We booked sea v suite and they gave us the wrong Room , after asking for the right One the argumentation was they were full.
Defect safety box took 48 hours to fix and the argumentation was the service Staff arw not here.
In Tjek took 60 min since they couldnt find our Pre paid order and was ULTRA confused.
All in all a Nice place with the worst organisation i have ever seen .
When we asked polite about the 400 difference in the Room value they asked if we wanted a cup of Coffee , and gave a card of the Experience manager which was not there about Any request

The property itself was beautiful. Views from the room were great. Food on the property was good. The lift from the top to the ammenities was very convenient. And both beaches that are accessible from the property are beautiful.
My only complaint:
There needs to be more accessibility with the parking for the rooms on the backside of the property.

Room was just OK and it was very far from everything, had to walk a lot and carry my babys stroller through 5 different stairs to get to mny room, for the price I expected more

The positives were the room was newly refurbished and lovely. The hotel was in a stunning picturesque location. The staff were generally helpful. Our children enjoyed the pool.
The downsides were apart from the room and restaurant the whole place needs a refurb. Feels like a 1970s leisure centre. The food in the restaurant was absolutely appalling. Mainly cheap and ultra processed and long queues for anything fresh. Parking is very difficult to access and inconvenient. The pool and beach area are accessed by a funicular, there is often a queue for this. No popping back to the room, it’s a 30 minute round trip. Lots of smokers by the pool, there was a group smoking cannabis next to us. The beach was extremely busy and the cafe is open to non residents, making it impossible to get a table.
Will keep an eye on the reviews as would go back if food improved and the rest of the resort was refurbed. Not in August though.

This hotel site is beautiful; the beach, pool and activities are great. Everything else makes this a place I would not return to. The room was worse than a highway motel from the 1970s. Beds - terrible, no AC so had to keep the windows open - bugs destroyed us. Simply didn't sleep my entire stay. Food was ok. Just disappointing as the view and the site was great. No wifi as well, but I can live with that.

Very helpful and nice staff, easy to get to by car, quiet, clean, really good apartment, nice beach and pool area. Really good.

Great family location. I bit isolated, which was fine for us. It had a bit of everything, we were in the updated rooms, and they were fantastic with a view to die for! Generally very happy. Warning; The rooms were about 600m from reception, and our room was 850m from the restaurant via a winding track of stairs and concrete paths, and a gondola. We are happy walkers so great for us, but maybe not for the less agile.

The property has a lot of activities to offer but it is a maze to get around. Also once on site you are kind of trapped. Nothing is very close by and getting in and out is via a very windy road. The rooms are ok at best. The four of us shared a room with 3 single beds. Luckily my 7 year old did not mind the couch. Parking is down across from the rooms so once arriving you have to park then take a gondola back. It’s very confusing especially if your travel weary.

The property is old, and didn't age well. Bungalows have no air conditioning! TV was ancient, and the remote nowhere to be found. Bulbs are incandescent, not everything worked. Weird sockets. Food was mostly crap at unbelievable prices. Everything in the main building is closed between noon and 4pm, ridiculous. Mattresses need replacing. Furniture is old. Bungalows have no internet. Wifi is available in some zones but is painfully slow. Kids had a great time by the pool - that's the only positive thing I have to say.

Perfect for family. Good relaxing area, paceful, fantastic for not doing anything....however, deffinetely not good if you want to visit places in Costa Brava (apart of Tossa), since the place is located in a isolate and quite area (which is good) and takes quite a lot time to get out before reaching a proper road...
Anyway, being aparthotel, I expected a bigger kitchen and bathroom.
Pictures on the web should show all the room types, and not only the Premium class ones, however, since we stayed not much time in room, we do not mind.
I would reccomend it to many friends.

Really nice family experience at great location. Nice swimming pools and kids playground a d despite fully booked, relaxing vibe without having sensation of being overcrowded. Cove is really nice with beautiful beach and great setting.
Hotel staff was friendly and professional. Restaurants on the beach were fine although service was a bit sloppy.
Entertainment for young kids was really nice!
Will return next year. We live at less than hour of the place and know the region very well. It is a great place to relax with the kids!

Fantastic location and very friendly staff. Food relatively expensive and below average. For example I paid EUR 13-14 for a pizza prosciotto with the cheapest and most tasteless ham on it.... in Spain, a country famous for the quality and variety of jamon... come on guys...you can do much better than that !

