistance)
Room & Bathroom were poorly lit -- couldn't read in bed and had difficulty shaving.
No ventilation in bathroom & had to use hair dryer to clear moisture off mirror. It was definitely not up to the standards that we have come to expect over the years of staying at Hiltons

Easy parking, noisy dinning area due to games next to seating area

Enjoyed the Hilton but the $15 per night to park in a garage was a bit much. Radisson is $5 per night .

I chose this hotel because it was located close to I 84 and has easy access. The other reason is we were traveling with my dog. I’m happy this Hilton allows dogs.

The staff is great! Professional and friendly. But the room was horrible. This is my second time staying there, but the room was completely different. Had a one bedroom king suite; the furniture was old, worn, the desk chair was actually ripped on the bottom with foam hanging out, and the room had a musty smell. The bathroom had wallpaper peeling off, old old, small shower that my husband could barely fit in! The shower was plastic with cracks! Very disappointed and don’t think I will be returning. But again the staff is great!

After a long day of driving, it was a nice place for the night. Pool and hot tube were nice. Wish the hot tub was a bit warmer.

I enjoyed the pool. Went to go to the water park adult night which was cancelled due to inclement weather, but we did get to enjoy the pool. The hours was great cause it stayed open to 10pm. Didn't feel like a wasted trip since we traveled from NY. Breakfast options was great even though it was not complimentary due to booking through 3rd party.

Staff were all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They went “the extra mile” to make us feel appreciated and welcomed. Fantastic breakfast-Thanks Carl for your expertise and comedic personality, it brightened each morning! Beds were very comfortable and room was quite spacious.

Comfortable, quiet stay in a historic downtown area. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The airport shuttle service was why we booked at this hotel and was very appreciated. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Restaurants and shopping without n walking distance.

Nice hotel with overall good service. If you're parking in the garage across the street, make sure you get a voucher from the front desk otherwise you'll pay at the garage exit and get charged 16.95/day on your hotel bill...a detail they neglected to mention at check-in.

Front desk staff were not informative about anything. Was lost the whole time between going around the block multiple times to find a parkade, to finding the breakfast.

Room was just about OK. Bathroom didn't have a vent. Sink used to drain quite slowly.

Easy check in and front desk staff was very helpful with parking and dining options nearby. Great lobby bar - live jazz in the evening was terrific. The best part was how quiet the room was. We didn't have breakfast but it looked good.

Staff were AMAZING and the location was great! Parking was easy and the games in the lobby kept my toddler entertained for hours.

Listed in amenities was a rollaway bed. I was told on arrival that a rollaway bed was prohibited. One of my kids had to sleep on the floor. I was provided no compensation for the inconvenience.
There was no toilet paper in the room & shower curtain was moldy!

Why aren't there outlets that accept USB and USB-C in this hotel, It's 2024. There are cameras everywhere but not phone plugs in the outlets? I work for Richelieu Hardware who sells to cabinet makers and electric is a small part of our business but we sell lots of these outlets. It seems like a simple fix for Hilton to be a more convenient hotel.

Great place to stay! Friendly professional reception and parking is a breeze ($15) come and go as you please. Rooms are nice and big. Beds are comfortable but firm, so if you have hip pain, not good for you. Quiet and affordable and near a good bbq place and a nice bar/restaurant with an outdoor area and excellent food and service.

Our stay was pretty disappointing. The hotel is dinghy and musty.
The front desk staff was great. Super friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself needs a little TLC.

Convenient for downtown Scranton. Not that Scranton is much of a destination city, and my wife and I were just stopping here halfway on a road trip to see family, with Scranton being decided because we're big fans of The Office -- which wasn't filmed here, but does use names and businesses etc that are real in Scranton, so it's still fun to go have a pint at Poor Richard's for instance. Didn't get to the Market at Steamtown -- fka the Steamtown Mall and referenced/visited in the show. Anyway, it's fun to check out The Office spots regardless, and we took a short walk in the city. The Hilton was a good spot, not a terrible price, and was clean and comfortable. If we decide to make Scranton a stopover again, we'd probably stay here again as well.
