8.0
Great location. Good for single or family travellers. Older patrons need to choose room near lift. No lift on economy side at present. Recommended.
5.0
Fantastic restaurant.... still talking, thinking about and comparing the 1kg steak I had for dinner... oh my delicious
2.0
Check in staff rude and very unhelpful. Tired old room . Definitely gone downhill since our last stay
6.0
Nice, clean and close to shopping and the river. No light in bathroom or heating either. Apart from that was good
10.0
It’s so calm, peaceful, quite homey as well. i love it.
6.0
Poor bedding .
4.0
Very convenient area.
Not the cleanest someone elses hair still on the bathroom floor and spiders and spider webs all through the bathroom
6.0
Our rooms were hidden down long hallways past the laundry. Out the back.
No onsite parking
4.0
Pictures look nothing like the real place, the hallways and atmosphere is like that of a horror film, carpet stinks, cobwebs everywhere, honestly looks like a murderers paradise
8.0
Right in the centre of town

The Grand is my favorite place to stay in Mildura. A grand old lady and central to everything.
10.0
All as expected and advertised
3.0
Checkin was unfriendly and not very informative, not giving clear direction to my room or info about breakfast or WiFi or check out. The bathroom had been recently updated with good assortment of toiletries attached to wall. new curtains throw and cushions on bed. All of this looked good.
Mattress very uncomfortable, valance ripped and the corridor to the room gloomy and stained carpet
5.0
Large spacious room. Room could do with a bit of a refurbish. Very quiet. Close proximity to bars and restaurants
6.0
Historical property well located but sadly very tired in need of major Reno in a number of areas
Great potential but not realised

The only Grand thing about the Grand hotel is the entrance foyer. After that it is like a rabbit warren, The lighting in the bathroom we were alloted didnt work and too their credit, they did change our room, but that shoudn't have been allowed to happen in the first place. Although the rooms were clean and spacious enough, they wer very poorly lit. The lighting in the bathroopm was poor and the drain plug in the hand basin leaked.
2.0
This property is very hard to find your way around. Staff not helpful and the room was tiny and not like the picture. This is a rabbit warren and with all the stairs it is not designed for people with limited mobility. This hotel is old and run down and needs a makeover
8.0
Great location however if you have mobility issues this is probably not the place to stay unless you can get a room near the lift. Floor coverings in the rooms require attention not really worth the rate

We booked a Standard Queen room and it was anything but standard. The room was very small with a double bed. There was about a metre between the end of the bed and the door to the outside patio. There was half a metre from the wall on one side of the bed and the fridge was hard against the bed on the other side, with the door to the passage beside the fridge. The usually rectangular room you expect was cut even smaller with the wall going diagonally from the end of the bed to the door.

Awesome place to stay with access to the main areas of Mildura and multiple dining options. Hotel is start to get a little dated but still more than does the trick for a good night stay
3.0
"Tired" and "past its glory days" are apt description of the hotel. Our room was uncomfortably small, bed hard as a rock, far too dim lighting in the bathroom, noisy from the nearby night clubs and not possible to fill kettle from the tap.
Only two pluses - 1/ great location and 2/ all staff (hospitality, housekeeping etc...) were very friendly & helpful.
10.0
Lovely stay, perfect position for dinning and exploring

The property was what we expected
4.0
Very noisy till about 4am. Between music, traffic and drunk people yelling. Wouldnt not recommend staying on weekends.

Cobwebs in the windows

Too old..holes in carpet..dirty walls...chips on plaster..no lift.. pass

Excellent

Overall condition a bit tatty - needs some painting! For example brown marks on walls and ceilings in our room (we had a suite).
Beds not comfortable at all - probably the biggest minus!
On the plus side, the location is fantastic, local food options really good, the pool area is very nice. And the staff are friendly and efficient.
Mildura itself is a pleasant surprise!
Thanks, Graeme and Angie, Melbourne.

The cheaper rooms are small and located at the back of the Hotel with access to noisy courtyards. Hotel eateries are expensive. There is good access to eateries nearby and the hotel is in the middle of the city.
10.0
The property itself was quite unique. It had everything you could possibly want or need - even down to delightfully friendly and helpful staff!
2.0
Would not recommend! May as well not have walls and have one guest commune.. save your sanity and money and stay elsewhere.
4.0
Very noisy, inconvenient parking and the building is old n clumsy
2.0
The only positive was my brief encounters with staff. The hotel room itself was very poorly kept, holes in linens and paint flaking off walls. To top it off we couldn’t shower in the property as the water continued to go freezing cold/boiling hot without touching the taps. My back was quite burnt and I was unable to freshen up. Safe to say we left at the earliest convenience and won’t be back to this hotel.
3.0
Average stay - this hotel in 1 word is OLD and rundown, everything seems to be done on the cheap with patch up jobs everywhere you look. The best part was the pool which was awesome
6.0
Needed freshening up
10.0
Fantastic in almost every way - just a query as to why our room has an old TV that doesn't receive the HD stations.
2.0
I paid $200 a night for a room that was 2x smaller than my friends who paid the same, felt like sleeping a closet. Overpriced for the beds as well, very uncomfortable.
6.0
Extremely noisy between rooms. Felt like elephants were above and I could hear conversations from other rooms word for word. No lift. No parking.
2.0
The rooms were very disappointing very old and depressing and not clean.
The carpet was all stained and loose.
Very dissapointed for nearly $200 per night.
10.0
Was very tidy and close to the river