What a wonderful experience over all for us. The room worked well for our family even though we were there in July and in one of the rooms with only a fan for cooling. Even the mountain view was lovely off the balcony - no worries that we didnt have an ocean view. The resort was quiet at the rooms and lively in the common areas, easy to get help in English, and so many wonderful activities for every member of the family. The combination of the great outdoor pools as well as the beach was lovely.

I'm not one to leave reviews, in general, but we both enjoyed our stay so much at this wonderful spot that I wanted to share it. The setting is absolutely GORGEOUS, the staff is kind and attentive, and the room provided everything we needed (excellent views, mini kitchen, balcony, comfy bed, lovely beach, hiking trails) for a two night stay in the off-season on Costa Brava. And the FOOD was outstanding! Breakfast and dinner buffets are optional but don't miss the spread. Internet was slow (but we were quite a ways from the main facility and I'm sure that's why.) We felt as though this getaway was a real bargain and provided a welcome break in the middle of a Barcelona stretch.

The hotel staff was amazing- At the front desk; Mary, Jordi and Kevin were very helpful and really took care of us. Bernie at the dinner buffet was also amazing, while Dirk at the beach restaurant and Dries at the beach were also very helpful.Accommodations were great. Small kitchen but no complaints. View was perfect.Amenities exceeded all our expectations. Mini golf, mtn biking, scuba, tennis, archery.... you name it, they have it. Although it would have been nice to have the pools stay open later.Highly recommended.

Giverola is a wonderful family destination. There were tons of kids and many activities to keep them happy. It was a happy accident that we discovered Giverola. We will go back again.

Beautiful location,
Beautiful beach, activities for children, they loved it, we could do sport, relax, have nice walks, place really well planned and well maintained. We were in similar type of resorts, this is by far the best we have been.

Was a great hotel and the rooms were lovely.
Unfortunately as it's in a nature reserve you get flies on you while trying to sunbathe around the pool. The beach didn't have the flies but with the strong wind on our last day lots of jelly fish were blown to the shallow waters so couldn't swim :(
Also, the hotel is really far away from Barcelona so in total our travel there took 12 hours. For Spain it is a bit much. I would recommend going to the smaller closer airport. The airport shuttle doesn't come to the hotel either, it drops you at Tossa bus station so you either have to get a taxi from there to the hotel or wait around for the giverola shuttle bus. The taxi is €13-15 and the journey is only 10 mins so quite steep!
Having said all that, the reality has everything, the rooms were great And the beds comfy. My niece loved the pool And the beach. And the staff were all really lovely.

Not enough information shared, ie luggage to room offer.
Staff were select when they wanted to speak English.. ie ignorance when something wasn't right. Not all btw, some bent over backwards.
Room was covered In little ants .
Room wasn't cleaned in my time there (4days) I would recommend this place and would return.

The resort is in a beautiful location, with a lovely beach and nature reserve with walks. Lots of fitness opportunities. Kids loved it due to childrens pools etc. The bar above the beach was really nice. The apartments were basic but clean. Kitchen was really too small to cook in. There was no air conditioning so might be rather hot in high summer but ok in sept. We decided to eat at hotel restaurant (rather than beach). It was good good although quite expensive (its more in a Friday, which they dont tell you!)Overall fabulous place and would go back.

The Giverola was clean and lovely, well spread out, and the staff were helpful and reliable. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and a beautiful swim, loved walking the grounds, and were generously assisted when our rental car got a flat tire. We were flustered, the staff helped calm us. The little shop has a great variety, the bar/concert room is cute and comfortable, the dining hall has great views. Overall, we would have liked to spend longer here, we just didnt know how great it would be!

Lovely stay at Giverola Resort. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The beach was lovely and food at the restaurant was good. No wifi access except at reception this was a disappointment.

the views are amazing. They have a convenient supermarket on site so you dont have to leave the resort.

Rooms are detached apartments. All seem to have a lovely terraced view from high up of the beautiful private cove, which is owned privately by the hotel. This private beach is ideal. Surrounded by rocks but mostly pretty tree covered slopes. The hotel theme was mostly on fitness and for that it had everything one would need. Also great for kids of any age. Worth getting up for the breakfast! The Hotel is Swiss owned and guests were predominately German speaking but we had no trouble speaking English in reception.
