All in all for the price. Reception was not manned late evening as stated on hotels.com, but instructions at the main entrance on how to get the key was precise. The person who answered the phone seemed in a hurry and/or not that service minded (so gave up on asking for hotel parking and found a spot in a nearby street). The room was really fine, but extremely hot/humid and the fully opened windows and the fan could not change that. Good breakfast :-)

A bit old, but the worst: no airconditioning! It was hot outside and inside it was just as hot. Almost no sleep because of the heat and the bugs (a lot) that had come in from the open windows before we arrived. There was a fan in the room but that didn't make much of a difference. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Rooms were reasonably clean but the drains weren't working well, so you couldn't leave the tap open for too long.

Breakfast good, Coffe very bad. Cleaning ok. Rooms are rather small. Wifi good enough to work from hotel. Room had a small stand fan. Self Check in hassle free. Location is fine. Quiet area but one needs to walk from the main station which feels a bit much in summer.

Arrived on Easter evening so no stuff there but all arrival info was easy to see and the key was waiting in security box. Although hotel is surrounded by block of flats and popular restaurant (right behind corner) it was very quiet. Room was big for family of 4 with welcoming sweets on each bed :) Beds were comfy enough. Tea, coffee facility in each room. Good size bathroom with shower, hair dryer, towels... Breakfast next morning was very very good with big selection of food to choose from. All in all pleasant stay...

The rooms are comfortable and spacious with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast buffet is well stocked with choices of hot and cold foods. Reception has limited opening hours, although contact by telephone is always possible.

This was the fourth time stopping here to break our journey. The location is great, and although parking can be difficult we always find a place on a nearby street. With COVID19, the breakfast buffer arrangements had changed, and the hotel staff were on hand to ensure we have had all we needed. If I would change anything it would be to have some firm pillows on the bed

The staff was very helpful, went out of her way assisting me in finding car rentals. The breakfast featured a large variety of delicious things! The room was quiet and very clean. The Wifi was fast. The bed was comfortable. The price was very reasonable. What more can a person want!

Well located close to the city center...I was lucky to get a parking...But you can also be unlucky as the hotel parkings are very limited...and then it might become difficult. Hotel is ok...nothing fancy but everything alright...staff is friendly..Several restaurants in walking distance..Wifi was very slow! Maybe the hotel was quite full and everbody was downloading/streaming...

The hotel is in a good location with plenty of free parking around. The staff were very polite. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of options to choose from. The room itself was a letdown though. The bed was uncomfortable and after 3 nights my muscles were aching. The sound insulation was bad and you could hear people walking around, in other rooms and outside. You’ll struggle to get a good night in the room we stayed in.

Overall OK experience. The good - clean room, comfortable beds, nice breakfast.The bad - no parking in the area, the enterance to the hotel requires passing through the smoking area of the hotel.If you are in Karlsruhe, with public transportation only, its a fine place to stay.

As a couple, came to Karlsruhe to visit our friends. The receptionist lady was very friendly and welcomed me on my own language (Hungarian) even though she isn’t Hungarian herself.Room was not fancy, but clean, comfortable, with enough packing space for three nights, well functioning bathroom, good quality shower gel / shampoo. Only an in-room safe could be useful.Breakfast buffet offered plenty of options both cooked and uncooked options. Chicken wings one day was a favourite. Hotel is in a good location close enough to train station and zoo (15-20 min walk approx).Price was second cheapest in town for the time of our stay (9-12 July) will return again.

Great hotel with friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Excellent location on a residential street just off a main drag. Easily walkable from train stn with suitcases, even with construction in the way. Also easily walkable to most places you want to be in Karlsruhe, and certainly very fast if you have a bike or want to use the trams. It took us about 20-25 minutes to walk to the Schloss area. Large room, big comfy bed, good wifi. It was REALLY hot in Karlsruhe, and like most hotels in Germany there was no A/C. This meant leaving the windows open all the time, with the exterior metal shades down to keep room cool. Our only complaint was that the popular Greek restaurant next door was loud at night, with voices and food delivery trucks coming through our open windows (not possible to close given heat). The shower was not the best, with a curtain around and easy to get water on bathroom floor, but it was no big deal. It looked like some rooms had balconies, so maybe try to get one of those, and up above the ground so it is quieter :) Wed stay again, the friendly/helpful staff made a big difference.
