Wonderful little hotel/restaurant in a tiny town in The Netherlands. Top 5 all time meals I've ever had!

Nice Town and lovely hotel.
Everything is perfect besides the steep stair up to the rooms.
Garden is perfect and food good even if breakfast is a bit to pricey

Great location. Walkable access to interesting spots. Excellent bakery across the street and the Arcen Castle and surrounding gardens were wonderful. The hotel restaurant for dinner was good and breakfast overlooking the garden was special.
Just wish they supplied face cloths.

Love decor as brewery logoed and leather pillows and chairs in rooms. Clean and very quiet - short distance to the brewery pub location even walking.

I arrived late for a one night stay in one of the two suites in the Garden Barn and it was surprisingly spacious and very well-equipped. The bathroom was a little tired (i'm being very picky here) but had a sauna, hot-tub type bath and a good size walk-in shower. The staff we really pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was superb and also great value.
I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone for a longer stay. It had a cosy and intimate feel about it and also it was clear that there was a pride in their service.

In the heart of asparagus country, this hotel lays close to the river and allows for wonderful resting, walking and dining. The room was very nice, great place and the only downside was I had to leave so quickly!

A super hotel, friendly staff and perfect restaurant.
The evening dinner was just 100 % perfect

many details to please the eye. nice restaurant and salon areas. severe hindrance is the narrow and very steep stairs to access most of the rooms, only a few stairfree rooms available upon request they explained. how do you request if you never get a warning? going down with a 40pound bag is a risk of health for most people. unprofessional checkout, shouting for payment when you already settled at check in.

I was at this hotel for a business trip, what a wast. It's such a beautiful hotel in an absolutely marvelous little ancient town.
Would be the perfect hotel for a weekend with your wife or girlfriend.
Very short driving distance to the city of Duisburg, Düsseldorf e.g.

Very clean and comfy hotel with a good bar and excellent menu. The staff were very attentive and extremely efficient as well as being courteous and having a sense of humour, would have no doubt about staying here again if we were in the area.

This hotel was great! A wonderful surprise. Everything about it was top notch.Stayed for one night in a room for three. The room was very large with very comfy beds and a great shower. The dinner was very good a swell as the breakfast.the whole place was clean as a whistle.Highly recommended. Great for biking, several places to eat and drink in town all within a stones throw.Stayed here in late March in the middle of the week, not much going on .The grounds of the hotel were gorgeous.

Overall a very nice place to stay plus the food in the restaurant was very tasty, only problem was we were on a business trip and had to rush off as the town and local area seemed well worth more investigating.

We have stayed here before and it is ideally located near Venlo next to the Dutch German border. We were going to be later than expected due to eurotunnel delays but the staff left us instructions on how to access our room as reception was going to be closed.

Travelling by car from warsaw we needed a quiet night before the second leg of our journey back to the UK, this hotel was just a few minutes from the motorway in a very quiet little town on the Maas, It was a small room but with lovely bathroom and was just what we wanted. the town its self had a few resturants to choose from and was very clean and peaceful. We will make this a regular stop over as we liked it so much.

The hotel was friendly, cosy, warm and smart. Ideal for a romantic break. Service and quality of food were exceptional.

We chose Hotel Maasparel for its location close to Floriade 2012 and what a delight it was. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant produced wonderful food. This was a perfect end to our week away which began in the north of Holland followed by a weekend North Germany with a group to visit our twin church and twin town. Thank you for providing a delightful and comfortable place to stay.
