This was our third visit to Puri Dajuma and it was exceptional again. We stayed in Soka A with stunning views over the infinity pool. With the pool right outside our villa is was lovely to have a swim and retreat to our verandah. They accommodate vegans extremely well with many delicious choices. The gardens are beautifully maintained, many photo opportunities. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Puri Dajuma is incredible from the point of booking to the end of the stay. My first time in Bali. Not sure where to stay and had seen tons of reviews about Bali in general. We wanted some serious rest and relaxation and I was drawn to choosing Puri Dajuma. A little nervous as the description had shown “3 hours” drive from the airport. After 20 hours of flying, we had to mentally prepare for that. We booked Puri Dajuma and communication was a breeze via WhatsApp. Arranged a driver upon flight arrival and that went perfect. The driver was waiting for us and ready to roll. The drive was in fact 3 hours and it was raining. Perfect. Upon arrival at the hotel at approximately 8pm, we were met by staff at the car, brought in quickly, checked in and escorted to our villa. It was dark and I couldn’t see a thing. We ordered room service, ate and passed out. When we woke up in the morning to see where we were, we were amazed. The 2-story villa was incredible, the ocean views amazing, the pool was about 10 feet from the villa was also amazing with an ocean view. The food was incredible and cocktails also. Incredible exposure to culture included. The most amazing part about this trip is the staff. This may be the best place I’ve EVER been to in respects to hospitality. We visited 3 resorts in 3 cities to experience different parts of Bali during our stay. This was our best for R&R. I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Chris D

Absolutely beautiful surroundings with an amazing view over the ocean and a very well kept garden area between all the pathways and buildings. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and will help in whatever way they can. We were surprised this wasn't a five star resort as the quality and atmosphere is top quality luxury. Cannot recommend enough and on our last day we were already discussing going back again.

We had a wonderful stay here. We extended our stay to a total of 7 nights, which was good if you like lazing around, walking on the beach and hanging by the pools. My husband was able to surf the right break which was about a 5-10 min walk up the beach for a few days, then the swell decreased and there was not much to do after that. The staff was very obliging with driving us into town to shop (Pekututan) or to Medewi beach to surf or hang out. The facility is gorgeous and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Overall the service was fantastic, some days better then others, depending on how many guests were there. We had 2 different rooms while staying here, the first was one of the cottages that was very comfortable although the bed was a bit bouncy, our second room was one of the villas which was rather magical! No bouncy bed! You could hear the roosters in the village behind starting up at 4:30am however, earplugs worked well and were provided!! The food was very good for dinners, very spicy and flavorful and a good variety. The Balinese crepes for dessert rocked!! I would recommend this resort.

Puri Dajuma is a beautiful place. The gardens are particularly stunning. All rooms are steps from the beach, which stretches for miles in both directions. Besides local fisherman and a few others and the other tourists from the resort, you won’t see many other people. It’s the ultimate getaway in Bali, for the time being until it gets more popular. For now, it’s the opposite of busy Canggu! We loved how quiet it was. As for the resort, they take great care to make your stay as comfortable and special as possible. Everything is clean, stylish and well looked after. The staff are friendly and professional, meals are pretty good and the overall impression is that we highly recommend a visit.

We loved our stay at Puri Dajuma. We just enjoyed being in our cottage, watching the waves and swimming in the pristine pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. We had a complementary cooking class and found it fun and informative. The buildings are all beautifully crafted and this added to our enjoyment. Yes, we’d love to stay again.

Extremely friendly service, away from hustle and close to great surfing at Medewi, 2km drive about 10 minutes. White water surfing next to hotel. Great price, really only one restaurant although they open Japanese style hibachi once in a while, same chef, same/very similar food.

Came to Puri Dajuma with my daughter and granddaughter. Did not know what to expect as we have never been to Bali. We were all completely speechless with the beauty of the hotel and location. Hotel is not in a tourist area and very much tucked away where you can experience real Balinese life. Hotel shuttle available to take you anywhere you want. We went into Negara and the driver took us into the traditional market and helped us navigate and purchase foods and goods (money very different from USD). The staff also arranged for my daughter to have Jaja Bali (traditional rice cake dessert) after our last dinner there. Very cozy atmosphere and the staff is completely attentive to every detail. All staff genuinely care about how your stay is going and will do everything for your comfort. The absolute top of the cake came when I forgot something in my room after we left. The hotel arranged for my items to be delivered to our next hotel!!! This was amazing as the hotel is quite far out and I know of no other hotel that would have arranged for this with no charge. The room was also amazing- we were given an upgrade to the two story villa which my granddaughter was blown away with - even had hot plate, pans to cook with, and all utensils needed to have full meals from fish that villagers caught!. Surfing in nearby Medewi... the area is rustic and we loved the geckos and wildlife .... any area like this will allow you to enjoy the natural setting!!! Beyond beautiful!!

What I loved the most was the Eco part of the resort. The owners have done and keep doing their best to keep trash out and focus on running their business with sustainability in mind. This is an extremely important decision factor for me and I wasnt disappointed. Reusable bamboo straws, cloth napkins, ceramic soap pots with locally produced soap and a water refill station were the things that I was most happy about. Puri Dajuma really shows that running a hotel business doesnt have to require disposable products and tons of waste and emissions. All this without compromizing high standards that make a stay at the resort relaxing and enjoyable

We stayed there for a short week. Very nice facilities and staff. Quiet and peaceful, not crowded, no other hotels in the area. Fairly long commute from the airport, but it is well worth it if you want to see real Bali, and enjoy it without feeling that you are in the middle of tourist attractions of Kuta.

We rented the one bedroom villa, which I highly recommend. The living area has two roll-up doors to provide a very nice open feeling and looks out over a long heart-shaped pool with water slide down into another pool. The second floor has a bedroom with even more beautiful resort/beach views and also A/C which may be locked off from the ground level. There are bathrooms on both levels. The restaurant has clean water on tap and you can refill as much as you like without having to go into town to purchase your water. The beach is footsteps away and the resort provides a free shuttle whenever you want into Medewi if you are an experienced surfer and would like to ride those waves. The resort provides boogie boards and also has a full service spa. They can set up private tours of pretty much anything in Bali too. The staff are very accommodating. Breakfast is included and their crepes are amazing!! We really enjoyed our time at Puri Dajuma.
