Great spot! Will be back.
Everything was amazing. If I was nit picking, walls are a tad thin between the bathrooms. We could hear our neighbor a few times. Everything else was lovely.

A nice place, but limited check in times.
Property a bit remote.
.
Room a bit damp,,, so had to use dehumidifier (which wasn’t on the hotel description!!!!!).
Not high on the list to return to.

The heater did not work in our room. One bed was too cold to sleep in. The other one had electric heating pads.
We put a beach towel from their spa on the ground in our bathroom after use. It was hung up on a hook the second day.
Coffee wasn't restocked on the second day.
Check-in was also unpleasant, but another innkeeper made up for it.
Wi-Fi was barely working as they advertised.
Overall - does not worth $700 per night.
I heard they might have changed owners. Someone who had lived here in 2018 told me the owners at the time were an elder couple from SF who went back for better retirement life (better hospitals in SF). Not sure if that's the case. I did not get to meet their lead innkeeper or owner.

Excellent property to visit if you wish to visit the Volcanoes in the area. Stayed in the Mauna Loa, Lisa was amazing and so was our stay.

Best place we stayed at during our 10-day trip to the big island, without question. Staff was courteous and extremely helpful. Cottage was amazing. Wish we had been able to stay another night. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

Beautiful romantic setting tucked away in the rainforest. Quiet and cozy. A pit pricey. I’d include a bottle of wine or cocktail hour with wine and cheese and snacks.

This is a very unique property, and we enjoyed that aspect as well as the proximity to the park but I am not sure we would stay there again. The fan was quite noisy. The lights were not working in the room with the double bed.It would have been nice to have sheets for the mattress in the attic. The breakfast could have been much better, why not at least have cereal in the rooms rather than calling this a snack leaving us to pick it up from damp containers outside the lodge?

Beautiful and quiet. Rooms were gorgeous! It was like being in our pur private rainforest. Didn’t even feel the need to close the blinds.
