Very comfortable and conveniently close to entrance to Cradle Mountain Love to come back again

A fabulous weekend getaway to walk & get out into fresh air. The hotel was wonderful, comfortable rooms and the breakfast & coffee amazing!! Staff friendly & accomodating - we will be back!

Nice walking track outside the rooms into the woods.

First time staying, 2 adults and 1 teen. Decided to splurge on a spa room. Weather at the time we visited was abysmal. Freezing cold, rainy and gusty wind. The only undercover area to unload luggage is a small area directly outside reception. The doors to reception are manually opened which made manouvering baggage through rather difficult. Carpark is located quite a distance from rooms with non assigned spaces. You then access the hotel via a series of uncovered walkways with access doors at the end of each hotel section. Room was OK, tea and coffee making supplies and a bar fridge. Surprised that the only heating in the room was a very small wall heater which meant if you weren't snuggled in bed the room was quite cold. One entire wall of the room was glass looking out to the forest which would have been great, except that due to the lack of heating in cold weather the glass was constantly covered in thick condensation which blocked the view. Beds were very comfy and provided a good nights sleep. Shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. Shampoo,conditioner,body wash,hand soap all supplied. Spa was very loud and initially contained some debris from previous guests. The hotel has nice little spaces in each section with a fireplace, lounge and chairs where guests can sit and read. The buffet breakfast was great. Lots of different hot and cold options for both food and drink to fuel guests.

From our arrival, we found the staff friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant and everywhere in between. The room was clean and comfortable, and the Hotel is close to the shuttle to Dove Lake. Overall, a great place to stay.

Lovely location to Cradle Mountain walks. Staff were friendly and were very helpful considering we were in the middle of quite a big weather event with wind and rain impacting power and wifi.

Special mention about Charlie at the front desk, was polite and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant staff were always there to serve and once again nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and restaurant and would absolutely stay there again.

We had a very enjoyable, cosy stay on a cold Winter night at this hotel. Great amenities including a restaurant with amazing food. Lots of places to relax around the hotel and a 5-star service from staff who were so friendly and helpful! It is also very close to the Cradle Mountain visitor centre which was convenient.
