First time in Anjuna and really loved the whole experience. This hotel were nothing but friendly, helpful and welcoming from start to finish. We would totally recommend staying here.

It would have been even more secured if the hotel has got a proper door and lock rather than having a glass sliding door with only 1 bolt which is very very weak. As far as it is full of guys that is fine but i felt very in secured while my two days stay with my wife apart from that everything is very good and good place for a short stay. CC TV surveillance would have build the confidence which is a lack.

This is a very nice property located just 10 mins away (walking) from the Anjuna beach. Reaching the hotel might seem like a task at first, but it has the best landmark next to it, German Bakery. The rooms of the hotel are very quaint and comfortable. They have a sliding glass door at the entry of the rooms which gives it a very elegant look, but please be careful not to bump into it in the dark. The staff, namely Pawan, Vikas and Vinay, are great at helping you out with anything that you would need. The property is small (12 rooms) but they have a library in the hotel, and also the main porch is great for having a sun bath if you do not feel like going to the beach. Commute to many popular places is easy and short because of the hotel's location. They do not have a kitchen and therefore it is not possible to get any meals from the hotel staff but they have contact/menu for a 24x7 restaurant which prepares delicious food. You may not get hot water for taking a bath, but you may get it for drinking. Also, the hotel staff can prepare tea in the morning, if you request them.
All in all, I would strongly recommend this hotel for its location, staff and comfort.

The banyan soul, an apt name. Away from the hustle bustle and tucked away cozily in a corner of an untouched green surrounding. Loved the rooms . The staff were really helpful and courteous. Will definitely recommend this to my friends and will definitely book it next time we are in goa.

No restaurant in hotel is biggest pain point. No phone to call for service for anything. AC flap was not working. Good thing were German Bakery was nearby, we can walk down to Anjuna beach in 15-20 mins, staff behavior was very cooperative.

The location of the hotel is almost at the center of the north Goa beaches. For those who are planning to cover beaches in north Goa, this is the best place. Though the road to this hotel is not that good but the location is very peaceful. I have stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and had good time.

It was a OK stay. There is nothing like room service, you have to go to reception to get any thing.

Nice place to stay if you want away from the crowd. Its 10 mins walking distance from Anjuna beach and the famous Curlies Shack. Its right next to German Bakery which has unfortunately is shut down now. Only prob is the approach road to the place is not lit up and is bad. Overall its a good place to stay.

The stay at Banyan Soul was great. The staff is very cooperative and nice. It's not on the main road, so locating it for the first time can be a bit of an issue. But if you ask the taxi or the rickshaw guy to take you to German Bakery, it might be easy for him. The rooms are clean and neat. The only problem is food. Every time you are hungry, you will have to go out. But I think they have a breakfast service, which I am not sure about. But you can still order food from the nearby restaurants.Overall it was a good stay. I had a great time. The anjuna beach is hardly 5 minutes away if you take a two wheeler.

Me and my wife stayed here for 3 days in March 2015. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have simple but elegant interiors. The courtyard outside the rooms is very beautiful. I was very pleasantly surprised with the aesthetics of the entire place. We really had no problems with the stay.
The hotel is located a little interior (near the German bakery) in Anjuna, but it's not too bad to get around once you rent a vehicle. You can rent vehicles at the hotel at a nominal rate. For nearby eateries, the German bakery is just next door and is a nice place for breakfast. Curlies is also a short walk from the Banyan Soul, but we found it a bit difficult to walk to Curlies at night, as the walking route is very dark.

It is a good place to go with friends for sleepover. They only serve breakfast but with the German Bakery just 2mins walking distance, it's not a bad choice. Warm staff and peaceful location.

The room was nice but due to mosquitoes could not open the windows and therefore no aeration - luke warm water was available ( due to the lack of sun the solar panels couldn't heat up). Decent food was available inside the hotel which was helpful especially when raining.

I visited Goa with my wife and son to attend my nephew's wedding. I stayed in this hotel for 5 days. Hotel is good for staying only like a guest house. No resturant. Food had to be ordered from neary by resturant and they door delivered it. Stay was good. Staff is courteous. Only bad thing is that they do not clean up the room daily. During my five days stay room was cleaned only once that also after insisting. Hot water was not available as they use solar panals to heat water and it was raining during my stay. There is no intercom/telephone or calling bell in the room. I had to go their reception area to call room boys for any service and when it is raining such things are really bothering. The management of the hotel should take note of this and improve such small facilities.

Its bery hard to find this hotel inside Anjuna but its worth the discovery. Rooms are excellent but the hotel staff dont seem to be bothered about anything. And there's no phone inside the rooms.

Good for staying purpose. Limited breakfast which is chargeable. You have to order for lunch and dinner. Overall good to stay there.

The stay was pleasant apart from the fact that during my stay of 3 nights at the hotel; one night, there was a power failure and the hotel does not have a power backup facility. I had to look for another hotel to stay for that night. However, I was refunded the rental for that night. The hotel is pleasant in terms of location, service and comfort!

When I first got to the hotel, I thought that the staff there (2 young boys) were pretty lazy. Then I realised that's just how things are in Goa - things are very relaxed. This hotel is lovely (though I hear it's pricier than other hotels locally) but the golden rule is that you just have to ask and ask for everything. I asked 3 times for the wifi code before it was given to me. I asked all the time for more drinking water. And after 3 days I realised I'd have to ask them before they'd even clean my room, as well.
Once you learn this rule, you will grow to love this hotel. The location is great for the beach there as well as the market. The route on the way back from the beach is pretty difficult in the dark so make sure to buy/pack/borrow a torch. The hotel has a connecting taxi service which I can also recommend.
The room itself was pleasant, and the shower was good even though it didn't have hot water 90% of the time. The bed was nice and hard and even though all the rooms are on the ground floor with just the sliding window doors, I felt safe there.
I think I didn't have as good an experience as other visitors since I didn't see the owner during my stay. That seems to be the main factor in why everyone loves this hotel. The boys were nice enough, and even though their English was a little poorer than most locals I encountered, I felt we created a friendship by the time I left. The outdoor library was what sold it for me.
I would stay in this hotel again.
