Good location and accessible by subway and bus also walkable to the city area with lots of shopping and eateries. Hotel breakfast is simple and similar every morning with hard boiled eggs, bread, coffee and orange juice.

Booked this place at a very reasonable price and was happy with condition of the facility. A short walk from subway station, and facing a beautiful park. However the room is quite small even per Japan standard. There is no space for a chair or a desk and very little room for moving around. Overall I would stay here again for the same price.

Their breakfast was very good and had a good variety, the cooks deserve a raise. The hotel staff was excellent, friendly and courteous. the room was vastly over crowded with only two twin beds and a small but very good refrigerator. Wifi worked acceptably and the TV was most adequate. The common areas were fairly clean but the whole building was somewhat worn out. There was no closet and no place to put anything. We were always tripping over our luggage. The room could have used a thorough cleaning, but the linens were clean and fresh and the bed comfortable. Bath room was compact two people at a time was not viable, unless one was in the tub, but the water was hot and the tub deep though not long was acceptable. Was not greatly over priced and the location was close enough to both bus and subway to make getting around very convenient.

Unfortunately it was rain in the morning, so I couldn't run around the Heiwadai Park until my departure as usual. But it was so beautiful old castle field with rain in front of the hotel. I'd like to recommend their hand maid breakfast. I was so nice for me. A hotel staff gave me the map around the hotel when I asked. They have three types of maps around the hotel. It was so convienient to me.

Overall speaking, I have a pleasant stay of 4 nights at this hotel which is only 15 mins by MTR from the airport plus 5 mins walk from exit 5 (left turn) of Ohori Garden MTR station. The room is very small but clean and cheap. Daily Japanese style breakfast was also included, though it was almost the same every day. The room had smell of cigarette smoke on the first night, which I hate most. Luckily, it has reduced gradually on the rest days. The staff are polite and helpful, especially the young ones.

We booked non-smoking two double bed However, no non-smoking room when we come We cannot tolerate the smell. Finally, half hour ago, staff arrange a non-smoking but semi-double bed to us. But overall, the hotel is too old.

we stayed for 2 nightshard time finding place originally,but once found very convenientbe sure to confirm exactly which Heiwadai you are staying at orelse you are going to be like us and go to all 3 properties luggingaround your luggage, even though we asked directions from area shopowners-as they have 3 properties all within a 1 mile radiusbest advice is upon exit at Ohori Koen just walk alongside the waterfront walkway, youll see hotel after about a 5 minute walkwifi works if you rent(leave a Y3000) deposit for routerthe big draw is the free breakfast, if you like japanese food youcannot go wrong- this IS NOT a cheap continental style breakfast ! property is a little dated, and small but all we neededwas a roof over our heads so it suit us fine

The hotel is close to the subway, around 10 mins walking distance. Coin laundry is cheap, 200 yen when compare with on average is 300 yen. However, the room that I booked was a twin beds room therefore there isn't sufficient space to open my suitcase and get stuffs, need to put the suit case on the bed. Overall, the hotel is old, but clean. Wi-fi in lobby area only, there isnt any internet in room.

This is perfect for a visa run, but there is no Internet in the room so I spent all my time at the Hard Rock Café using free wifi there. It was cheap and had breakfast in the morning so it was nice having that.
