The place was old and run down. Our front door key hardly worked because the systems were failing. The place inside made me feel like I had to walk around with shoes instead of bare feet to not catch something.

the service was ok. the employees were friendly. the room itself, dusty, curtains were torn, tv didn't work, was uncomfortable.

The room smell was uncomfortable. Very expensive for what the facility had to offer. It was a rip off

The beds were horrible, the sink and shower did not drain, the toilet did not flush well, the key card was difficult to use, people were loud around us when we were trying to sleep
3.0 / 5.0
The staff is friendly and attentive to our needs, and the place, rooms are clean. No complaints

The lobby was gross, smelled like cat pee and cigarettes. It was dirty and the staff dressed like slobs. They were nice though so that was a plus and the room wasn’t as gross as I thought it would be so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

I chose a hotel I clicked on their information Looked at the room, The rate and began the process and Then received an Email 10 or 15 minutes later and it was a completely different hotel but it was a room with two queen beds. The problem is is that the hotel was not up to the standard of the hotel that I chose.

Checkin was not available until 530pm, i saw staff working hard to clean the rooms. Manager kept us company and was fun to talk to. Room was relatively clean, comfortable, and felt safe. Adequate parking.

Honestly… this place should be torn down.
Filthy, noisy, and a loud, broken fan in the bathroom. Awful stench in the room.
Did not stay on

No hand soap or shampoo.
Less than half a roll of toilet paper.
Room was clean

I didn’t like the smell of cleaner in the room. Like cheap pinesol but the room was clean at least.

It was an older property but has been updated very nicely. The only complaint was that the towels were very thin and quite old, but they did the job.

Property is a step above Motel 6. Staff friendly & helpful. Bedding torn & worn.

It needs better parking. Too small for larger vehicles. It needs maintenance work. Probably won’t be a bad idea to modernize the property and rooms.

The manager is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet.

The location was convenient for our weekend getaway but the pictures they show online do not match what the place actually looks like. The zoom was grimy and felt dirty. There was a very strong smell of pine sol cleaner but still the room was dirty. The towels were ripped. The staff was pleasant enough but I would not stay here again.

The main thing we didn’t like , was being charged an extra fee for an early check in. In the 20 years I’ve stayed in 100 hotels , never had to do this. They said they were overbooked, but we only saw 3-4 vehicles in the entire parking lot. The check in time was 3pm, we arrived at 2:15 from a long commute away, and had to immediatly be at a rehearsal dinner for my brothers wedding. We didn’t have a choice, we needed to change and leave asap to catch the shuttle that was mandatory to go to the venue. We felt like we were taken advantage of by pocketing a small extra fee , which we barely had enough to pay since two nights here was extremely highly priced. The price didn’t really match the quality of the hotel nor the service, ended up being a negative experience.

For $258.00 this was awful!!! Our bed was a matress on a metal baseboard that squeaked every time either of us moved, We were given 1 small pouch for 1 cup of coffee, the bar soap was very small - the smallest I have ever seen, probably about 2" by 1/2" and very thin. We travel quite a bit and this was the absolute worst room we have ever stayed in. Expedia should not recommend this property and really should refund all or part of the cost. We slept so poorly that we left at first light.

Our stay was not very comfortable and left a lot to be desired. The walls appeared to be paper thin as we could hear the conversations of the adjacent room. The grounds around the buildings were in different stages of repair. The furniture in the room was outdated and uncomfortable. The rate was overpriced considering the value for the money.

Sean was a nice guy and very helpful. Don't believe the bad rap he gets in some ratings. Set your expectations properly - The cost of this hotel is low so don't expect the service and amenities you get at a lodging costing 3-5X what you pay here. I had a dog and they are dog friendly...for a very fair added cost for my dog and the property was nice. Food & coffee nearby. I'd stay here again if needed.

My wife and I were in the area for an event and didn’t want to drive home late so we picked this place to overnight. Immediately noticeable is the messiness of the property. The front office is ridiculous and the general property is untidy. I think the whole vibe reflects the overall attitude of the property manager. Our room, while tidy was not clean and smelled like pets. The towels and bedding were old and did not look clean. It was late, but we decided that we would not spend the night and instead, drive a couple of hours to go home. We wasted the $200 for the night rather than worry about the consequences.

The clerk was a really nice gentleman. The room was perfect. Will definitely book here again.

Very nice motel and staff.
There was another guest a few doors down who allowed their children to play unsupervised , running about, etc. Kids will be kids, but these parents could have exercised more responsibility and consideration for other guests.

They are in remodeling/ construction. VERY near 101. Part of the door security is missing so can't be used. I think the fridge was plugged in (something was) but didn't trust the temperature inside. They did have a table and chair (but please don't lean back: the back of chair didn't support my back.) Management requires ~$250 (refundable) security deposit. I guess its the new trend. I stayed 2 nights: no one made my bed and I didn't see a door tag.

This hotel was fine for the price - I think my room was advertised at $107 and I took it since we were camping and got rained out and just needed a dry bed for the night. The room was quiet and we slept well. The location is good - very close to the freeway and restaurants, etc. The condition of the office was that it was under construction I guess and we couldn't go in so we had to go to an outside window and pick up a phone and call someone to come out. She was friendly enough. Our room was on the corner at the 2nd floor and at the end of the building was something like a construction area where a lot of things were sort of just laying out. Again - you get what you pay for. The bed was fine, the TV worked and we slept well.

After a disastrous failure on behalf of an unrelated property, we were left without a place to stay overnight. Thank goodness for the Atascadero Inn, they accomodated my dog & me, the clerk at check-in was wonderful, such a great relief. The room was clean, the property also clean, conveniently located.

It was a good inn for an overnight stay. It is right off the main road, so there is noise. It is very clean and well kept. Parking is a bit tight, but managable. The general manager is very nice and helpful. I had left my phone charger and was able to return and pick it up. Thank you.

We had to stand out in the rain and we did not get breakfast in the morning.

Affordable hotel when you need a quick place to sleep for the night. The two queen room is very big. Has laminate flooring so feels clean and smelled clean. Far enough from freeway that it’s not noisy. Area feels safe. Coffee shop right across street and Chipotle near which are never in shady areas so that made me feel good. The bad is there is no lobby and you check in through a window. Also, I witnessed a lady whose key had stopped working in am and she couldn’t get anyone to answer to get her another key at 8am in morning. Not cool that she couldn’t get a hold of anyone at the front office.
