A good basic hotel near the Anton Martin Metro stop. Friendly staff!

Great location however if you are arriving by train the the walk is all uphill. The hostal is above a cannabis shop. I would suggest you take the metro from the station to Anton Martin rather than carry your luggage up hill. There were plenty of supermarkets, shops and cafes/restaurants in the area. They offered us early check in and stored our luggage upon check out. The room was clean and there was a hairdryer but no kettle in the room. The room was cleaned one morning however they did not clean it the second morning. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours. I tried to contact the hostel owner about the noise however the door was locked overnight and I could not find a phone number for the property.

A decent hostel with a very good location. The room is home style and looked a bit old, but clean and pleasant enough for the stay. The building entrance is slightly less noticeable.

The place was ok to good. The area was not fantastic. It was like the international quarter. But not unsafe.

It was good to stay overnight after arriving on the first day of Madrid.

Very clean and quiet place. Perfect location. Our room was comfortable enough and it was cleaned every day. The balcony is helpful too. I would certainly recommend it.

It is within walking distance of the train station, the Prada and other touristy areas. It’s not your 5-star hotel, but for a “hostel” I had my own room and bathroom. No complaints.

This is a funky, old style European hotel with a small elevator running up the middle of the staircase. It needs updating and repair and the room is small. That being said, the location is very convenient with the metro close by and an excellent bakery next door for a morning coffee and pastry. Not for everyone, but fine for flexible intrepid travelers.

Great location, all major attractions in walking distance. Bars, restorans, cafés in close proximity. Metro station 50 m. away. Small but clean rooms. Internet service not available in the rooms, only in common area. Polite staff, non English-speaking but they will do their best to provide information you need.
Overall, worth for the money. Recommended!

It is in a very good location, close to the train station, on the third floor of an old building, with a small lift, with clean rooms. Every day they clean and help if anything, they called us a taxi which helped a lot

Well located near Atocha. The recepcionist owner could be more customer centered and smile. Reception tasted bitter. Not even a greeting for arrival. Room and hostal looks like from the 70s. Sheets are actually from the 70s. It says « comfort » and silence. With matress from the 70s you can hardly sleep. Though you can hear you neighbor sleep (or else). Sadly not recommendable.

This would be an amazing place to stay if they updated and replaced linens with holes. Otherwise, no faults.

Amazing price quality !! We were pleasantly surprised when we checked out that room was much nicer than the website’s pictures and that we had a private bathrooms instead of sharing one.
I highly recommend this hostel ! Location

Great location. Convenient to sights without the craziness of Sol. Also the Metro stop is practically at the doorstep. Room was small but clean, having a private bath at this price was a real plus.

The hotel itself is located in the busy street in the center of the city. The location is great, close to everything - the train station, museums, parks. I stayed in a very clean room. The windows faced the inner yard, so it was very quiet all night. There was no coffee maker, nor fridge in the room, the furniture was not too new, but for the price I paid, it was more than acceptable. It's OK to stay for one night. Might use it again.

The room is small but functional. Noisy street if you are in the front of the building. Good bed.

Excellent location, walking distance from Atocha station and Sol, and just a few steps to metro station Anton Martin. Room not big but quite cozy has everything to meet a traveller's basic needs. My room had a small balcony to take in sunshine and views of Calle Atocha. Friendly host. It was nice for my overnight stay in Madrid.

The hotel was fine for the price but our stay was less enjoyable due to noisy construction in the neighborhood.

Arrived 30mins before check-in time and left luggage with owner. Returned 40mins later and my bag was open! Owner couldnt understand English when I was questioning him about it. Room itself was clean and basic but the owner/service was appalling. Spent one night and couldnt wait to get out of there. Changed accommodation for the rest of my Madrid stay.

The location is very good and close to a lot of sight seeing places. If you are on a budget and staying over for a day or two its OK. Convenience and no frills over luxury. You need to ask for more toilet paper and small piece of soap. But you get what you pay for.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was not very comfortable. Wifi only available in common area. Lift/Elevator extremely small. Online it states rooms available as of noon but its not the case. Because checkout is noon, the rooms are available for checkin closer to 1-2pm. The cleaning lady was really nice and got started on our room right away but she wasnt happy about it. Wish the check in time was updated for future travelers.
