Was just ok for the time we were there. The only reason we stayed there was they allowed dogs and I have an emotional support dog. We were there for wine pick up at Ironstone winery. The bed was lumpy and very tight quarters for two of us and a very small dog. For allowing dogs they don’t provide a place for them to relive themselves. It was close to town which was nice to be able to walk to restaurants. Don’t think we’ll return to the area anytime soon.

What a wonderful location and renovation! Hotel Lumberjack is a comfortable and convenient place to stay. About 40 yard from Old Town Sonora, everything was close by. The room was freshly renovated and modernized with WiFi and able to connect apps to the TV. I will be back!

Check in was across the street from the room. Not far, but not optimal. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Parking was full when we returned back to room after concert and had to park across the highway at bank parking lot.

Hot water was lukewarm, no shower gel, bottle was empty, spider and cobwebs around the bathroom floor and the room smells like smoke.
The bed was very comfortable and a great TV.

I liked the quaint, woodsy style and the proximity to great eating and shopping places.

The hotel was very clean and plenty of parking. The pool was nice on the hot day..
The staff was helpful and accommodating.

Very clean. I love the updated room and that this hotel was a sister hotel to the historical Sonora hotel across the street. Staff was very nice and professional.

Cute hotel with a lot of charm. Was a little confused as to where the check-in was as it shares a reception desk with the Sonora Inn. If you stay there and get in late, be aware that the eateries dont stay open late but will recommend Flappys pizzas.

What a pleasant surprise this old, historic, recently remodeled gem of a place was. Definitely recommend- great value !

I liked the location.
I didn't like the exterior of the building. It looked like a motel.

Clean but older. Next to a busy road so noisy.

Great location and easy access pretty much everything!!!

Room smelled of smoke and wasn't cleaned properly. A very disappointing stay as now all of our luggage smells of smoke. Way too expensive for what you get.

It was a nice place to stay. Good price

Great stay, parking lot is right next to the police station so we felt very safe and the town is a great basecamp for the area. Comfy rooms, decent. Would come back.

Great area to explore, safe, affordable, and clean.

Not great about getting charged if there is a stain on your towel - surely that is to be expected!!

Nice stay, my wife and I shared a room with our two teenage daughters, room was small with the two queen beds, but it worked for the two nights we were there.
Everything was within walking distance.
Room was clean,
Would stay here again.

This is an updated motel stay. The interior is trendy and modern and works for a night or two. The only downside was that the room smelt muggy and they never came by and gave me extra towels for a 4 night stay. The location is great and overall it was fine.

We attended a family wedding in town. The Lumberjack was a close location to the venue. Likes: clean room, recently renovated, comfy bed and great staff. Dislike: lack of available parking space, we had to park a block away.

Staff at front desk was pretty clueless. We had two reservations for two subsequent days and took some explaining that we wanted to stay in the room over both reservations. Rooms are clean. No carpet which was great. Refrigerator was noisy so I disconnected it and the in room AC was loud - luckily it was cool enough that we were able to sleep without AC. Lots of parking. Great Ramen place around the corner and grocery store in 3 minute walking distance.

Stayed here for only 1 night but everything was great. Used this as our ending point coming from Yosemite National Park. Would definitely recommend.

We love the layout and features of the room and the hotel is in a great location. The only two complaints we had on this trip were:
1) Last time you could tip by a QR code on a card in the room. That option is no longer available and we had to use cash
2) On our first morning at breakfast (5/26) the lady in charge of cleaning up the breakfast room wasn't cleaning the tables when they were dirty. In fact, she sometimes just sat down even though there were dirty tables.

We loved being right downtown so that walking to shopping and dining was a piece of cake! Also, our room was very clean, had everything we needed, and we enjoyed hearing the creek out our back window.

We liked the that is was so walkable to the downtown area and close to restaurants.

Nice and quiet and clean

Overall, it looked like a newly built building, modern and clean. It had its own parking lot, and it was nice that they provided breakfast. It was located in the city center, so walking tours were convenient. The price was also very good.

The power was out from the time we got there around 10pm-5am. Our food got spoiled cause the fridge was out. The WiFi was out and we had taken a trip to get some school work done. With no wifi im sure you could imagine how that went. The phones were also out. And it was pretty dark cause no power and the check in is across the street. Didn’t feel safe walking over there to complain.

Service was great, fast, efficient and the representative was friendly. I have stayed here twice within a month and I will stay here again, great location and tons a places to have dinner.
The room is pretty spacious and I have a pretty good view of the brook passing through! Bed was very comfortable, towels were clean and the bathroom is massive!!!
Another plus is this is a pet friendly hotel!!!!

Staff Service was good, but there was one person working a weekend where it would be busy. The poor guy was literally running all over the place.
