Ratings and reviews

Moderately clean place for being dated. As seen in reviews, no on-site staff. Our room didn't have any soap (hand, bar, or shampoo), and some black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Staff dropped off 2 bars of soap while we were out for dinner.
Not terrible if you need a place on a budget, but we'd pony up a little extra cash for a nicer place next time we need a roof in Moab.

This is a really old motel, and it shows. The sheets were so threadbare you could see the mattress through it. The bathroom, especially the shower look like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Thick mold all around the base of the shower.
We had booked a three nights stay but left after two nights.
They also overcharged us on our credit card.

Don’t be fooled by the outer appearance. The room I had was completely redone, with all the amenities I wanted. Bathtub, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker, and TV, of course. Comfy bed for sure. I’d definitely stay here on my next visit. I come here to hike and bike, don’t require posh surroundings, just enjoy not having to seep on the ground anymore, and having a comfy place to come back to😎

Nicely located for food shopping and grocery store but the best part is all the beautiful things to see in the area , too much it take in in2 days.
Should have stayed 4 days!!

Fairly priced in a busy tourist town.

I choose not to comment on this property. The owner took care of issues.

This just had a weird vibe to it, although it wasn't bad once I got into the room. Two broken down cars out front being repaired, a reception desk with no sign of any staff (but they were friendly and helpful once I got them on the phone), a motorbike above the front door, a faint smell (maybe cigarette smoke?) in the hallway but all OK inside the room. The floor is lino (fake wood panelling) not carpet, and wasn't the cleanest. There's plenty of space, with sort of a walk-in closet for storing clothes. The place generally feels friendly but a little bit run down.
I had a scary moment being trapped in the bathroom with a malfunctioning door handle, and had to kick the door quite hard to get it open. When I reported it to the manager, he was very apologetic and promised to get it fixed right away, so hopefully it's all good by the time you're reading this.
The location is good, at the south end of town, a bit quieter than the centre but still convenient for shops and cafes. There are complimentary copies of the "Moab Happenings" newspaper in the foyer. Pick one up: there's more happening in Moab than I expected!

The place is in need of an update, but it was clean, safe and convenient, and the management was responsive. It was a good deal for the money.

So, at first I was put off a little, because there was no office that was open, and no one attending the property. There was a sign on the door with a number to call to get access to your room.
After talking to the guy, I realized it was a family owned business, and each door had internet connected locks, which the owner programmed, then provided me with the code to my room. There was no daily maid service unless requested (and for an additional cost), but I never want service anyway.
This place was clean, quiet, close to everything, and afforded me the ability to stay in Moab (my new favorite place) for four days, while visiting national parks, hiking, and off-roading. I would definitely come back and stay at this place.

Well, the property is pretty run down, needs renovating, and the cleanliness was not up to my standard, change your housekeepers. The price was right though and the location was okay...

I liked that they texted a key code so I didn’t have to physically check-in. So easy!

So, you're going to Moab. Chances are, you're not there to just sit around in a five star hotel for $200/night so why not just find a clean bed and shower? That's what silver sage offers, a no big frills room for a decent price. We had ac and a fridge and no complaints.

Great value and great location! Received a clean and comfortable room. Wi-Fi included. Short drive to 2 National Parks and a state park. Walking distance to several food and entertainment options.

Could use some cleanings in the rear of the property

This hotel had no one on staff which was a concern for us. Outside doors were left propped open even throughout the night which really concerned us; however, a phone number was available for check-in, questions, any needs or wants, and the owner was readily available - always answering on the first rings or answering texts in a timely fashion. There were no amenities but the room was clean and the price was right.

For the price, it cannot be beat

Decent place...very easy check in.

Beautiful cozy room. Met our needs for a National Parks base for sleep & downtime. Interaction over phone vs in-person with front desk was different but it worked for me. Had same experience at Mystic Hotsprings Utah. Totally cool. Would definitely ise this place again.

This place was a great price and our room had everything we needed. It was cool, comfortable, clean and convenient. It’s kind of a different looking place outside, but I’d come back again for the price and all the other things I said. It had ice and I loved the door code system. No bother if carrying a key card.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Locally owned. Run well.
Outside appearance has a "low rent" look but I will stay there again when I come to Moab as it had everything I needed.

Silver Sage Inn motel is affordable and comfortable place to stay in Moab to visit Arches and Canyonland. You will be pleased with cleanliness and responsiveness of stuff.
Of course the place would benefit from some updates like newer bigger towels, but look, it is clean and evrything is working fine.
3.0 / 5.0
The best part about this property is the value for the area. The actual property is falling apart, there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling with the drywall coming apart from water damage. Additionally, lots of spots with mold, chips, dents, areas requiring repair / painting in the wall and around the bathroom / mirror, frame etc. In the shower, the drain pan was loose / wasn't mounted. The remote controls for the TV and AC were dirty / weren't sanitized. The bed seemed clean and was relatively comfortable (although blanket was stained) but the rest of the property can really use some work. Overall, would not recommend / would not stay again.

A basic clean motel. A good price. Great shower with lots of hot water. We spent four nights here and it was pleasant and adequate.
2.5 / 5.0
Very affordable, clean and convenient. No soap or coffee provided although they had creamer and sugar packets. Not sure if that was a mistake or just not provided.
2.5 / 5.0
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is good for a no frills type of stay, which is exactly what you want since you will be out exploring all day.. the room was extremely clean and comfortable, bathroom seemed to have unlimited hot water for showers

Don't be deceived by the modest appearance of this motel - the rooms are elegant and comfortable. This establishment is very pet friendly. Check-in and check out was easy and convenient. Be aware that you have to actively lock your door - simply closing it does not lock it. The room had a fridge, coffee maker, TV, air-conditioner, heating, a bathroom, shower, and cloak room, lamps with USB and mains outputs, blackout curtains, two nightstands, bed, china mugs, and a breakfast table with two chairs. I really enjoyed my stay at the Silver Sage Inn.

We loved the location and the pricing and how quiet it was. When I turned on the shower, it instantly got hot. Loved that thank you for everything.

I made the reservation on the same day, but I was able to check in smoothly at 4pm. It was conveniently located near downtown Moab. The bathroom and beds were clean and I was satisfied.

Simple and clean amenities, perfect for my weekend getaway. Comfortable bed and a nice hot shower.

Guessing the room had been updated but on a minor budget.
Needed to get the desk chair out and put a Rod in to hang clothes up, rods in the bathroom to hang towels on.
Toliet needed bolted, it rocked. Manager was always quick to respond

The rooms are a good size and very clean! Perfect location close to town and dog park! For the price this place can’t be beat!! Will definately stay here again!
