This little motel is adorable! Whoever did the designs in the rooms should come to my home! The rooms are stunningly updated with built-in cabinets, cool lighting, fridge and microwave station, lovely bathrooms with mermaid wallpaper and privacy drapes. Parking can be a bit tricky, but I’ve always found a spot. The employees are so friendly. Brittany is a happy lady who loves to laugh and share stories. They sell soda and water at the front desk, and are also happy to fill your ice bucket. Walking distance to many places, I love the location. The Boardwalk is very close, as is the Pier. Rates vary a lot throughout the week, so check ahead of time. Also ask for discounts like Senior and Military rates.

Was advertised as "ocean view". While technically that's true, it was a very small, obscured view from our window, and you can't even really keep the window open because of people constantly walking by and looking in the room, had to keep the curtains closed. Certainly not anywhere near the caliber of ocean view I'm used to from previous ocean view stays at other resorts. In addition, the room was super dirty. Toilet was disgusting. The curtain rod in the shower fell down multiple times. The room itself was run down and not well maintained - could at least use a coat of paint on certain areas. Some of the guests in a neighboring room were having some kind of get together or party and were incredibly noisy for several hours, talking very loudly, even yelling at some points. No doubt anyone who was staying in any of the rooms in the place could have heard them. I understand it wasn't at night, but was still incredibly annoying. The management there should have at least told them to tone it down. Lastly, the service was not the best. Took us forever to check in (I've never had this experience anywhere else). We were originally told our room wasn't ready, though another couple was able to check in even though they came early as well. We came back a few hours later when they told us to come back and were then told they would "check" if our room was ready. Fortunately it was, but it still took close to 45 minutes to check in even at that point. Not recommended at all

It is small, beds are uncomfortable, we ended up having to downgrade because the AC didn’t work in the room we originally started in. The shower curtain rod falls on you when getting out of the shower.

We stayed in an upstairs ocean view king room. The room was clean and had a great bed/linens. There were recent updates of flooring, wallpaper, and fixtures throughout. The shower was spacious, modern, well-lit and clean. The service was friendly and responsive. We interacted with three different front desk people, all were great. The balcony offered a fine, but distant view of the ocean and boardwalk. The location was great. It's a short walk to the beach, boardwalk and wharf. Parking was available in the main lot as well as an overflow lot right behind the building...super easy. Overall, we were quite pleased, we'd recommend the Seaway to friends and family, and we'd be happy to stay here again.

My family had a wonderful experience! The staff was extremely courteous, polite, knowledgeable and full of wonderful recommendations. One side note bring your own soap if you plan to bath because what’s offered is more of a gesture than something functional.

Let’s start off with the view that was advertised. There is a glimpse of the ocean mostly the dream inn across the street the photos of the room very deceptive what I didn’t know is there would be no drawers to put my clothes. No proper closet to hang my clothes and put my luggage away, they had a table and two chairs. One chair was not able to fit around the table the bathroom, the sinks too big for the countertop. There’s nowhere to put your stuff in the shower. Those no shells for soap or shampoo. You open up the back window, you have a view of a trailer park and all the old stuff that was pulled out of the renovation . They could’ve used the space where the tables at to put a nook there a proper closet put the TV on the wall and put a small table chairs in the corner and would’ve been perfect if I had known what I was really buying into I would’ve paid more money and stayed across the street and had a real ocean view .

Although they are working to upgrade their rooms, I was a little surprised by the condition considering the price that was paid. The room smelled strongly of wet dogs (assumingly from the previous guests). The new shower was nice, except they forgot to install shelving so there was nowhere to put your shampoo, soap, or washcloth except on the floor or the window sill outside the shower. At least it was a short stroll downhill to the Boardwalk, but still a bit expensive for the room type.

Overall the place isn't bad. Their door locks could be improved as there is no deadbolt. One of the windows is missing a screen but overall the staff was nice and the area is close to beach and pier.

I booked a spontaneous same day stay, and I was not disappointed! I’m so thankful they are pet friendly, I had a cute little room on the second floor with a view. The room was clean, the location is walkable to the beach, the staff were very kind, friendly, informative, and helpful! All to say, my stay at seaway inn was very pleasant and I definitely recommend!

This property is dirty. The smell of trash enveloped us as we opened the doors of our parked car in the hotel lot. The shower had black mold on the shower head. Outside the bathroom the carpet smelled of vomit. The bed pillows were lumpy and not clean. I paid for 2 rooms the same night. I woke up with itchy bug bites all over my abdomen. My guest in the other room had itchy bug bites all over their arms the morning after staying in the room. That room also had black mold on the shower head. The cost per night was equivalent of the hotel across the street. That hotel is a new redone hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel.

This was the worst room and hotel I have ever stayed. I had to wait outside and knock for them to open the door for me to check in. After I checked in I had to park around the block because there was no parking. My room smelled like mildew and was dirty. My toddlers found a pill or something by the bed. Bed was so uncomfortable and itchy. I woke up sore like I had been hit by a bus since the bed was so uncomfortable. Pillows were flat like they were years old.

This place was wonderful. Very convenient location. My family and I felt safe and were comfortable here. The staff was wonderful and called at 9pm (while we were closing down the Boardwalk) to see if we would be in after midnight so they could make arrangements for us to check in if needed and the staff even moved her car for me so I could more easily park my large SUV. Much appreciated!
