Seamless booking in process, convenient lift to 5 floor room, clean and comfortable bedding, great shower!! Above all great location to Adelaide Oval, Restaurants, Station

All the basic needs were there. Comfy bed with decent pillows, no shortage of hot water. Room had high ceilings so did not need to use air con. Location excellent for fast food, restaurants, trains and public transport, shopping and sightseeing.

For a cheap hotel, it was great! Clean room, bathroom in the room, great staff, upgraded for free. Thank you for saving my night!

Never again. The mattress was torn and filthy brown - it looked like they got it off the street. It also had eggs in the seams. I didn’t see any bed bugs so I don’t know what insect they were from. Disgusting, man. The bath also had a step inside it that was right underneath the shower head so it was dangerous just having a shower because you had to stand half on and half off the step. The hot water would suddenly turn ice cold. The toilet was not the cleanest. Holes in the walls all over the place. Not a nice hotel. Looked like a conversion from a hostel. Part of the door knob on the inside of the room was loose. No housekeeping or new towels our entire stay of 4 nights. No toilet paper in room. Had to ask.
Pros: Reception staff lovely and water pressure in shower amazing.

Always a great stay in the heart of the city

Expected more for ~$400 a night. A blokes trip probably ok. Never stay with your family.

This is an old and very tired building. The room I was initially given was large but window looked out onto a narrow space with air conditioners right outside the window which where very noisy. I asked to move and was given another room on fifth floor, good service. Lifts where out for the whole two days I was there but that was Ok for me because I'm fit. Other people struggled with this though. The room had frosted reinforced glass windows so I cou'dn;t see out and they where screwed shut. Two pains where smashed but no air flow throgh then so that was OK. lots of weirdness in ther room liker scorch marks on bedside tables, light fittings which clearly were not attached properly but the bed sheets where clean and the bed comfortable, room was quiet, apart from a lot of street noise early in the evening and early morning, I slept reasonably well but was woken early by noise outside both days. It just feels old and desperately in need of a refurbishment and it wasn't really that cheap compared to Ibis and other more modern hotels. I wouldn't stay there again if I had a choice

Staying at this hotel was such a smooth experience! From the time I arrived at the front desk in the morning and being able to check in early to the time I picked up my bags late after check out the staff there were absolutely fantastic!
Yes the building is older and it does show a little but the rooms are comfortable, clean and easy to access! It had been a couple years since my last stay in Adelaide but for a budget stay this was my favourite place in the centre of the CBD

As always, a great stay in the heart of Adelaide.

They took bond from me and haven’t refunded yet if they take bond on the spot they have to be able to release on the spot seems like fraud

Decent sized rooms with a great location in the CBD. Property is a little old with obvious wear and tear but still a nice place to stay.

Older type building but clean. Unfortunately the lift was broken but that happens. Excellent location, short walk to shops, transport and restaurants. Staff excellent and friendly

Front desk staff were lovely and so helpful!!! 10/10 for them. The pictures made it look a little nicer than what it actually was. But for $190 for 4 beds just to stay for 1 night, we were definitely happy.

My husband and I are 73 and 57 and quite enjoyed staying at AdelaideParinga last weekend. There were a couple of minor issues but the current manager Kayne was amazing and easy to discuss things with. The lift was temporarily unavailable but Steve was very helpful to run your bags up and down the stairs without even being asked. There’s a little communal room near the reception desk where you can sit and watch tv, have a free pod coffee etc. which was nice and free wifi. The hotel is right in the middle of the city, couldn’t get a better location, Pancake Kitchen in the same alley as the hotel, which is open 24hrs and serves alcohol as well. Many eating places all around the hotel. Because of this, yes it is noisy most of the night, I mentioned to Kane that I would rather the location and have the noise and just buy ear plugs, then he popped out a box of ear plugs and gave me a couple of packets, so if your sensitive to noise just ask for ear plugs (free), they worked a treat, barely heard a thing. The room was big, 30sqm, separate bedroom, good size tv that swivelled on the wall bracket soo soo could watch it in either room, bathroom small but efficient. It’s not a flash hotel, but this reflects in the price. I’d give it an 8 out of 10 for cleanliness which is mainly due to the tired carpets. We would be happy to stay again, Price was great!! Location was perfect!! Management and staff were amazing!!!

Didn't have the room l booked, and gave me a room at a lower standard with no recompensation. When l spoke to reception was told a room might be available in a day or two.
The room had been cleaned only superficially with dusty window sills.
The next day when spoke to reception about how noisy the night had been was told l should have asked for a room in the back of the hotel, even though this was not an option when booking.I then cancelled my booking for the next 4 days but was told don't expect any money back as they had a strict 48 hour cancellation policy, even though they could not provide me with the deluxe room l booked.

property is older and decor matches its age. basic but clean rooms. if you need a cheap overnight stay or two and you're not fussed about middle to high end this will meet your needs

It is in Hindley Street which is close to shoping and transport. Possibly rather noisy at night...the police station is over the road which can be rather busy at times at night! Therefore not quiet but reasonable rates. Comfy bed and friendly staff.

The description didnt match the room very put modern and to be honest felt like a hostel

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was quite spacious.
Only issue I had was minor. I drank from a mug that still had some detergent in it. Reminded me of the days mum would tell us she'd "wash our mouth out with soap" 😂
The walls were a bit thin. There was another happy couple in the room adjacent. The beds were obviously on either side of the wall. Just added to the already established atmosphere really. Good times 😄

Central location. Good price. Large room. Has a run down feel. You can smell people breach the no smoking rule. Old lift. Feels like no refurb since 1990.

Our flight was late arriving and we only just made the 8pm reception closing time. We were sent a text just prior to 8pm (didn’t see it as my phone was still turned off from the flight) to see when I thought we would arrive, get the feeling he would have stayed open until we arrived. They also gave us an upgrade with chocolates on the towels. Will definitely stay there again.

Do not stay at the Adelaide Paringa. First night, I was on the second floor and my window looked out onto an alley way. When the drunk people stopped at about 2am the trucks started and kept going until I got up at 5:45am with a total of about 2 hours sleep. Honestly if council came and did a noise assessment they would be shut down. The level of noise in my room was extreme. To their credit they moved me when I explained how bad the noise was..BUT
as I was out attending a course they needed the room. They moved my stuff to the next room while I was still out. My groceries and book did not make it to the next room. I complained 3x about this and asked them to follow up. I was told they would but at the same time was made to feel like I was making it up. They told me that they had asked the cleaners if they had taken the stuff - of course they said they had. Management insinuated that I was making it up and was lying. They told me on numerous occasions that they would call me and sort it out. They never did. Thanks for ruining my first trip to Adelaide.

Unfortunately this property has not been updated for decades. It is very worn out, cracked basins, doors, light switches. Over priced for the quality

Excellent location, and the room is comfortable. The bathtub is big but very dirty with lots of stains. Some small insects were found on the bath towel surface.
I’ve met two staff. Both of them are women. One is very friendly and helpful, while another is quite rude when I ask her how to return room key if I need to check out very early.

Central, friendly staff, not very professional when answering the phone, found mouse poo on the bed the morning after we slept in the bed. Lovely cool room to arrive to, spacious rooms, relaxed environment.
