I was there for two nights. The second night I got terrible bed bug bites. That was really bad. They should really improve the cleanliness of their rooms and make sure there is no bed bugs or cockroaches. The amount of money they charge for their rooms would be justified if there were no bed bugs! Food is good quality and the staffs are mostly good and helpful. Another issue was: I paid for haram courtyard view room but I received a room without the haram view. So they should have charged me less for not giving me the right type of room.

This hotel is not even 4/5 star hotel anymore since we’re staying in 2018. It’s seems now more 3 star. It’s definitely not the money worth.
The receptionist don’t understand english in an international hotel that we’re expected the staff do.
The room is outdated with old and dark furniture. The bathroom is very small and the shower curtain is yellow and dirty.
Some places are smelling badly so much. It’s not smell clean and fresh, only in the reception.
The breakfast is boring and tasteless.
The coffee is cheap automatic coffee. Others 5 stars hotel serves coffee and tea with the table. Many guest's ask for more milk and the waiter not refill after guests remain it.
We’re choosing another hotel after 3 days. This is so a disappointed experience hotel

For a 5 star hotel, you would expect better. It was an okay experience. We had half board included with breakfast and dinner. Do not recommend it at all at this hotel. The food was almost inedible and was horrible. There were not too many choices and the cusine was veryyy limited. We stayed at zamzam before to but this was the first time we included dinner. Save your money and don't at here. Hotel rooms were good, service was regular. Nothing above and beyond. We have stayed at swisshotel and the food snd service was always better

Very good hotel. Rooms where a little old but the location and service makes up for everything.

Excellent stay, perfect location. Room good, and taken care of by Mohammad Jane. Breakfast was great. Plenty of eating places in and around the clock tower.

I had an exceptional stay at Hotel. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout my visit. My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the thoughtful amenities, like complimentary bottled water and plush bathrobes, added to the experience. The hotel’s rooftop pool was a perfect spot to relax with panoramic views, and its location was ideal, just a short walk from major attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

I have stayed here before and it was in a much better condition. The rooms have a stinky smell, as if they were flooded.
The room was supposes to have a partial Haram view, but it had a partial view to the outside of the masjid not the Kabah. They charge more for that but it is not what I expected. In my previous stay tbe partial Haram view room saw the Kabah.

Conveniently located but really needs updating the washroom it was a 2 star ordinary hotel washroom.

The best place to stay in Makkah, insh’Allah I will recommend to all my friends and family.
You must add breakfast in Restaurant Al-Zahra.

I stayed here for four days, it was a good experience, but there are a few things that they need to improve on so when I got in on my first day, the hot water was not working and then on the day it was working and also when you put the hot water on in the bath, a lot of dirty water comes out with mud and also the beds are very dated and not comfortable at all.

The moment we walked into our Kaaba view suite, we smelled mold and mildew and the air felt moist. The furniture was worn down and quite used with poor up keep. They provided a small kitchen but told us the stove wasn't working and refused to provide a microwave even though their branch in Madinah gave us a microwave. Their solution to all the issues was telling us that the hotel will be renovated completely after Hajj. Will never stay here again and will tell others not to. Their branch in Madinah was great thus we were shocked at the poor quality of the Makkah site. Very disappointed. The only plus point was the Kaaba view alhumdulillah.

Excellent location, Haram view and City view. However, the some aspect of the facility is getting old, is time to get some upgrade done, especially the toilets.

Overall we had very good stay, it was very convenient to access the Haram sharif and all other amenities.
Customer service at the reception was okay and very slow. They need to improve hotel check in system.
10.0 / 10.0
The hotel staff is a big assett and the current staff goes above and beyond towards helping out with customers issues.
Kudos to the reception and the Egyptian manager who provided all flexibility in ensuring the dietary issues one may have.
I will certainly look forward to doing business in future and to refer others.

Only the location near the Haram.
6.0 / 10.0
Definitely very close to Haram and that is the only good thing about the Hotel.
The rooms are shabby and the staff are not so efficient. The reception queue is always long.on arrival at the hotel I first waited for some one to bring a trolley to me for my luggage, to be brought in but no one gave me any attention hence not only brought my luggage in but also had to bring it up to my room.I was there for a day to perform umrah and attend a Nikah ceremony of my husband’s nephew which we did hence I assume it was served the purpose.

Old facility and average food. Staff are generally slow to respond to any requests. Little surprised that it’s ranked as a five star hotel

We did not stay here. After checking in we found mold and bedbugs in the room. We complained right away but even the manager refused to help and offered another room with the same condition. Very pathetic customer service with a poorly maintained hotel. I won't even call it a 1-star hotel. My wife is allergic to mold and has had asthma attacks twice yet they refused to help.
Stay away and do not waste your money here. We moved to Movenpick Hotel which offered exceptional service.

Not a good experience at all. Bathrooms was not clean when I got my room.

Check in was terrible. Took several minutes to get checked in as it was so busy and unorganised. There were heaps of people waiting by the reception. Staff were not helpful at all. We were not even taken to our room, they just handed the key card and made us make our own way to the room along with us carrying our own luggages. I would not consider this a 5 star establishment at all. We were given no information about breakfast or Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the location and getting into the hotel required 2 lifts of which both taken roughly 20-30 mins to allow yourself back into the hotel as the clock tower is so busy. Meaning the lifts take forever and stop at every floor till you can even make it back to your hotel let alone your room. We were put on the 22nd floor which is the top when i specifically requested a low floor with a baby. An extremely unorganised and manic hotel. Was a very negative experience and did not feel 5 star whatsoever. The phone didn’t work in the room which meant there was so room service help whatsoever. Hardly any clean towels or toiletries given. Overall unhelpful staff and far too busy to be a decent business. I would give this hotel a miss.
