We loved our stay at Hotel Angra. The staff were kind, helpful, and kept our room and the hotel in general impeccably clean. They have water stations throughout to refill water and make coffee in your room. They replenish the coffee and toiletries daily. We slept great; the bed is firm but comfortable, the blackout curtains work great, and the super-powered ceiling fan kept the room cool and the noise out.
The hotel is in the middle of the city, so there are city noises (and chickens!). With the ceiling fan on we didn't hear a thing. We stayed in March and only needed the a/c once a day in the evening to cool things off.
They have gated parking but you need to get out of your car to open the gate after hours; the staff is great about opening it for you during the day. The entrance was a little hard to find, but it's right across the street from the gas station. You get a key for the gate for after-hours use.
The hotel is about .7 miles from the main public square with tons of local restaurants. It's very safe and we walked back and forth multiple times a day every day.
I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a vacation in Loreto.

LOTS of hot water and pressure. Really nice after no showers for a few days on our trip. Secure and walking distance to many places c

I stayed a few days in Loreto while driving back to the US after a few months in La Paz. I selected the Angra primarily because it has gated parking and a reasonable price. The staff is charming here and it feels very secure with all my vacation gear inside the vehicle. While there we took tours with Wild Loreto; they came to the hotel to pick us up and did a wonderful job. Easy walk to restaurants, the marina, Plaza, etc.

The hotel was good, clean, served its purposes. It was simple- nothing extravagant about it. The location was okay, it was a 15 minute walk to the center square. The staff were all friendly and super helpful. I would stay here again if I couldn’t find a closer location to the marina or beach.

Hotel is great and there are food options near. The walk to the Mission area is about 10 blocks. It's an easy walk.

Large spacious room, very clean, very quiet and secure. If you’re looking for a gated secure place to stay, this is it. We were traveling and had our truck loaded up, we never had to worry. Fantastic place, the lady at the front is very kind.

This hotel was great for our purpose. Our room was very clean, very comfortable, and was a beautiful charming room. The hotel itself was also beautiful. There is no pool and no beach however it wasnt a requirement for us. It is within walking distance to the malecon and main plaza. (15 or 20 min approx walk). Ana was very nice and polite and provided great recomendations. Parking is locked and secured. Our chihuahua was warmly welcomed as well. We'll definitely be back. Thanks !

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Angra. Although there was a language barrier, the facilities were clean, well-kept and attractive. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was a friend stayed at the same time I did, but paid less and our rooms were identical.

We really liked the security and the location. Off the beaten path but still easy to get to the Malecon. Reasonable rates. Very clean. Kind friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
No restaurant or bar, however, the Malecon had plenty of places to eat and drink.

Very nice out of in a neighborhood hotel but it's a small town so not far from the center, good secure parking, rooms very clean. Hotels are pricey in the area so $92 US w taxes was ok

Secure and easy walking distance to shopping and dining.

Premises are clean, big let down—dogs ON PROPERTY constantly barking, especially at night, they’re around all the time and I was even chased by one.
Service is good, opening and closing the gate every time you go out or come back in is a huge inconvenience.

Hotel was very clean and waking distance to downtown Loreto! Staff was very friendly and gates were locked at night so felt vehicles were safe as we had 2 e-bikes on back of our truck

I liked that parking was inside the property, and it was gated.
I did not like that there is a step to go from the main area to the bathroom sink and enter the bathroom. At night, I did not see the step and bumped on it. Please consider adding reflective tape (or yellow paint) at the edge of the step.

Having drinking water available was appreciated. A small fridge and microwave would make it even better. Love the secure parking and how a staff member appears when you need the gates opened. Excellent hot water and good pressure. Very clean.

This is a small property with a little colonial style fountain and a parking area behind a gate. It was a bit hard to find but worth the search. It is possible to walk to restaurants. Friendly staff. Could back up to the first floor room which made loading and unloading of pets very easy. Gas station across the street.

I liked that they had hot running water to shower after a busy day of touring.
I particularly liked how Anna gave us recommendations of where to eat and what attractions we might enjoy.
I also liked the ample size of the room.

This hotel was extremely clean, conveniently located, and had excellent customer service! The parking is also gated so we felt very safe while there. It is also per friendly which we greatly appreciated as we drove down the Baja from Canada with our dog. The owners have done a fabulous job with this hotel and we would absolutely stay here when visiting Loreto again.
