I booked this hotel multiple days prior and when I went to go check in on vacation, they told me they were sold out hand made me and my kids have to sleep in the car

Building was in need of cleaning and painting. Room was OK, bed was crappy, and walls were paper thin. Saw a hooker leaving.

Very disappointed. I made reservations a month in advance for a ground level room, but they didn't have one or informed in advance, otherwise I would have gone somewhere else. No ice machine or ice bucket. But they have a freezer in the room, big deal if you are there for one night. The place is just overall inconvenient. I'll never return. They also allow dogs unleashed to walk freely. There was a bit pull unattended walking around. I was very concerned for my safety. Nothing short of a 100% refund is acceptable, I'll not hold my breath. Avoid this place.

This is the type of place I love to stay and haven’t seen much lately. Pretty bare bones, but clean and with all you need. Full size fridge, cooktop, microwave, flat screen tv, very comfy bed, very comfy pillows. Regular sheets and blanket on the bed, so you’re not miserable with a comforter. And again, clean room and clean bathroom. I arrived after hours (by a lot) for checkin and someone was down to help me in under 2 minutes. The value was GREAT. Very much recommend and want more hotels like this!

I reserved room at this hotel due to it had a kitchenette but it didn’t come equipped with any kitchen utensils like other hotels do. My room was never cleaned the entire week i was there

We showed up after 1am so our reservation was changed to a no show. It took 30 minutes to get the reservation reinstated. Lots of highway noise.

This is not a place for families. People live here. We saw someone with a Christmas tree in their room in July. It is extremely loud with doors slamming and people doing who knows what above you. The window is locked which is a huge safety violation and the security lock in our room was broken. We should have just left. The guy that checked us in with the California tattoo on his face was really nice though.

We requested a handicap room, which ended up being on the 3rd floor. There was an elevator, but you can't always use an elevator in an emergency, so there were no good options for escape if needed. The floor was sticky from a spill, and it took 45 minutes for someone to come clean it. The kitchen had no dishes, cooking ware, utensils, dish soap or anything. For a "recently renovated" location, it was not at all impressive. The TV didn't work, and after seven unanswered calls to the desk, we just gave up. The "handicap" shower was a step-in bathtub, but the rest of the bathroom was ADA compliant. The mattresses were adequate, but the linens were poor quality. The parking lot was not well-lit, the neighborhood didn't appear too safe, as confirmed by the shooting and emergency vehicles in the parking lot at 3:00 a.m...... We won't be staying at this one in Amarillo again, and will be hesitant to try WoodSprings again.

Ober all the property was fine it seemed clean staff was nice. My only frustration was the main reason i booked one with a kitchen was so o could cook foods for my self and 3 kids who have allergies. I arrived checked in everything went well they were even accommodating in keeping us on the bottom floor so it was easy for us to come and go. Got everything in our room looking around for any form of dishes and couldn't find any. Asked the front dest and was told "we are out" i said thats really the main reason i booked a hotel with a kitchen is to be able to cook... i got an im sorry. Thats it... i just feel thier should be a set for each room i don't know anyone willing to pay more for botel wifh a kitchen then want to bring thier kitchen from home to cook while on a trip or vacation.

Lady at front desk is not bright. Made us wait 20 minutes while lady waiting in front of us said she was overcharged by $10. While they are sorting all that out they can just give me my key.

Well lets see here.. it would have been great if we wouldn't have came back to our room and found a squater in our room with our baby pig. All hell broke loose found out that a maid had been letting him stay in that room for a while and the managers had no idea because they couldnt catch them in the act. So i guess my family broke the case wide open. Lets just say its a night or a stay I'll never forget...

We checked in and within 20 minutes had to check out because we found roaches in the bathroom in the sink. Property manager said expedia would process the refund, still waiting.

I stayed here as a solo traveler for two nights visiting Palo Duro state park. it was a very good rate in my room had refrigerator, microwave, and burner tops on the stove just bring your own pans. The water temperature in the bathroom did not get above lukewarm, but I offset it with the cost and other amenities. Lots of strange people traffic coming in the back doors through the night, but as a solo traveler, I offset this as well.

The first thing I found upon check-in was used needles a syringes in the kitchen cabinets. 2 evenings later, there was a shooting that echoed through the building. Following that, the SWAT team came through and went to every room. Throughout the rest of the week, there were alot of migrants sitting in the halls and loitering outside. I went outside one day and found a screw had been drilled into the door latch to prevent it from locking. You could hear dogs barking, kids crying, couples fighting, love making and every car door shut and engine start because the walls are so thin. Luckily, I had a bowling elephant who wore tap dancing shoes while pushing furniture across the floor who stayed in the room above me.

Its very affordable, pretty much safe only had one shooting since I’ve been here but am going to continue to stay longer. Only thing I have a problem with is they only clean the rooms every two weeks.
