A 100 year plus building that seems to with stAnd the test of time. huge, warm wonderful atmosphere and Im so glad I found this place. The picture on google does not do it justice!

Great for stopping over on a trip out of Auckland. Little things of the old hospital still there which make it interesting.
Quite cold when we got there & heating wasn’t on . Overall good overnight stay, just wouldn’t stay longer
4.3
A lovely stay on the way to our destination.
4.3
Hotel was clean and quirky. Checkin was easy and room was fine for a couple of nights
4.3
Clean and tidy and space for the three of us on our stop over. Helpful staff.
4.3
Was a very pleasant stay, though noise from the neighbouring property was concerning.
I will be coming back for further stays.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor View
Clean room quiet location with a nice view . The owner Gideon was very accommodating
4.3
The property was clean. I rated 5 stats for the cleanliness and comfort of the bed. The hotel is painfully dated. However, the service was great. Manor View surpassed my expectation!!
4.3
I had a late check in . The gentleman showed me around politely. Place has no breakfast. Room is ok , shower basic with plastic amenities. Bed had an electric warmer .
Everything looked a bit cheap - carpeting , poster of the tropics on the wall , bathroom sink with 2 separate focets. Definitely not a 4* place . Basic 3*

The property was lovely our room was decorated lovely with old world charm
It was clean the ground and views nice
Huntley is not a tourist town but was close to the airport was our last night in NZ so was convenient

We had a wonderful 1 night stay, such a unique building we loved it and the history of the place

Convenient for me, as i was travelling between Whanganui and Auckland. The manager was very helpful.
4.3
Always stay here when traveling north or south when visiting Auckland. A great place with fantastic hosts.
4.3
The property is well situated and was very clean
One point however is not as expected , the room itself is quite small with no sink in the kitcheen , we have to use the sink in the bathroom

A beautiful old house, a good distance south of Auckland. Huntly is a lovely town
4.3
This is a unique property with history and ambience that has been preserved by the owners, I would happily go out of my way to stay here rather than a motel a little closer to my destination in the future.
4.3
Lovely quiet location. Rooms are spacious.
4.3
Small room but good for one night.
4.3
The hosts were very nice and friendly and I love how they restored the building keeping the history of the 1929 hospital but still making it a very lovely place to stay.

4.3
very nice stay, excellent location, very friendly helpful staff.

I stay here when I finish work late in Auckland and don't have the will to carry on down the motorway. Its comfortable and a nice way to improve the trip.
4.3
Very quiet area, just far enough out of town, poorly equipped kithen, needs a fridge freezer not just a bar fridge to enable purchase of frozen food, not everyone eats out at every opportunity!
4.3
Quiet and good priced.
4.3
The accommodation was tops for comfort, spotlessly clean, quiet, with friendly, caring proprietors. Having been a maternity home, it was also the place where my mother gave birth to my siblings; perhaps the very room she stayed in.
4.3
Cute place, but a little dated. It was a former hospital maternity ward from the 1920’s.
4.3
Loved the fact it was an old hospital converted but still with homage to the original purpose. The friendliness of the staff made me think I could ask for assistance. I love a quiet room.
4.3
Quirky place to stay with good views.
4.3
Very unique stay at this converted 1926 hospital with great history. Perfect location to visit Hamilton and to get to the Auckland airport in an hour. Rooms have small kitchens and cooking/eating requirements for 2. Beds are very comfortable and service was excellent. Bathrooms are small but this is a great value and one of our best stays. We booked a second nite...
4.3
